Saying Goodbye To Our Home

- Life is constantly changing. This year we have made a decision to sell our home her e in Santa Rosa and rent. This was where our family met all of you our RUclips friends and family. With Daniel heading to college and Jay retiring in two years, we decided that this change needed to happen to make sure we could survive financially. So many amazing memories were made in our Denton Way home. We as a family know that home is where our family lives not the building n which we live.

Aww guys! I started watching you when I was 16. I'm now almost 26. Unbelievable how time flies, and how emotional this video made me! Aging is such a sad yet beautiful process. But I guess it's the new memories we make that we can look forward to and we always have our old memories to hang on to. Congrats guys

I have been watching y’all since the beginning and y’all helped me come out and now I have my own home with my Husband and we have five kids. We too are moving but our house won’t be done until next year. This was a bittersweet video to watch but congratulations on everything and your future endeavors ❤️

Not sure if you guys had thought about it but I would have taken the door from the old house that had the kids' height charts and just replaced that one door with a new door. That way you guys would have had the real thing. And I would have stored that door somewhere and then one day when you had a bigger place you could have used a couple of saw horse legs and put the door on top of those with a sheet of glass to protect the height chart and had a do it yourself table.
Congrats on the new home! It always takes a while to put everything in its place but I'm sure you'll all enjoy it!

Loved your old home but I understand the desire to lighten up and consolidate you're resources and prepare for the future. Thanks for the new home tour! It offers some of the best beaches in the country and beautiful weather all year long....not to mention the housing market is so much more affordable compared to California. ❤️ Love & Hugs Guys

Wow. Like, I never thought I'd be gutted to see someone move house, but I loved the look of your old house, the tv in the frame and all the colourful lights in the living room, it was just something you'd look at and go "yeah, that's Jay and Bryan".
Your new home though is absolutely beautiful, is that a balcony at the front through your office?
I know it's not much the same, but I had to move apartment 2 years ago because my old one was being pulled down, I moved into a modern build and I've gotta admit, I love it, but moving is something I never ever want to do again. Like, I never realised how much stuff I actually had, just stupid amounts of clothes and stuff! So I hope your move went as smooth as it could have done, and I'll raise a toast to you all and your new home from over here in England!

I can’t believe it’s been nearly 10 years since that first video. It still catches me off guard when Selena talks like a teenager instead of a little girl. I found this channel when I was in high school, and it was both inspiring and empowering to see a gay couple with a family. So thanks so much for sharing your lives with us ❤️

Congrats on the new house! We moved into a new house last year (due to our old house needing to be demolished as it was damaged by sandy). It's super exciting having a brand spanking new house and really making it your own from the very beginning. Don't be worried after the first year when it starts to settle a bit! And the kids have gotten so big!

I wish I had Daniel and Selena's attitude every time I've had to move. I always get attached to the place I live and then I get heartbroken when I have to leave it. It sucks you all moved out of that house, but if someone's offering a lot of money for it, I can't fault you for not passing that up. The new house looks good!
Put butter on the top of the cats front paws... let them walk around in the house... the scent of the house will get in the butter .. and in them as they lick it off... and they will not run off....

I was going to suggest that they should have taken the entire door down and brought it with them. Since they got a good offer on the house, they have the money to install a new door for the new owners.

I absolutely love your old house. It's my personal favorite design and just fit you all so well. This smaller place may be new but no where near the character. That written, you all will make it your home and I'm sure be very happy until you make your next move to "your rest of your lives home". Can't wait to see Selena's new bedroom set. She is such a young woman now and not a little girl (though I know she will always be your baby girl). :-)

wherever we lived and no matter how the place we stayed yes you right family is more important than anything, like if we stay at super magnificent house but not enjoying every life moments is useless but stay at small house but we got about life moments is very nice. we learn a lot from your family how to build the connection and keep closer to each other in a family. thanks daddy jay and daddy bryan (like both of you because i lost my dad not die but divorce that impact me a lot because of a bad relationship) so seeing you two can become a medicine for little hurt in my heart. love you and God bless you. once again thank you about all that you've done, even i just a couple of month following your channel but make me learning about "a family".

shit when I read the title I said "oh no now what ?" we've had bad news already with MarkE Miller and Ethan breaking up we didn't need anymore bad news ...good to have you guys on youtube again ..oh I thought you had bought a new house but this is just a rental till retirement time .. PS that was the quickest move I have ever seen ...it only took 1 second to move
