Wealth inequality is caused by welfare systems. The numbers for the UK are as follows. It will be the same elsewhere.
£16 trillion of pension debts hidden off the books. £600,000 per tax payer increasing at £60,000 a year. Median wage, £28,000
If Mr Average retired at the end of last year and had invested his contributions he would be sitting on a fund of £1.4 million. That gives a £45,000 income. The state offers 11K and no fund.
So wealth inequality is an issue, a major issue. So you need to be very clear about the causes. The cause is that the majority are not allowed to do what the minority do, which is to keep their income and grow their wealth.
France is a pointer where its going.

During a raid one shot a woman holding a baby. The bullet went through the baby and in her. She survived but the baby was killed. One killed a little girl that was sleeping on a couch. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I've seen numerous articles about this. The gove needs to stop this.

Their egos & perceived totalitarian authority are on full display. They did not give a damn about Lance even though he did so well in attempting to stop this agregious, illegal warrentless entry of his home. The very fact they tortured Lance both emotionally & mentally as well as degrading & humiliating him leading to an unnecessary medical emergency. It is just pitiful & unforgivable. Its alarming the pattern of police policy that systemically encourages the 'blue line' culture that dresses and acts indiscernible from combat soldiers, who think they are licensed to act without restraint, to impose martial law and suspend habeas corpus. "Chilling" raids have become commonplace among multiple law enforcement agencies as a first response choice to minor infractions. The larger issue is a judicial that rubber stamps such malicious prosecution without probable cause. The contempt by the public at large is deserving for the institutions of law, now shams, that were designed to give them a voice.

My father in law experienced a terrible mental trauma in a govt hospital of all places where medical personnel are supposed to be respectful of patients. He was a 97 yr old WWII veteran that had no mental issues...just physical aging issues. He recently experienced a burglary whereas 3 juvenile criminals broke in his house, destroyed his doors, windows, and stole...not once but twice. The second time they broke in while he was taking a bath in a very vulnerable position while they walked thru his house. He stood up and they pushed him down, laughing and calling him names. Now this was a tough WWII vet and due to his age he had physical disabilities. He went to the VA hospital for trauma treatment to get an x-ray on rib cage from the criminals pushing him down. He never slept again at night and tried to stay awake during the day and confined himself to the backroom and kitchen blocking off the rest of the house because of his fear and vulnerability.....not because he was crazy but to limit himself to a smaller area so he could hear if someone broke in.. He drove himself to the VA hospital and the VA sent him to the govt hospital medical school next door just for an x-ray (that is all) to make sure his ribs were not broken when he fell back when the criminals pushed him down. Like the VA had no dang x-ray machines? WTH? Anyway the govt hospital did not know of the burglary and was just to take an image and send him back to VA. What happened? They heard him talking about the criminal raid and thought he was crazy (he was in his right mind). They called in psychiatrists and ran him thru every geriatric mental testing treating him like he was nuts. This was even more disrespecting and at his age and vet background the mental testing was disrespecting to him and he got very upset about it as anybody would. The hospital personnel laughed at him like he was making this stuff up and hallucinatjng. They told him he was hallucinating about people coming into his room and talking to the nurses about his past rodeos in his early age for conservation etc... And accused him of speaking out of his head and put him on mental meds that interacted with his heart.meds causing more problems. He wanted to leave. The docs would not discuss anything with us because he was in charge of his own healthcare yet they wouldn't let him leave. We came to get him because the meds made him sleep and very dizzy and plus they didn't give him any of his heart meds for 4 days and he couldn't drive. The hospital would not let him leave and he wanted to go home. They kept him 4 days. We fought to get him out. He died the day after a four day stay at the govt hospital. All the disrespect treating him like he was a mental patient caused him mental trauma. He was very upset about it. The VA should have done the x-ray because they have his medical history and understood what happened and this would have never happened.!!!!! The govt hospital was just milking medicare and the VA reimbursements (charging the VA thousands$$ in reimbursements) and caused this man to die in my opinion. When you have young medical personnel students working on a WWII vet they haven't a clue of his past. We talked to the nurse the last day and she told us of what he was saying and we told her it was all true. She could have crawled under the table and she should have stayed there!! Govt hospitals have no respect for veterans they just don't understand them especially those that have served in war time. These ole WWII vets were tough old men and wanted to be independent and self sufficient and for this hospital personnel to laugh at his true stories were demeaning. Very demeaning. That's the way it is here in my southeastern state the govt hospital is using the VA by charging them lots of money for va patients and milking the hell out of Medicare and don't give a crap about their patients. He suffered terribly due to the treatment he receivedbat a hospital which was more traumatic than the burglary.

