Thank you for explaining bow making in detail . I have been playing with ribbon and attempting to make bows. Some turn out great, others not so great. Seeing this I can see where I can improve and customize to my personal preference.

Thank you I’ve watched so many people and tutorials of how to make a bow and this is the first time I’ve seen cutting the slits in the middle. Everyone one else 1/2 turns the ribbon which is where I struggle the most so thank you for that trick I feel like I can make an actual cute bow now.

OMG. I winced when I saw you cut all that wired ribbon! lol. I just watched a couple of more "experienced" (hint, hint) ladies make their bows just before I found your tutorial. They measured and were so precise and traditional. Their bows were beautiful, too, but I was actually looking for the shape you made. I just need to add 4 long tails to trail down the tree. This year I am using my 7-foot white tree because we are moving soon. I love the shape of yours! I'm gonna go make mine now. Thanks so much! Love your eye makeup girl.
