You should consider placing a sign shaped like the silhouette of a fish vertically above the sign that says "Seafood Emporium" on the right-hand side of your model. That way it would add some interest to the empty space created by the rooftop access... Thanks for another great video. Cheers.
Jason. I vert much enjoy your content. When I see a Disney ad I immediately close youtube. Think about it. Better than 50 percent of America understands this.
Hi ya Jason. I watched on my TV. So I late in leaving a comment. Beautiful build as always. I very much look forward to it’s placement on the pier you will be building. See ya then.
I was hesitant about the Stains from BEST, but let me tell ya. Once you've used them, you'll want to use them more and more. My favorite is Old Barn Wood.
Hello Jason, Another very interesting montage, and, yesterday while making a "fosscalemodels" montage, I realized that the colors used on the plans corresponded to those of the different wooden strips. Maybe you could explain it in a future video. Thank you again for the dream moments you bring us.
Thank you so much Michel!!! I have talked about the different colors on the end of the strip wood and how it corresponds to the chart and instructions provided in Foscale kits. I will mention it again in a future video. Thank you so much for watching!!! 👍
Question… at about 3:30 you describe your technique with the murky brown as just dipping The brush without shaking the bottle there are other times you use similar techniques for dunking and not shaking etc. how do you control the product over time with such a large bottle?
Thank you so much Cesar!!! I prefer using Ammo because of how consistent they are with the colors. I haven’t found another company that the paint color is ALWAYS the same, meaning that every bottle of old rust (for example) matches perfectly no matter how many bottles you buy, and it’s always the same thickness.
I really like the Ammo dry brush paints. The great thing is that the bottles will last for years since it’s so thick and you use so little. I highly recommend them. Thanks for watching!!! 👍
Great looking build as usual, I have a question in one of you other videos you showed how to weather different roof details ( which I use now all the time) On this build , Maybe I missed it but looks like you used less , did you use shadow rust ? It could be in the other video on rusting you used pieces with a grey base. Looking forward to the next step.
Thank you so much Will!!! And thank you for noticing the rust. I always try to do different techniques on the rust because I don’t want all the rust to match. As always, thanks for watching! 👍
The pigments in dark stains usually settle to the bottom so if you want it to be lighter don’t shake the bottle, and don’t dip your brush to far in. Thanks for watching Lynn!!! I always appreciate it! 👍
I first painted the windows to look like wood then sponge on a dark brown. I then glued clear plastic and window shades in and then glued them on the structure. I didn’t show that because I’ve shown that in SO MANY videos. Thanks for watching!!! 👍
Another beautifully weathered and designed building.
Thank you so much James!!! I really appreciate it! 👍
You're welcome, Jason.

I was hesitant about the Stains from BEST, but let me tell ya. Once you've used them, you'll want to use them more and more. My favorite is Old Barn Wood.

Well done as usual. When I was involved in the hobby I could have used your expertise. I'll look forward to the installation video.
Thank you so much!!! I’m excited to get it on the layout! Thanks for watching!
nice thanks man
Thank you Joe!!! 👍
Another great build and building, however, I think you missed something! No coffee available at Deckers?! ;-)
Thank you so much Davie!!! I will seriously be correcting that as soon as possible. Thanks for pointing that out. MUST HAVE COFFEE!!!! 👍

Great video Jason thank you, What you think about Vallejo's paints ?
Cesar.
Will you be making more residential buildings? I'm interested in what kits are available and what you create with them.
I will possibly do apartment builds but no individual homes. Thanks for watching Thomas!!! 👍
What do you think about the Ammo dry brush paints? Is it a thicker consistency or what's going on there?
I really like the Ammo dry brush paints. The great thing is that the bottles will last for years since it’s so thick and you use so little. I highly recommend them. Thanks for watching!!! 👍

Jason have you ever done a Comic Shop as one of your buildings?
No, but that’s a great idea!!! 👍 Thanks for watching Jay!
QUESTION: Why didn't you shake the bottle of Shadow Gray?
The pigments in dark stains usually settle to the bottom so if you want it to be lighter don’t shake the bottle, and don’t dip your brush to far in. Thanks for watching Lynn!!! I always appreciate it! 👍
What year are you modeling on your layout? (Era)
Loosely based in the 30s and 40s. I just model what I like so I’m not to serious about it. Thanks for watching!
Hmm, did you really paint the window frames over the top of the walls. That's an excellent way of getting spatter on your walls I guess.
I first painted the windows to look like wood then sponge on a dark brown. I then glued clear plastic and window shades in and then glued them on the structure. I didn’t show that because I’ve shown that in SO MANY videos. Thanks for watching!!! 👍