Yes, I saw it there as well. I agree with you. There truly is something immoral about cops. I think of it like this...firemen, yes, true heros. Cops though? Who in the world would want to be one other than a narcissistic egomaniac with control and anger issues. They are just smart enough to want a job that they know will be secure into their retirement with extra benefits of pushing citizens around, violating them, stealing from them, and all other sorts of criminal activity, yet dumb enough that the higher ups can count on them to do what they're told without questioning if it's legal, or even moral. What young boy would want to say that they are gonna grow up to be a cop? The ones that know that they can be 'legal' criminals. Bullies. Ones that can take advantage of citizens that are paying their salaries. Hell, they do it under the guise that 'they want to help people, serve', yet they aren't even bright enough they the reality is they are in effect paying themselves with their own tax money. Then again, maybe some have figured it out and the 'Fringe' benefits outweigh?
All I know is that the older I've gotten, the less I respect them. It's to the point now that I don't even know for sure why we keep them? They won't be there when we are protecting our families. They will come later to pick up shell casings, and take notes. I was burglarized a few years back and unfortunately a few guns that weren't able to fit in the safe were stolen. I called the police department at least a dozen times over the next couple weeks to pass along the serial numbers, makes, and models. I could not get them to write that info down. Finally after the 3rd week I had to go to the station and makes some noise to get the info out there. They used this excuse...
Well, you probably won't ever get your guns back, so we don't really think it's that important. That came from the Chief! Their 'leader'!!! Ridiculous!
I explained to him that I'm aware they aren't gonna do much about it and that I'd have better luck finding them on my own, but its not just the fact that I'd like to have them returned, but I'd most like for the police to know what additional rifles are out on the street, and should one be used in a crime, Damn it would be good to have you guys be aware that the gun was reported stolen some time in the past. That stupid cop, you could literally see the light blink on over his head. He was in charge? How many years? Was it the fact that it never occurred to him before, or did that flash in his eyes mean that he didn't realize I was that smart!
I would be happy if we didn't have a whole force of them across this country. I'll fend for myself, much better & efficiently.

The one that did told me to simply let it go unless I wanted to put up with retaliation from the police. My wife and I are both in our mid-70s and our health is not good, so I had to let it go, but it is still a raw nerve to this day. Some came back from afghanistan/iraq actually bragging about war crimes, and some did coke as they were about to graduate the academy before they became police. From direct experience I believe a significant amount of the police are thugs in uniform. The DA wont help you because they ussually care about convictable cases and they tend to be really careerist so they don't want to piss the people bring in bodies for them. Maybe you can find someone from out of the area who can work discretely to form a civil case though. Hope you have records, because you should cause trouble. A few years back I had an encounter with law enforcement (no longer called police in my area ). At the time I had no idea my son was in the back of a police car which was parked out of my view. I happened to be outside when I saw four policemen and one policewoman walking up my very long driveway. They lined up side by side with the female standing at one end. She says to me "We need to see inside your house." I asked "Do you have a warrant ? " She said it again and I replied with "Do you have a warrant?" This went back and forth several times with a couple of the policemen chiming in "We just want to look around inside your house." I didn't ask why or what are you looking for. My only words were do you have a warrant. Two of them even tried the good cop bad cop gig. After several minutes going round with them the female cop answered my question about a warrant with " Well we can go get one (a warrant). I replied "Good. I suggest you do that ! " Then I went inside locking the door behind me. They knocked on the door for a bit then went away. I give all the credit to my 7th grade civics teacher , Ms. Jasen from Yonkers NY.7th grade was in the 70's for me at Mays Jr. High Goulds Fl. south of Miami .

I'm not a lawyer, but qualified immunity only applies to cops carrying out their duties; if the judge refused to sign off on the warrant and these thugs went ahead with the invasion anyway, the judge might be sympathetic to the argument that weren't legitimately carrying out their duties such that they're legally immune from the damage they caused.
Considering the general awfulness of the US legal system there's probably a ton of reasons why this wouldn't work, but I'd like to see a lawyer make the argument in court.

    • @viralsheddingzombie5324

Half of your argument is correct. If it is established that the cops acted outside well established law, they will NOT have qualified immunity and they will be liable in a CIVIL lawsuit. Qualified immunity does not cover criminal acts committed by gov. officials.
You seem to be referring to vicarious liability typically used in employment law.

I hate cops. HATE. A number of years ago, I was driving to the first day of my internship for college credit, and I was on time until I got stuck at roadwork. They just kept us waiting there, so I began getting anxious as I had to get to my internship, especially on the first day. Finally, I beeped my horn as gently as a I could, and the cop who was working roadwork came over and screamed at me til he was bright red in the face. I tried to explain, he didn't listen. Then he told me to pull over. I asked him if he could just let me get to my internship down the road, and then he could ticket me there. He told me to pull over. I did, and he called in four (4) cop cars! And then, as slowly as they could, they wrote me a ticket for misuse of my horn.
I argued in court but of course the judge sided with the cops (Judge Rutberg, I won't forget that either...). Mind you, the cop that showed up an hour late to the court hearing. And they also tried to overcharge me for the fine, per the state law books. When I told the judge this, he looked at me and then as though he was doing me some great favor, brought the charge down to what the law books cited. The fine was also reflected in my insurance costs for years after. "Hate" almost doesn't aptly describe my negative feelings about cops and the justice system.
(For the record, I'm a white female.)
