Had a laugh there when the little guy kept trying to get back over to that 1st netted hair. Just didn't want to get back to work with such a perfectly good prey already caught. Even after putting him into a further burrow hole he popped right back out and right back towards his meal. Ferrets are some wonderful little machines of death.
You need to have at least 10 million subs what a legendary video cameras under ground and capturing rabbit t footage under the ground absolutely amazing
Those who watched this may not see it, but this is the most humane way of removing pests because the use of pesticides is damaging to the environment and could kill the more beneficial species who naturally prey on pests
Thank you for understanding that animals are the best way to handle animals. You don’t need poison, just the natural predator to the target problem. your bottled up videos are really amazing!!!! why don't you upload videos of cooking those rabbits as well?? I am really interested how you cook those rabbits and how to feed them to ferrets!
Good morning Excuse my ignorance... What do you need sometimes to dig to extract the ferret and the rabbit ? And how are you sure that when digging you are not going to hurt the ferret ? Thank you for sharing the images with us, it is a good production.
Will ferrets flush groundhogs..... before you answer, I'm not talking about prairie dogs, I'm talking about Ground Hogs, Woodchucks we have them in many places in North America / USA but I cannot find any information on whether they will or not. Groundhogs can get up to 15 lbs..... but can go as much as 35 lbs. I just wondered what the ferret would do when down the hole and encountered it.... get the hell out? get in a fight? or flush it?
I think a groundhog would stand it’s ground and the ferret would back off. It depends on the preys fight or flight instinct when dealing with things bigger than the ferret itself. I’m not that familiar with groundhogs but from what I know of them, I think at least some would stand their ground.
Some people have modified chainsaws in to smokers to flush animals, often used on rats. Maybe that’s worth a look if there’s a problem you need to deal with.
@@ZeusPolecat We shoot them.... it really is not an issue. My son has been pounding them since he was 10 years old with every size rifle up to a cannon, LOL. I have just been really interested in all these ferreting videos this week... I'm an American hunter and rancher and had never seen such a thing before. So anyhow..... I was just curious on if the ferret would flush a groundhog. I think you are correct..... Prairie Dogs yes, we have Black Footed ferrets in the west that go after prairie Dogs but Groundhogs are BIG.... as in up to 30 lbs.
Ferret: no... No you're going In Guy: please go in Ferret Athena like : mheh alright ..... go's in the tunnel and comes out front behind, You know what you go in too ^-^
It does fall in a bit once I get near, but I’ve never had a problem. Both animals have evolved to dig and manoeuvre around holes like this, they will be fine.
Watch Joseph Carter the mink man, the dude has these mink trained as well as any dog I've ever seen! His minks catch muskrat, squirrel, rabbits, raccoon, geese, shrew, rats, all sorts of stuff! He has pest control contracts with the city, does it for farmers, you name it.
He has affixed a sort of transmitter onto the ferret. He turns it on or at least checks it with the receiver. This is a common practice for many owners of hunting animals, especially dog and/or falcon owners.
Vicious killers, love to sleep inside your coat. You should see what they can do in a prairie dog town. Just the smell of a pet ferret in the house drives rats & mice away.
This proper hunting, none of your firearms bullshit.
I like the no commentary approach, just a hunter about his craft.
Subbed.
Why are predators so adorable? Ferrets, cats, dogs... so fluffy, yet such amazing hunters of pests & varmints. Phenomenal footage.
What about snakes?
@@sh-hg4eg they're also cute have you seen their faces
Awwww the dooking sounds! I don't care what people say ferrets are cute. Just cute predators.

It’s funny how this is like a horror movie the rabbits are putting in hustle while the ferrets just walk after them
So adorable, ferrets make good pets.
I like the net system, I did this many times when much younger netting each hole individually & occasionally you would miss a sneaky escape route.
One ferret catches more rabbits than my entire pack of beagles
Its 11pm I started off with a music video, wtf am I watching 😂🤣🤣 how did I end up here
jose lopez same thing just happened to me 😂 but it’s cool cuz ferrets are so Dope and determined
I hope you give that ferret a good ol roast meal at the end of a big day!
The timing on 5:38 with the loud bang the rabbit flying out was nice. Startled me lmao.

