Grub, next time you find yourself struggling vs NE remember that it's simple really. Just get 3 sobi mask and grind oppo down over the course of 25min and hope they dont get mana burn and keeper. Simple
Maybe this is intented since you expect the NE to win yet the game leans towards the Orc winning. Since there is a conflict you much likely keep watching the game instead of skipping to the next video.
Fly has the real Orc warrior mindset, trying to use the brawn to the maximum and leaving the shenanigans more to the side. A real warlord. Thanks for casting the game! Cheers!
That was swept under the rug, because that nibba Moon had (it looks to be, at least) miscalculated. If he harassed the witch doctor with mana burn the healing waves for the raiders would've been reduced in half(at least, even with Sobi masks) and his dryads would've faired better against the raiders.
This super-aggressive style keeps the moonwells low, which is likely a big part of the reason for the orc constantly picking fights like that. That's why he focused on damage with serpent wards, too.
besides alot of luck on the items for shadow, i think one thing to take from flys gameplan is to try to out-damage what the moonwells can heal, not giving them time inbetween fights to refill and even when he attacked(right towards end of night, then 2 during day) very clever way to force them into a bad fight
Mass dryads vs mass raiders *AND snakes...* I wonder who wins... ... Geee... Fly is "SO GOOD !!" -_- P.S. That was sarcasm, if you haven't got it yet. The true implication was: *Moon п00b. :Р* .
16:21 -- what a *POOR heal-wave by Fly...* He healed his BM who was *TOO FAR AWAY from his Raiders* , and thus the Heal-Wave *did NOT "jump" **_TO THEM_* , thus healing the *BM **_ONLY_* , with the suffering raiders not getting any... :/ .
I feel like that panda deny @ 19:30 was what turned it around for good. Imagine the ensuieing battle with panda there, it would've played out diffrent, there was a fairly even trade here and moon was capping that gold biding for time. He needed honestly just more lumber, wisps or shredder in one base fly never visited anyway.
NE lost because demon had immolation instead of mana burn. Immolation is useless. Manaburn would have completely changed those fights (no snakes no heals), while immolation was countered by healing wave, leaving shadow with mana to spare for snakes.
Grubby: Ne op, orc can't come back if he lost his level 3 blademaster also Grubby: Yeah he lost a level 3 blademaster, a level 5 sp, a level 4 blade , and his army twice in the micro game but this is him being aggresive and it's how he won 🤣🤣🤣
Wow what a game. Flys ultra aggression style paid off and grubby had no clue what fly was doing and even thought it was a suicide haha. flys ultra aggressive style put moon off his usual macro style with mass expo and mass dryads. In the end fly unbalanced him so much that he even ran out of wood as NE, and on twisted meadows of all maps. Lol. Grubby really miscalculated the power of NE and ORC.. ie solo DH with immo, panda, and mass dryads vs bm/sh with snakes, and mass raider. Who would have thought that such a matchup on such an old map as TM could still offer new insights even for someone as knowledgeable as Grubby? I remember grubby kept saying even after many fights already that fly could not attack into that immo DH + dryads with just the SH/snakes + raiders alone, but who knew that flys army was actually much stronger. Even vs DH level 6! No one knew but apparently fly did. I also thought that it was a suicidal trade when he lost his whole army and BM but then kept trying to kill panda. Even after be managed to kill the panda I thought that it wasn't worth it and he was just in tilt and going to resign straight after.. but nope. He didn't just resign, but he kept attacking with just the SH and raiders! Then he clowned moon by picking off dryads, moon wells, and even the altar when moons lvl 5 panda was at like 85%! That was the biggest wake up call and fits the saying of "seeing is believing" perfectly since it's one of those things where no one would believe it unless they see it. Even Grubby seeing it for like 3-4 fights already still could not process or accept it for the 5th consecutive fight and still thought fly was insane for attacking into NE base with just one level 5 sh with 4-5 raiders vs lvl 6-7 DH with 5-6 dryads. Lol. Old habits and biases die hard.. Loved the game. This is why Fly is also an OG like grubby. He has his own unique ultra aggressive style which makes his games very fun to watch. from the first speed scroll between creep camps and him creep jacking and getting level 3 before moon, you know it was gonna be an interesting game for sure haha.
Flygogogog orc player kept the high aggression which kept the moonwells low. I think that's a very key thing. Having double sobi mask would be enough. Need more total mana to make it work better. You learn a lot of these things playing Dota lol
My guess is that Fly prefers to be that aggressive vs NE only if he thinks he can keep the moon wells drained. If NE can't regen with moon wells, then they become more like Orc in that they can't heal.
I'm still team manaburn all the way. It has so much more value after 3 minutes. the lack of healing wave and caster mana makes all the difference. It works more vs UD and orc.
I swear all professional Korean gamers have like the most basic ass name, its always 1 or max 2 words with first capital letter and its either a verb or a noun.
Its sick to attack Night Elfs. You are killing them, then suddenly they heal up to maximum. You continue to attack them, and heeling keep happening :D Im not W3 player, but it seems sick for me.
How so? Nelf decided to go dryads, orc scouted that and decided on a counterstrategy and the nelf kept pumping them dryads and it was still kinda close.
Problem is that long-range Siege units other than Mortars (Human) are slow, and they are easily killed by the units they are supposed to counter, and hard to repair, so they rarely get used.
@@DimitrisAlisafakis-vb7jw I guess if you had a mild Food advantage (like unexpectedly break 50 Food while your opponent was trying to bank, and then is still trying to catch up), it could work. If you don't, heroes getting through the Ensnares fairly quickly (while taking reduced damage) might detract too many Ensnares for you to stop all of the countering units, or might do the countering themselves. Would be interesting to see it tried, though. Maybe if you also had a Speed Scroll on each hero to get the Demolishers away from things chasing them until you've whittled down your opponent's army enough so that you don't have to worry about running out of Ensnares . . . .
No, those things are easy target for heroes. In War3 you always need to keep the heroes in mind. Both Panda and DH are excellent in killing demolishers. And having 2 demolishers means 3 less raiders.
Grub, next time you find yourself struggling vs NE remember that it's simple really. Just get 3 sobi mask and grind oppo down over the course of 25min and hope they dont get mana burn and keeper. Simple
Hahahaha
its simple, just punch NE enough until he is K.O.
Orc1: See that Axe?
Orc2: Yes!
Orc1: Good, now take it and chop 40.000 pieces of wood for the warchief
I feel like getting 6 slots of magic immunity potions and just punching the ne over and over again with bm would be fine
Even simpler than that, actually. Just don't play vs. Moon
Did they buff immolation at some point between the game's release and recently? I always thought the ability was a bit of a joke back in RoC.
gg
If not for all that heal and mana regen.. i think NE would of won.
Title: "this is why people are using immolation"
NE: *loses*
NE players are gays
Ahahahaah I was confused too, but it's referring to the fact that people are using immo dh cause Moon was using it
Maybe this is intented since you expect the NE to win yet the game leans towards the Orc winning. Since there is a conflict you much likely keep watching the game instead of skipping to the next video.
well, dem SH items were godlike
He did explain why he used it though

