Greedy, thanks for reacting to "Catharsis". I have listened to "Catharsis", the rock version and liked it. When, however, I heard "Catharsis", the acoustic version, I fell in love with it. The ladi-back, almost jazzy vibe of the song, with an acoustic gallop, thrown really hooked me. What a lovely, beautifully paced song it was. After seeing the acoustic version, I had to see more of this wonderful Christmas Okyu-ji. Wow, what songs came out of it. "Sayonakidori", "Page", "At the Drop of A Hat', ""H-G-K", and even "Manners" were incredible. The 2021 ChristmasOkyu-ji album can be bought from the Band-Maid stores.
Not that many bands can make the same song sound different enough to want to play as many times as the original. The concerts and songs remain endlessly entertaining.

I go back and forth between the electric and acoustic versions of Catharsis, but the album version has always been in my top ten. It's off the Conqueror album, all tracks of which are available on their main channel. They're recognizably the same song, but the vibe is completely different. Even if you don't react to it, you should give it a listen.
