I'd buy it but I have it since long. One of my favourite games of all time. Random tip: The DLC on highest covenant needs some insight into and understanding of mechanics to beat. Saying since there is billion combinations of clans heroes and units.
I've got about 300 hours. I agree that the DLC is a better game. However, there is already so much to learn with the base game, I think it is better to play it with only the base game a few times first before adding even more mechanics and decicions. Maybe discover all the clans before adding another layer is a good idea?
I hate the STS comparisions, it wasn't evne the first deckbuilder, just the first popular one, hell it copied you know, card decks everything builds upon each other. that's how society works -_-
World of Warcraft wasn't the first MMO either, but that's the one everyone compares to. It kind of makes sense though when you think about it, comparing to the single most well known game in the genre. Makes the comparison easier to understand for the highest amount of people. Why would you compare to a lesser known game if you're only trying to communicate very broad concepts that a comparison with the most well known game cover perfectly fine? Someone is just going to go "I don't know that game" and then you have to compare to the most well known one anyways. Basically I think it's an ease of mass communication thing, not a society thing.
As a UK resident it is nice to see an accurate representation of our long history of combat on public transport services.
Yea this is for sure a fun game. Twists the usual deckbuilding with its own mechanic. Really enjoy it
This video makes me glad no recording of my first run exists 😅
Checked this game out a few months back, got hooked for a week straight!
Only second to the spire of slay. So excited to see you playing MT now! You'll be playing 25 covenant in no time, gl with progression ❤
I've never played a deckbuilder and was thinking to start slay the spire ... but now I might change my mind😅

@TheMuffinBagare truth. Learn the things with base then upgrade later.
This run was so innocent
Why is this train just 1 car with several stories? That really bothers me for some reason
Monster Train is more fun than StS.