It's crazy how aggressive Fly is. Continuing to poke and instigate after BM dying is something I would never expect to see an Orc player do
Thanks for the cast, Grubby! I believed that Moon won automatically when DH got 6th level!
Was interesting to watch!

What a noob, gets 3 sobi mask without upgrading them to orchid or vladmirs
thats some custom hero joke?

20:54 "Oh no he's gonna lose his whole base. Oh man! And Fly has pillage." :-) same thought
Does grubby quit league ady? 😮
Yeah, for a while he said
Lets go Grubby cast
Thats 3 sobi mask is insane 😂
Wow amazing game! Loved fly’s overly-aggressive attacking style.
Fly vs Grubby! Request match, who is up for it?
I think double beast is just bc the map is big. Something I’ve noticed..
mana burn should never had been a thing. LOL doesn't even has it as it is anti-fun to the core.
I want to play aggressive, but I play UD. I can't harass any race 😅
Grubby thinks every NE vs Orc is Moon vs Lyn :p
Humans need to become beasts before they can play Orcs well.

Yesterday I saw a Gruby in the lobby from the unification mod. Was that you? Or a Fanboy/-girl? 😂
Anyway nice video again!
Grubby, focusing on WC3 is a good approach! if you have a backup plan you won't be so successful.
Flygogogog orc player kept the high aggression which kept the moonwells low. I think that's a very key thing. Having double sobi mask would be enough. Need more total mana to make it work better. You learn a lot of these things playing Dota lol
Haven’t watched WC3 games for a couple of years, but this game by Fly still excites me. Crazy aggressive play and fight to the death! 🎉
After game...3 sobi masks greatly increase the value of burn. Stupid
"he took a really unfavourable educated guess"
is no more...
for now we say:
"he took an educated gamble"

Before game* u crushed this with raider micro. Mana burn better than evasion if opponent is avoiding focusing dh already
Hi Grubby, what kind of keyboard and mouse are you using and why? Is there an episode about your gaming setup? ;)
I swear all professional Korean gamers have like the most basic ass name, its always 1 or max 2 words with first capital letter and its either a verb or a noun.
Why does fly win this. Damn.....I didn't like that. Felt like Moon played so well.
triple sobi mask go brrrr

Triple Sobi on the Shadow Is amazing, that's like infinite Snakes.
That was insane. What a gamers.
Thanks for the cast. Interesting game.
thanks for the cast❤
1st rule of the fly game is, yuou dont talk about fly game 😁 so much fun
3 sobi mask is crazy
I understood for a long time about the dh that the more they attack you, the more chance you have to evade
Why deal with expos when you have obliterate the main base
NE qq in 2024? Yes need the nostalgia
Moon!
Grubby!
What is that cute voice saying when people subscribe? lol
Everybody's laughing! Everybody's happy!
Nice replay and awesome cast!
I thought happy was goat?
imo Moon only trained immolation to avoid ancient of war dieing lol 0:53
He could have easily re-aggroed the creeps off of his AoW if he was really worried about it
🎉
First!
sick
Second!
ggg
Conclusion...
Orc OP.

3:20 just fyi Grubby that Elune's Grace is 20% magic resistance. not 30%
Feels like dreads are made to kill grunts raiders and they cant
If a couple of those Raiders were catapults, and he sieged using snakes and ensnares to repel, rather than go in, wouldn't he do much better harass?
Problem is that long-range Siege units other than Mortars (Human) are slow, and they are easily killed by the units they are supposed to counter, and hard to repair, so they rarely get used.
