Anda on top form as usual with the Mozarteum. His passiing was a sad loss.

Este concierto junto con el 20 y el 27, para mi, son los conciertos para piano y orquesta más hermosos del grandioso W. A. Mozart

A perfect interpretation of this beautiful but poorly known concerto for piano dating from the maturity of Mozart. Note the insistance of a rythmic pattern in the first movement and the sudden intervention of counterpoint in some points of the finale.

although I do find johan bach to be more regal and relaxing, and Beethoven being more dissonant and dark. I have to say mozart beats them all. his use of majors is so uplifting and energetic. it's like a thrashing wave calm and graceful but mighty and scary.

Mozart, Mozart, Mozart. It is enough just to pronounce his name to cast the spell.

This concerto extremely hard to figure out due to the constant passagework present in the first movement. Anda does very well in making the harmonizing stand out. Aside from the first theme, everything else feels transitional. It comes off as something both monothematic yet with distinct motifs....
