I like where this is going, I can’t wait to see more progress! I love the hellcat engine but not a fan of the cars it came in. That motor in a lighter chassis is gonna be nuts
I actually have a spare BGE block and some 6.4 heads/pan/front cover and all that jazz.. I have been wanting to do a NA set up in a couple for a while.. this gives me some insight on all the things I was curious about so I'm loving it! Good work bro!
And u can use the 5.7/6.4 intake seeing u can use the hellcat blower on 5.7/6.4 Ud need a mmx adapter plate and flip it up side down should bolt right on no one has done it yet but it will work for sure can’t wait to see this one very cool build
Bigger holes dont always mean more flow. Port design and height also determine it and At a certain point you loose velocity with bigger ports. Like blowing through a straw and a toliet paper roll the air is going to move faster out of the straw
Funking yes , u crazy Canadian this things gonna be mental plus I've never saw a twin turbo hellcat and I'm shocked to see the amount of space uv got to work with and how far back and low u have got it 👍 funking legend bro
Not sure if you were going for a car mechanic simulator reference but i dig the thumb nail because of it. Just built a 1300hp crown vic in the game because i lack the funds to do it in real life 🤣 Much respect for you bro
The bottom end is stronger than most people know. The issue is always tuners putting way too much timing like an LS, they don’t understand that the efficiency of the hemi requires less timing.
I dont know if its really fair to say that new hemis have glass bottom ends. The early ones were bad about dropping valve seats and it seems like they like to eat camshafts but there isnt too many problems with them. The stock pistons on trucks and 300s is deliberately a NA piston with a thin crown and tight ring grooves with narrow rings. The first thing that happens when guys beat on them or boost them is they pinch the ring lands, butt the rings or soften the piston top with all the same consequences. You get piston chunks and a very bad day. Its actually pretty hard to find guys that have bent a gen3 hemi rod with the piston intact.
What exactly did you do to make those manifolds work facing forward? I was always told that the gen 3 hemi manifolds weren’t compatible facing forward because of the shape of the exhaust porting and the bolt locations
Love the channel dude. I can count the channels that I subscribe to on 1 hand, and this is 1 of them. For those that don't know, this man is the f'n king of hilarious azz analogies....has me laughing my azz off on the regular. Couple things on this video. Tho never as popular, Plymouth actually released the barracuda almost a month before the mustang, and the Plymouth cuda/dodge challenger was also a successful competitor to the mustang/camaro in the "pony car" class. I know prob 4 of 5 people are chevy guys/girls, but it wasn't just Ford vs GM back in the day either, as I understand it. GM execs hindered thier talented designers big time, as they thought racing etc was bad for the company's image etc, whereas Ford and Chrysler embraced it. Like you, i love all of it that makes power/is fast, and have owned several cars made by all 3. Like you i wasnt there either, but as I understand it and to quote what an old engineer once told me: "Lemme tell u somethin. Back in the day? If you didn't have a big block Ford (CJ/SCJ) or a big block Chrysler (max wedges and/or hemi)? Then you didn't have shit! Not a g.d. damn thing!" Regardless, keep up the good work man!
Just a bit of warning, before final bolt down of the motor and trans make sure you measure bell housing run-out. If the bell housing is not .005" or less In centerline tremec will not warranty the magnum if something happens to go wrong with it. If runout is out of spec simply install offset dowel pins. (Mine was out of spec, needed .007" offset dowel pins to maintain warranty on trans) my application was a mod motor in a mustang but same trans and same bell housing manufacturer
in hindsight it mighve ended u nicer looking if you had build the frame side of the motormounts and then tackweld the engine side tabs on the plates to line them up with the frame mounts looking at the exhaustmanifld and the way the wheel turns in on the side youre working on you might have better clearance around the tire if you clock the turbine a quarter turn and go over the top tube of the frame , gets the exhaust closer to the hood though , and the bend might run a bit too close to the valvecover to make removal hard on a hot engine , might need to see if theres enough clearance for it if you have the room around the steering columb you could go down back come bank up behind the v band then go up along the side of the manifold and curve slightly forward intoo the turbo again over the tube frame (basicly a twisted tree quarter circle ) , the sparkplugs seem to be on the inside of the valey between the heads so the exhaust tubes arent in the way of that , might keep the header way from the alternator on the other side too i wonder if you can adapt a holley sheetmetal sniper manifold to fit the hellcat , by cutting off the runners and fit new ones matched to the hellcat ports , the sheetmetal manifold should be weldable , they might actually have one for that engine
Hey Kyle, i'm from Brazil, you've inspired me to build my own project, i wanna build some sort of kart with a big engine, something simples that runs well, but i have a lot of doubts, could you do a video explaining all the parts, the cluth, the brakes, how you set things up, because everything here in Brazil is so expensive, so i have to make good choices with the parts i buy. Could you do like an overview of the F1 car set up for example or the trike. Thank you, your Channel is amazing!
