Thnx
I wish all DIY videos were as good as this. Very clear instructions!
You’re an absolute angel for thinking of the public and making these awesome videos. Thanks to you I was able to change these lights by myself! Thank you thank you!!!! You’re awesome!!!
Straight to the point, no fluff, super simple. Thank you!!
We a ton of these in our new house, and very glad to see the swap out process is easy. Great tutorial!
Thank you so much for this video! You just helped me switch my light bulbs in the kitchen and I didn’t think it was that easy!😅 Have a wonderful day
I was going crazy trying to figure out how to change my eyeball spotlight bulb, and this is the only video on the subject that helped! Thanks!
THANK YOU! Wish my handyman saw this before he tore up my ceiling... I was able to easily replace a bulb myself just now with your tutorial.
Thanks, I had never changed one of these bulbs and was stumped. Your video made it very clear and easy to do.
We’ve been living with ONE bulb left in our kitchen after moving to this house 3 years ago and my husband never being able to figure this out. I just did them all! THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🎉🤩💃🏻😅
Won't he be surprised! Love it. These buggers are tough to figure out. Down to one light left in my kitchen and decided it was time to look into it. This video is great.
Our lights have been out for over a year. I thought I was breaking the light. I appreciate this so much!!!!
That's awesome!
Very helpful! I don’t think I would’ve been able to change the lights if I didn’t find this video thank you!
Super helpful, thanks for the video! I’ve had bulbs out for years because I couldn’t figure out how to change them 😂😂😂 yet another quarantine chore checked off the list!
Thanks for the clear, straightforward instructions, free of the gobbledegook of other videos, which are also often missing essential information.
After watching many videos yours is the one that helped! Thank you!
My spotlight is circa 1991, not the same installation as yours. Thank you for your video anyway as it did clue me to pry this thing out of my ceiling. Then cutting it free of wires. Everything I tackle seems to evolve into phases. Phase two will be disassembling and examining this beast to satisfy my curiosity about how anyone could have designed this mess. I've already concluded that it likely took an entire team of genius federal regulators.
I get it, good luck k
Thank you! Finally figured out what to do because of your video.
The only good video on how to do it, thanks! I don't understand how so many other videos had so many likes
Thank you, this definitely help a lot replacing two bulbs that were burn out for months. I was about to get rubber suction cup to pull it outward.
Ha ha! Been struggling to remove the inside portion to get to the light and could not get it out. Saw you taking off the whole outer part and did the same. Switched my light in literally seconds. Genius!
thank you! Could not figure that out, and didn't want to break anything. you saved me a $70 electrician bill! 🙂
This tutorial is EXACTLY what I needed, thank you! About 2 months ago, all of the lights in my bathroom & kitchen started to go out one by one. I attempted to replace myself and even did a lot of research online but couldn't figure out how to remove the bulb. So i've been living with a good amount of my lights having a new (working) bulb just dangling out of the ceiling with exposed cord (classy, lol) and a bunch of others simply burned out. Due to COVID, my apartment building does not allow maintenance orders other than for emergencies. Well, 30 minutes ago yet another bulb in my kitchen burned out and I decided to do some digging on youtube again and FINALLY found your video. Apparently this mount must be rare, can't thank you enough!
OMG that is exactly what is happening in my basement. I have a good 10 bulbs out and 1 that is hanging by the bulb. lol Girl, we got this. :)
Perfect! 67 y.o. woman just completed the bulb replacement.
Thank you soooooo much! Made switching the bulb so easy.
thank you!!!! this was honestly a life-saver.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video!
Thanks, I terrified of anything electric😅 couldn’t get one of mine out, you are a godsend.👍🌻
Took me 2.5 years to change 2 downlight bulbs, kept putting it off…Watched your video and changed them in 2 seconds, thank you! Wish I’d done it sooner 😣
Super simple and straight to the point then you sir.
Definitely helpful and straightforward.
A 71 year old who was stumped as to how to replace a bulb 😂
Was afraid to grab hold of the edges for fear of breaking the unit. Again, thanks for the video, finally after living in the apartment for 2 years.
Awesome, good for you🎉
Thank you so much for this! I was able to easily change my spotlight lightbulb after this simple tutorial!!

Thank you. So simple when you know how.
Oh my god THANK YOU! I have been trying to change the lightbulb in my bathroom for two days!
Yay
Thank you.
I've taken the bracket off the ceiling vut I can't dislodge the bulb from the bracket.
I'll take it down to Bunnings (Home Depot) tomorrow and ask for help.
I need to buy a replacement bulb anyway.
Outstanding!!! Thank you so much!!!

Super helpful! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I was wondering whether I could get rid of the bright halogen and switch it to something else. The halogen bulb I have is way too bright and casts an ugly light. I'll try an EcoSmart LED.
THANK YOU! This video has been very helpful!
Awesome👍
Thank you! You saved me a lot of aggravation and time!

YES!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you my good man. What a pain i n the you know what to figure out.
it was really useful
Thanks!
Thank you
I didn't know how change those lights bulbs, now I know.
Thanks
Omg i am having a hard time keeping the bracket or mount up on the ceiling. Where did you get these clip wings at? Think that will help me.
You should be able to get a replacement, take old one with you to supply store if your not sure
Thanks :)
No problem
Was wondering if you could help me figure out why my light fixture doesn’t pop back into the ceiling. My figure looks exactly the same as yours except it does not have the two metal pieces I see in your fixture.
The 2 metal pcs are what wedge the light into the ceiling can...do you have the name or manufacturer of your fixture? I can look it up
@@GetToThePointplz123 thanks so much for getting back to me! I don’t have the manufacturer because it came with the home. My fixture has no spring, no metal pieces whatsoever. Is there a way I can send you a picture to show you what it looks like?
@@Jenkim91 how did it come out?
@@GetToThePointplz123 I just pulled it down. There’s nothing broken for sure it just won’t pop or twist back in.
@@Jenkim91 you'll have to contact a local lighting company or electrician to help you further
If they are halogen bulbs, what wattage should the bulb be? I have 50 W right now.
The old bulb should have watts printed on it somewhere, I would take old one to store with you and get the LED equivalent...they last longer and don't get hot. The max wattage might be printed inside the fixture sometimes too
Do you know if it's possible to place a light fixture in there instead of adding in a new bulb?
I wouldn't be able to say without looking at what you have and what you want to put in its place, probably have to call your electrician to look at it
I could figure out how they pop out. But how do you replace them when they are on a ceiling 16 ft up?
You can rent a 10 or 12 ft step ladder
Ok so with the heat shield it won't connect so it won't fit turn on. If I take the heat shield off it goes on.. so is it safe to just not use that heat shield?
If you use an LED replacement bulb you can lose the shield, if you're still using the halogen bulb you probably shouldn't ( halogens get extremely hot, leds do not )
@@GetToThePointplz123 thank you. I just wanted to make sure. 👍🏼
How do i convert an eyeball light to a pendant light??
Remove eyeball fixture, no way to convert
@@GetToThePointplz123 so there is a box in there once you remove it. What im asking is if i can use the box for pendant or i have to run new cables etc
If its an electrical box yes, if it's just the housing for the eyeball probably not. If there's access to the wires inside said "box" and you can connect and mount new fixture safely then yes
bulb too hot
Be careful with those halogens
Thank you!
Thank you
Thanks!
