I graduated High School in 2008, went to college til I graduated in 2012. When I moved to the city to work, I felt really alone, isolated, unsure of where I was going in life. And this song, this exact video you've uploaded, came up on youtube--taking me back to when I was 12 years old watching this show in the morning before school. That day, in the city, I downloaded this song and played it on my ipod over and over while I walked to work. I felt safer, and more like myself than I ever had in those moments. This is one of those songs that still continues to anchor me in who I am--who I've always been.
I remember being in middle school and this show would come on in the mornings. I'd get to catch an episode before having to catch the bus. I always loved this track anytime it played.
The place my brother works at had a wooden truck model set they were trying to sell for the holidays, and they had him build one for display purposes. He had so much fun building that model, it inspired him to continue building model kits, and he soon found a local store selling Zoids model kits from Kotobukiya. He got the Shield Liger DCS-J, and pre order a few more, including the Blade Liger, and Liger Zero. Seeing those kits got me interested in them again, since we both had Zoid kits from Hasbro some 20 years ago. I had a Rev Raptor back in the day, and when I saw the Kotobukiya Rev Raptor, I couldn't resist, and I put it together in one go. Now, we're both hooked, again. I just got a Genosaur, and I'm putting it together, as I re-watch the anime, and realized how awesome the music is. And that's I ended up here. I'm glad that series of events happened, otherwise this series might have fated from my memory.
I watched this series 2 or 3 times and then an advertisement I nearly missed, and it is for the final 4, and man, those episodes and ending were so worth the wait!!
Growing up things were not what I expected them to be, but one thing is for sure. My love of Zoids made me understand there was always a dream and hope to chase.
I wish they will continue the story line from the CC series, I wish I could forget it all and watch it again now.