Which one of your turbos would you recommend for 6.0 LQ4 with basic upgrades like cam and heads and ring gap stock bottom end going to hopefully be in a 68 C10 short bed goal would be 800 and room to grow with out swapping turbos if possible great video keep up the content
I'm an ex welder fitter. retired now, love the old fox body mustangs use to own one. I like to get one and do exactly what your doing, if my back ever gets better. nevertheless, I'll be watching this with attentive ears.
Did I miss a video? Show us around the car it looks very nice. I’m glad you’re getting back to (subjectively, just my opinion) better builds. The lawnmowers don’t do it for me. Keen to see manual drags/ drag&drive events
Hey Kyle. This one had the ol' school vibes throughout... fun to watch.😎👍 Damn what a wicked build this thing is going to be! The next one you build for yourself should go even quicker. Putting that big twin turbo engine in such a tight bay looks challenging, but looks like you’ve about got it whooped. The new mounts look good! Top job so far, broski!👌 #teamraceteam
Gonna be yet another killer build coming out of your lil shop in Canada. Definitely let’s people know if you just hone your skills you don’t need a big name shop to make cool shit. My question is though what’s happening to the sn95?
Love the content man keep it up. Your funny and do great work as well. And it seems like your garage is getting smaller with all the projects you have but still so much room, where you putting all this stuff?
Dang to bad u wasn’t looking for a trans now, just listed my built t56 with everything you need to bolt to a gen 3 hemi or hellcat 😢 you even got the same bell housing too. Mines got the white lightning shifter though.
When are you gonna come out with the grease only turbos? You know the ones where you just pump them full of grease then the grease gets gunky, so you just keep adding more new grease on top of the old grease. They sound GREAT!! insert sarcasm
Dude this is gonna be cool, wish you could’ve had the blower, maybe once you get it all set up you can put an even bigger blower along side the turbos😂
As a welder, i appreciate you always explain how you do everything. Not a mechanic so its helpful to learn this way.
Explaining the process has always been Kyle's gift. Complete opposite for me, so when he was learning to weld it was pretty sweet to watch.
I like where this is going, I can’t wait to see more progress! I love the hellcat engine but not a fan of the cars it came in. That motor in a lighter chassis is gonna be nuts
It's going to be wild I agree
Can't wait to see the HellFox and the F1 car completed! Love both projects
You got a great group of friends. Everyone helping each other out.
THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!🇺🇸
@@oldscut84 Amen Brother!
Lol he is in Canada.
So Ford guys, and Mopar guys are all on board with this (I'm not judging !) , but a Chevy swap is an outrage ? Hmm, noted.
Unreal looking build!! stoked to see this thing come together
Bottom radiator mounting solution is super neat Kyle, you’re a thinking man 👍
i am perscribed
The legend 😁
Hellfox looking good 👌🔥
That’s the build that I’ve been thinking about for years keep up the good work
Kyle, your fab skills are over the top! This build is going to be sweet and I can’t wait to see your fox build get started.
A 6 speed twin turbo hellcat engine in a fox body? Heck yeah!
I actually have a spare BGE block and some 6.4 heads/pan/front cover and all that jazz.. I have been wanting to do a NA set up in a couple for a while.. this gives me some insight on all the things I was curious about so I'm loving it! Good work bro!
My new favorite build on RUclips
Thanks brother
My hoodies all have the hood strings clipped off because I've had some close calls with the bench grinder, etc. 😮
Sweet build!!!
How awesome is this, an engine swap that is not just another LS swap!
As long as the mullet isn't burnt we good hahaha this build will be bad ass Kyle for real
Looking sweet. Awesome fab work. That hellcat and twin turbos is going to be so fast
Always happy to see more content, Bro! Great project to keep you occupied throughout that winter hell you live in.
And u can use the 5.7/6.4 intake seeing u can use the hellcat blower on 5.7/6.4 Ud need a mmx adapter plate and flip it up side down should bolt right on no one has done it yet but it will work for sure can’t wait to see this one very cool build
You can actually just tap the 6.2 head to accept a normal intake too
You can use the 6.1 intake manifold they sell adapter plates and then you just drill and tap for new holes
We got a plasmaman on the way 😁😁
Finally a build I’m interested in watching again .
Wow this is a cool build nobody else is doing! I dig it!
That's a good selling point for your hoodies. You didn't go up in a ball of flames and it's hard to cut through.
HellFox is going to be stout! Waiting for this christmas bonus to order my BSI wastegates for my TT Elcamino build. 🤙
Elcamino !!!
85 ChooChoo Customs model. Not too many of those around anymore. Much less force fed on corn. 🤣
Great video, haven’t watched your stuff in a lil while. This was outstanding, keep up the good work.
Bigger holes dont always mean more flow. Port design and height also determine it and At a certain point you loose velocity with bigger ports. Like blowing through a straw and a toliet paper roll the air is going to move faster out of the straw
Sick build! She’s gonna be a monster!
Awesome video man... Kolby Bouck is going be flying next miles of mayham....

