Love your colors....shape is good as well BUT sooooo many ends. You could actually have a few more loops and less ends. I worked for a gift basket company for ten years. Customers would bring in their ribbon for me to make their bows. The owner charged them $6 just for me to make them with customers own ribbon. I made hundreds of bows from early November until Christmas. I love bows .....

Thanks for patiently and methodically going step by step through the process. I have NEVER made a bow EVER. And, the two I made for some Christmas lanterns actually turned out very nice. I'm not ashamed to display them this holiday season...lol

I like the fact you don't have to purchase anything but the ribbon. Most of these videos require bow makers, etc. I usually only decorate for the Christmas season and dont want to make bows the rest of the year. I know I can do this.

I have made bows before but it wasn't looking right so did a search here. I was trying 3 colors together already, so this video was perfect .It turned out great-thanks! I don't want to be one of those people who don't follow the recipe [haha] but made a few tweeks in case others are interested. I ended up with 3 pieces left [1 of each color] in the end, so just added those in. I needed the scale of my bow a hair bigger so did 6 inch loops. Thanks again for making it so easy and soooo cute!

Wow, you just blew all the others on here as I live in a hospital bed in my apartment due to a house fire in Jan. 19th of 2018 after loosing my husband exactly one week after Thanksgiving 2017, unexpectedly! and lived in a shelter for 8 mth's. after the fire where I lost all the trees and years of collecting ornaments as I decorated every room in the house even small themed trees in my bathrooms! Since then I haven't thought about even putting up a tree..till the year but on what I make a month i'd never be able to afford even a tree and the ornaments and lights, but I sit here on a laptop that a friend traded my kitchen aide mixer 1 of the few things to be in the cabinets to survive the fire and all I have done since fall is to watch videos of the beautiful things that they have made constantly and ... my Beautiful one not one comes close to your beautiful bows that I so wish, I am not sure why that I too long to have a tree and so many of the beautiful things I have watched you make i find myself wanting to also make this year! I never know how to do like I used to do hitting all the deals at Micheal's and Hobby lobby and after Christmas I'd have everything I was waiting on to go on clearance at Pier One but today i can't see any of it happening again however i wanted you to know that I crown you the classest and the best at following through on a thought ...until that though was a beautiful finished project! God bless you and all those that you hold dearest to your heart and "MERRY CHRISTMAS"!

Thank you so much for this! I was able to make an amazing Xmas bow for my lantern in about 12 minutes. I wish I could post a pic of it for you to see! Your method is the only one I’ve been successful with! So much better than messing with my wooden bow maker or pinching and twisting the old fashioned way for 20 minutes only to drop half of it. Also, your way makes it way easier to fluff the bow. Thanks again!

Hi I usually try to get rolls that have 10 feet on them. The ribbon can be different widths it does not matter or it can all be the same width. Look in the description box below my video and you’ll see the lengths I cut each ribbon. It really just depends on how big you want your bow to be as to how long you cut the ribbon. Hope this helps.😘

I seem to have a hard time making pretty bows for Christmas Wreaths and other crafts too , so this was a big surprise to have found this episode. I also watched your Christmas tasting candy episode of 2021, Maggie looks so cute in her elf sweater, and i am amazed how she loves wearing it. Most Dogs would want to pull it off! I find all of your topics fun and interesting to watch. Maggie is a cut up who always makes me laugh. Looking forward to more DIYs with Christmas and other holidays too.

Thank you for your lovely bow video. I would like to make a suggestion, though. Why not fold all the ribbon strips in half and pinch it where you want to before you start making the bow? That way you don't have to fiddle with those two steps while you are holding the bow in your other hand? Also, frequently I could not see what you were doing b/c you camera was not positioned properly which was quite frustrating. Otherwise, you bow looks absolutely beautiful!

Hi, no, you are wrong. You fold the strip into and that makes the loop and tails. 😘🐕

I love these bows! I didn't have 3 different patterns at the same time but made one with 1 pattern and a couple with 2 patterns. Anyway, it works great and looks great too! Thanks!
