- I asked A.I. to make me a DBZ Episode based on the trolley problem. Will Goku sacrifice 1 life to save the lives of 5 others?
How was this made? I used Open AI's GPT-2 AI model via talktotransfor... & then paid an animator to best interpret the story the AI Generated. This story is the result of feeding the GPT-2 AI the very first sentence, then I cherry picked the best one that had a resolution, any resolution, to the trolley problem.

Goku & Vegeta see a trolley coming, problem is, if they switch the rail it will kill 1 person instead of five, so they

switch both rail's. Goku is reluctant to do this but, unfortunately for him, he needs to do it or they will only save 4 people instead of 5. She reminds Goku he has to be a hero for everyone, after a brief moment of hesitation Goku reluctantly takes the first person that comes to mind, and the train explodes. She later tells Vegeta she is glad he noticed him just in time. After Super Saiyan Vegeta returns to normal, he believes that this was the result of Goku's training and that now he will be able to save everyone. Vegeta says he did the right thing and that this is an official Kai, therefore he decides to go search for the rest of them.

Not exactly about the next episode, but I think it would be very cool to use AI to colorize manga. I know that they can colorize old photos, and it would be interesting to see if you (or I for that matter) could build a model to do that with just the limited color text on the covers and bonus material. Could be a fun project that drives value for a whole community!

A while back I thought of a game design I called mother. It was simple. It worked with a camera. You would have the world build itself with a ai engine based off of facial expressions and a energy gifting mechanic. Good emotions or gifting energy allowed the creatures to move. They would all be independent ai bots. The world would give off energy the more you played it combined with how happy you were. All the nets would then be sent back to a server where they would be stored. Then sent out to new players. The base storyline would you just being a space mother trying to give life to a world. I didn't write it out because of its proclivity to create straight up porn.
The problem with the ai used these days is the amount of training and processing power. The mind and your machines are on different scales. If there ment to seem kind of dumb but trying it comes off in a different way. More of a cute response.
There are challenges but all the pieces to the game I mentioned work independently. It basically runs itself. Like I said though I ment it as a fun kids game, but if you give something the ability to look like you want... poof porn, and it would take one funny glance to change a word.

tbh I feel like I've seen dozens of "scripts written by AI" and they're kinda boring at this point, like talking to Cleverbot
Though if you really want to do more with it, maybe something like Cowboy Bebop - have it write a replacement last episode - or anything that ended abruptly or never finished
If you're looking for new ML projects, a few ideas tho...
1. Weather prediction. Yeah this sounds boring, but there's tons of data. Plus it'd be funny to do it poorly, like model it based on Temperature alone on a simple model, then predict the end of the world when your model inevitably spikes. I imagine it being set up with TTS to read out the temp every day as like an alarm clock. "Good morning. Today it will be: 9 9 9 9 ... Celsius. Please dress appropriately"
2. Cleverbot integration... I know I was trashing it. But you can throw this on any existing AI and probably come up with some great content with the conversations/responses, especially if you use TTS and also speech to text for yourself. Bonus points for making two cleverbots and making them talk to eachother with TTS
3. Cleverbot duplication? Cleverbot's old, and there have been huge advances in ML since then. What if you made your own? You even have the audience size that could 'train' it for you, since I believe cleverbot was mostly trained just by letting users chat at it
4. Music generation. This one's kind of a classic and has been done before, but rarely done well, and it's kinda mindblowing when a computer can make better music than (some) people. Also, you could use that music generation to make DMCA-free music for your videos. Though you'd have to be careful because if you trained on copyrighted songs, it could end up with enough bits of the song in there that YT's algo might pick it up anyway
5. (More) art generation. It's been done (even by you already, if you count the pokemon), but there's still a lot more that can be done. It could actually be combined with the script-writing maybe - either something that converts these sorts of drawings to a cartoonish DBZ style. Or... and this probably isn't very possible. But I know classification algorithms are really good, and I'm under the impression that can even be reversed to take text input and output a (creepy) image. Imagine feeding something like that your script

I think a good idea about some next episode will be a collaborative project like a hackathon proposal with your community around the “ai for good “ flag
I follow you since some times now and have great time whatever you post , but I personally prefer when I learn something out of it I feel I can use .
I know there is other great channels more specific and focus about learning how to do ai already recommend by yourself but as someone deeply passionate about open source, I believe in crowdsourcing and crowd design power to make big things happen faster
This passion drove me to quickly learn bit of English , 3D design , Unity3d ,3D print skills and so on but without clear directions .
I feel like ai could be a big missing piece to make something useful out of all this knowledge puzzle but also feel that trying to learn and do all alone isn’t a good and realistic way to achieve things correctly .
Perhaps I’m not alone out there and that bring me this idea :
Why not make an open challenge to all of your followers to show you what we can do ( not only focus on ai skills please ),
Then challenge us to a collaborative project with you as a captain ?
