this record changed my life in '87!!! I remember taking it home based on the cover alone!!! I knew nothing about the silos, but that cover man. the picnic, the sunglasses... something about it screamed at me that i should own this. Got it home, dropped the needle, and had my mind blown.
We went on tour together in 1989 I believe. We were opening, so I had the privilege of watching the show for two week succesively... we also went sight seeing together made a stop at Dachau (the infamous WW2 Concentration Camp). They were incredibly good, especially the combination Walter S--H. + Bob Rupe, playing mostly material from the Bird-Album...
One of my concert-going highlights was being able to see The Silos in a small club with Mary playing violin with them. An extraordinary evening, one I consider myself extremely lucky to have seen. Saw them twice more, but nothing beats that first time with the original band.
I booked this band 37 years ago and they still stand up. WAY ahead of their time.
Where?
I bought this when it came out and as soon as I heard it,I was hooked.Absolute fun times and great band from my youth.

Nice to see this again - was one of my favorites back in the day.
RIP John.

Good find.
C'EST pas mal ce groupe!!!
I had tickets to see these guys but their tour van broke down that day.....bummer.
first time I heard this song, it scared the hell out of me....dont know why...
It always made me feel like i was driving down a dark winding road in foggy rain with no brakes. I love it.
It’s like a spring that exact second before it breaks apart and unwinds
An example - you'll notice that Mary R. is still playing her violin long after her solo has ended. :)
@logan787681 John Galway brother - left us 1995. RIP
I still listen to the psycho daisies and the eggs all the time.
OK - now that I've viewed it again - the audio and video are not in sync. The video seems to be a few seconds behind the song.
@logan787681 That's pretty cool! Your dad is a great musician.
Mary got married