This thing is gonna be rowdy! I can't wait to have a fox body to make a project out of.
Loving the build
200k subz congrats 👏
I saw someone in the Facebook pages used a truck oil pan and adapted LS motor mounts to put one in a new edge I hope this helps.

Been waiting for this video! Such a cool and unique project
I'm sooooo freaking jealous! You are living the dream!
What was your rough cost on this build? …I have a spare hellcat motor and am itching to find a body/build for it.
beautiful, an i mean BEAUTIFUL build my man, great combo, an for u to make it work in a fb.... great job bro
I love your drive you never give up just watching you makes me tired lol
Keep grinding 😁😁
Looking forward to seeing more of this build
Need an unsponsored opinion on the skull candy headphones 😂❤️
Excited to see the new builds
I really enjoy the battery life

Excited for this build but we need constant updates on maliboost
Can't wait to see the whole build

Will do sir. I just bolted it up now for mock up 😁
in hindsight it mighve ended u nicer looking if you had build the frame side of the motormounts and then tackweld the engine side tabs on the plates to line them up with the frame mounts
looking at the exhaustmanifld and the way the wheel turns in on the side youre working on you might have better clearance around the tire if you clock the turbine a quarter turn and go over the top tube of the frame , gets the exhaust closer to the hood though , and the bend might run a bit too close to the valvecover to make removal hard on a hot engine , might need to see if theres enough clearance for it
if you have the room around the steering columb you could go down back come bank up behind the v band then go up along the side of the manifold and curve slightly forward intoo the turbo again over the tube frame (basicly a twisted tree quarter circle ) , the sparkplugs seem to be on the inside of the valey between the heads so the exhaust tubes arent in the way of that , might keep the header way from the alternator on the other side too
i wonder if you can adapt a holley sheetmetal sniper manifold to fit the hellcat , by cutting off the runners and fit new ones matched to the hellcat ports , the sheetmetal manifold should be weldable , they might actually have one for that engine
Kyle what kinds of filler and amps do you run on aluminum? Gonna try welding my own boost pipes here soon