This is what i was thinking as well

Thank you Angelo I never thought of that!
Absolutely this is fantastic

It's like the ferret is doing a SWAT raid on the burrow...
Eww, look at all the fleas on that rabbit's ear at 1:42! Do you guys ever have problems with fleas on your ferrets after they hunt?
Those dooks at 6:00 omg that ferret is having a blast
Finally, a video without the bullshit
the way you use that mink is outrageous wew
It's not a mink and it's not outrageous.
run rabbit run it looks really good fun nice ferret good pets
Very well done! This is fun to watch!
Heck yea man, love watchimg this
your bottled up videos are really amazing!!!!
why don't you upload videos of cooking those rabbits as well??

You should upload more often your ferreting videos are awesome keep up the great work
Thanks. I do try. It's seasonal, weather doesn't always suit filming and other days I just have bad luck.

Just love your videos mate, easily the best on youtube👍👍
These videos are great. Nice camera work inside the holes.
I don't think there is a smaller and more intelligent animal than this little ferret guy...
Such a fab viddy, that fert is a great worker.

Do the rabbits bite when you get them like this
Never been bitten but I don’t give them a chance to.The ferrets have never had a wound either.
these ferrets are so cute
nice videos but 1 thing how they become sleep after once you catch them aur killed by some thing please explain ....
They snap the necks when they pick them up.
Isn't there a risk the tunnel may collapsed on rabbits and ferrets, when you dig a hole?
It does fall in a bit once I get near, but I’ve never had a problem. Both animals have evolved to dig and manoeuvre around holes like this, they will be fine.
Curious where this is? And can I ask about his collar? What is the box on it?
Scotland. It’s a tracking collar. I’m using the orange device near the end to find where the ferret is.
So this is how Mr. Mcgregor caught Peter Rabbit
Give that Ferret a Medal!
0:28 that is a cute fat bee
We raised ferrets when I was kid trained ferret will feed ya plenty of rabbit when times are hard
Nice dog.
When he digs I'm always afraid that he might hit one of his ferrets
Are you using more than one ferret?
Teamwork would be nice and one ferret won't be too tired and over worked
Agree time and effort put to this was amazing well done buddy, nice if this worked on the scum on the uk streets.
when I live in Russia and find out about scum in the UK: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Owner: I’m tired ot these rabbits
Pet: hold my nuts
¿Como carajo pone la cámara tan adentro? ¿después para sacarla?
Lucas Cifuentes nose
imagine seeing that at 3:07 from the rabbit's perspective
What kind of collar do you have on the ferret?
Deben MK3m. Tracking collar.

What’s that thing you used when you first took the ferret out
Locator collar that allows me to find the ferret. That was me switching it on.
how do i get one of these ferrets/pole cats..??
Use a big hob and prepare for much digging. Small white gill for me.
Buenos bichos y rápidos ❤
what does he do to the ferret every time before it hunts the rabbits
Ulisses Avelar it's a GPS tracker, at least I think
He has affixed a sort of transmitter onto the ferret. He turns it on or at least checks it with the receiver. This is a common practice for many owners of hunting animals, especially dog and/or falcon owners.
Mają coś konkretnego na obroży? Czy to tylko pasek?
that was CLASS mate
Brilliant as always roll out some more
You should train your ferret to operate a GoPro and unleash the killer paparazzi on the rabbits.
turkey izmirden very iy video greetings
Waht bekoms the herelin for the work?
what is that beep-beep device ?
Tracking collar. Allows me to find the ferret.
@@ZeusPolecat Zeus Polecat aha, so this is the reason why the ferret is wearing a necklace.
Nice sir

I couldn't imagine going ferreting with out my dogs now ,especially when one slips the net an runs right over the field to next hedgerow.
gute Arbeit!

I'm sorry, where was this filmed? Canada? USA?
Scotland
Pretty cool
Can you fix a small camera on hunter body?
I’ve been trying. It’s difficult so I’ve not had any usable footage yet.
Ferrets are streamlined for this hunting adding something to their body will not be likely.
Xren Xren Wren
So cute
I fucking love ferrets
they eat or sell the rabbit
??
Both. Ferret food is priority.
1 how do u get cams down there 2 why snapthere neck
rico falaskez 1. For great footage 2. Most humane way to kill them
Snaps their neck because he doesn't want to eat them alive?? logic!
Sylvian iets ok just curious
What's area is this
Scotland
