- Hey Coaster Fanatics, This my front seat on ride POV and review of Diamondback. The B&M hyper coaster at Kings Island. This coaster has a max height of 230 feet with a drop of 215 feet and a max speed of 80 mph. With 5,282 feet of track, Diamondback features many air time hills and was the first hyper coaster to feature a splashdown element. This is my favorite hyper coaster and is a must ride if you're going to Kings island. Enjoy the ride. loving the channel my man. like the quick commentary at the start. diamondback is great, i prefer Behemoth by a very small margin, it's close. excited to go on nitro in 2017, see how that stacks up.
James Parker Jr thank you very much. I like to give a review and pov all in one video rather than make several different ones. I haven't been to Canada's wonderland yet. probably will go in 2018 because I think they will get a new coaster then. it's a strong possibility I'll try nitro in 2017 also.

Diamondback has the best airtime in my opinion of all the B&M hypers I've been on.
I would like to see a B&M Hyper at Kentucky Kingdom, California's Great America, Kings Dominion, Dollywood, Six Flags St. Louis and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

I love diamondback, I gotta say, how do you hold on to the camera?😂 I have a GoPro and a head strap for it, and I'm a little afraid to record on this ride! By the way, if they catch you recording, do they stop you?
octopwn I use glasses with a camera built in. don't use that go pro!!! it could fly off and hurt someone behind you. if you get caught they will kick you out of the park. I don't recommend doing it but If you do, do it in a safe way that won't endanger people and don't get caught.
You can also email them, and they say yes or no.
I can't pick my favorite between:mistic timbers,flight of fear,adventure express,the beast,or backlot stunt coaster.
they are all good. hard to choose.

Great POV! My B&M hyper ranking would be this, then Intimidator, then Nitro, then Apollo's Chariot. I hope to return to Kings Island next year. Might not do Cedar Point though since it looks like RMC Mean Streak isn't happening for 2017.
it's a great park hopefully they get a giga at some point. you should try raging bull at Great America. one of my favorite hypers.
Last time I ride this ride I cryed because it was my first time on it and it is really tall and my friend has to hold my hand the whole time. Lol

I think what really helps Diamondback out is the fact that is turns at the bottom of the hills instead of turning on top of a hill like Nitro or Intimidator.
This is true! You're probably right.
it's sooo similar to Nitro at 6F but Diamondback is waaaaaaaaay better. it's awesome and the staggered stadium seating is sooooooo good too, it's super luxurious.
I actually didn't care for nitro at all. Diamondback all the way!!!
I was sitting in the very back car on this once and got absolutely soaked from the splashdown. Don't know how it happened, but it did.
Jeremy Streets That's interesting. Never heard that before. I would love to know what caused that. Maybe a high water level or something.

Needs a fresh coat of paint.
yeah it is starting to look a little weathered, that's for sure but i kind of like it with a rustic look compared to its original glossy finish when it was new.