Either a 76mm or 80mm in the 96 turbine wheel 😁
@Boosted Lifestyle thanks a lot for the info I will see what you guys off on your website
You might be the next Canadian astronaut because that car is going to be a ROCKET ! ! ! LOL!
hemi foxbody with a stick ❤️ dang man i can’t wait to see both these built and rippin👍

Any updates on this car ?
When is the 5th episode i cant wait
i've said it before and ill say it again...When it gets cold, shit gets weird....and we love to see it!
This build is on 🔥...
6:53 Oh, wait, it's just Kyle.
Hahahahahahaha I didn't mean to do that
This looks like it's going to be fun to watch keep up make it a little longer
Hell yeah Kyle! Looking good!

Hell yea buddy!! That’s gonna be one sweet fox!!
The perfect mustang doesnt exis......ohh it does. a foxbody with twin turbo hellcat???? yessssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What stock manifolds are those?
Can the exhaust manifolds be reversed so the outlet aims up?
It might be easier to connect than aiming down.
Will hit the alt on the passenger side
That’s one clean looking shell!

This fox is my friend's fox. My fox will be getting a 5.7 and a t56. And the sn95 will stay an auto car
@@Boostedlifestyle sweet action man. You gonna make the final TX2K in 23?
I'm currently putting a twin turbo 6.1 hemi in my foxbody on my channel. It's cool to see someone else doing this!
I'm gonna build a second one too but with a 5.7 😁
I also subbed looking forward to seeing progress
@Boostedlifestyle I'll be watching for the 5.7 build. And thanks man!
Fuck yea man, i love it. Damn -30* there and 45*F in NC today and i was riding my motorcycle at 55* yesterday, to cold up there for me lol
You got so much done this video 🔥
Thank you 😁 I've been trying to put out videos less frequently but more dense
Love the content man keep it up. Your funny and do great work as well. And it seems like your garage is getting smaller with all the projects you have but still so much room, where you putting all this stuff?
And who’s the foxbody for if your going to have one?
Lost the sound?
can someone clue me in!! Why are Mirrored Turbskies uncommon???? if your spending the money on 2 turbos and you have the option???
Stocking twice as many parts isn't enjoyable
@@Boostedlifestyle is it an option to order mirrored from BSI?
Dang to bad u wasn’t looking for a trans now, just listed my built t56 with everything you need to bolt to a gen 3 hemi or hellcat 😢 you even got the same bell housing too. Mines got the white lightning shifter though.
Where are you guys located
Hahahaha i burn my hoodies like that all the time! Nice job Kyle, your fearless approach is very inspiring thanks for posting
Maybe Ol' Skeeter offset the fender bars to compensate for frame twist mid-wheelie, heh heh.
Try the blower first. If its a roots They sound insane.
Why not get the blower and slap twin turbos on it (kind of like the Hellion twin turbo kit for hellcats)
It should be called HELLHORSE
What’s the part number for that bell housing
Super excited!!!!!!!!!
Hell yes! Finally! Been waiting for more content from you. Is this your fox?
Oh just seen your friends got you a fox... Sweet! I can't wait for your build.
Yeah this one isn't mine. But I'll be building one with a 5.7 Hemi and a t56 also
Kyle buddy, this project is freaking nuts brother 🤯
Who thought this one up?
Love those turbos!
SICK!
Man, imagine the hellcat v8 with a blower + twins, can´t wait to see it done!
No blower too restrictive
It's gonna be epic.... Wish I could have it
That car is gonna be mad and im all for it!
👍👍👍
It's like an old Buick nailhead those ports that's was their idea I was a good idea by Buick Mopar did a great job designing that engine
Looks wide in that bay, I'm interested to see how you decide to do the Hot side! 👍 #BuiltByBo
