  • Building a face frame assembly table for a kitchen cabinet production line, Woodworking can be slow at times and doing face frames for kitchens its nice to have every advantage. using pneumatic clamps to build fixtures in a wood shop can really speed things up. Air cylinders make great clamps and are really easy and cost effective to use in lots of woodworking jigs and fixtures.

The punchline to this story is that Izzy figured out a way to run the entire factory off of 1 cordless drill !!! :)

Right? In general a useful concept for folks who assemble a lot of things either in a factory or in the garage. Mine won't use pneumatic clamps but it will be useful.

Us less monetized types could build this but use wood cams in place of the air cylinders. A piston under the cam could be used if the rotation caused a problem with the parts moving on the table. A lever are could control all the cams. Now, go build it and do a video for me! Nice project and video Izzy! Jim

I like the design! I built a face frame assembly with slide adjust pneumatic clamps. 4'X8', with a 3" angle iron frame, supported every 12" with 3X3" angle iron. Built it for a friend who wad a custom cabinet builder. Compared to his old table we were able to go from a 75-i0% face frame to about a 98-99% frame. He loved it and it is still in use after all these years......

Some of these other RUclips "Makers" need to quite complaining about declining video views and get out there and start innovating like you are! Well done mate!
