Back in the early ‘90s, I went to a concentration camp; and it was a horribly eerie experience. I remember looking at the scratches on the walls, of people keeping track of the days. I also went to Anne Frank’s house, which was also a heavy experience.

What happened there is far beyond my ability to process the how & why of people being able to commit such horrifying atrocities. I know it happened but I cannot fathom how people could have felt justified doing all of those terrible things to innocent & defenseless civilians.
