There are no words to express what this woman brings to Show Business.. SHE IS SHOW BUSINESS! Liza is one of the few living representatives of a bygone era of entertainment and performance.
Yes❤️
💗💗💗
She said she never sings her Mom's songs because Judy said Always be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else. Liza is great. The London Palladium concert with her and Judy is the best, a break out performance! Thanks for decades of entertainment!
She can be seated and still take the entire stage... Just the best.
Who can do that? She sits down and commands the stage. You are so right,
She can lay down on the floor and still take the whole stage. ❤️❤️❤️
For her health conditions she does well
Hip surgery and then she had something like a stroke and they said she'd never talk again ...but she did ... worked hard to overcome ...I love it when people fight to come back and no self pity
I am not crazy just old, she begins. What an artist!
Amazing she could sing this song with all it's demands sitting down.
I love how she's so aware of how fabulous she is she knows she can sit down to preform one of, in my opinion, her best and strongest numbers and still completely kill it!!
Moving how a voice changes in time and still can be so strong.. touches me.
So much like her mom ... such a marvelous talent
THIS is what a real performer IS. We love you Lisa.
@@dorenechase6614 LIZA!
I actually think she is more unique and flamboyant than her mother. She is much like her mother though. Love her looks & her name.
@@annemccarron2281 I find the older Liza gets, the more I see Judy in her.
There are times when you catch a glimpse of her mother's voice. Not an easy song to do sitting down. Here's to one of the last true divas
singing while sitting, I call dificult. Like dancing, and singing at the same timed God bless her
All Liza's performances make me teary, because you can always catch glimpses of genuine emotions there.
One of the greatest performers of all time. If you have never seen Liza, go see her, I promise you leave a Fan.
Liza's a Winner .. and what a Woman !
Unbelievable performer! I saw her at the Hollywood Bowl and she was amazing, I left mesmerized with her performance 😊
I have just been watching this amazing human being for the first time and as I am older I see the vulnerability, the genius, the humanity in her - what a performer, what a human, what a woman...wow she is absolutely astounding...thank you Ms Liza!
Saw her in concert several times in the early 70s. She and Bette Midler worked harder than anybody I've ever seen doing concerts. Really always gave it their all.
Better Midler I adored but her politics are too hateful refuse to watch her now. I was shocked to see how vicious she was with DJT.
You feel the emotions
She's so awesome. My favorite song from her. cabaret was the first Broadway show I saw as a young girl.. Memories. She's timeless ❤️❤️
Sing it beautiful ...love her humour!
Agreed! Simply one of the greatest entertainers of all times.
number one...no doubt about that
I discovered this album 2 weeks ago in such an awful time in life. This is one of the most inspiring songs I’ve ever heard n has made it all bearable. Imagine being so talented that your voice makes a random young gal’s life worth living so long after originally performed. Insane.
Thanks Liza.
What magical woman. Out of this world talent.
One of the most incredible fucking pieces of music ever made my lord
I might be singing to the choir here, but if you haven't already, watch Cabaret (1972). She performs this song along with a bunch of others there and let me just say... if her performance of Maybe This Time here moved you, the one in the movie will devastate you.
She's still amazing and a true LEGEND. Who is left?
Shine on, Liza!!
Absolutely effing amazing....wow
I seriously cannot stop watching this! So beautiful
Wow ! I've seen her twice now in concert... Even got to meet her the second time ( *amazing*) But, I've yet to see Liza sing this song.... Maybe next time....
She has to be the most down-to-earth celebrity I'd ever had the pleasure of meeting. It was a long time ago, she was married, pregnant (which later she miscarried) and working on a movie with Burt Reynolds in Chicago. She knew me as 'Crash', the crew member from transportation who came in to get the bathroom plumbing in her trailer hooked up.
That's great to hear.
She seems like a nice person.
I forgotten a thing about Liza, she is one of best singer ive ever heard in my life,She have it all.deepness in her voice, its incredible,
Amazing star! Liza's got the joy and delightful sparkle of Betty White (Rose from the Golden Girls) in this fantastic number. Wonderful! XXX
I saw her three times and the last time was in 2012. She had to sit down and sing but she sang her heart out and enjoyed every second of it she was amazing
What a fucking LEGEND I mean will there ever be anyone quite like her
Love you Liza !
She is a fabulous lady. SO Much respect for her
The magnificent Liza!!
The ONE and ONLY LIZA! ❤
I have always admired this woman. her mom was a great talent. I personally think Liza is even better, Judy would be proud of her. Great singer for sure. Love you Liza, I am one of your best fans. :)
Goosebumps! I got teary eyed in the last half of the performance. The Liza magic on stage is still there at this advanced stage of life and career. A front runner indeed in show business.
Thank you so much, Babe! I was a winner to meet you :D
i saw her in this show....it was flawless....
You just have to love her! Judy's baby girl.
Thanks for sharing. Saw her show "live" many years ago. She's one of THE BEST!!!!!!
I LOVE you Liza !!! Thank you for
the Best version anyone will ever sing !!
Amazing What a great voice Love her
What a wonderful voice
so happy that she is still terrific! God bless, Liza!
J'adore. Je n'arrives pas à l'écouter sans avoir les yeux qui coulent.
Such a wonderful talent. Nothing’s seems to stop her ❤️❤️
I LOVE HER!
great artist...
She is so much like her mother, holy
Eternal respect and gratitude. Gracias, Liza.
Awesome!
Eso es una artista!
Isidro Moreno She always will be!
@JoshuaTaylor You met Liza in person? WOW! XD. You are so lucky. I'm so jealous. When I saw her in concert I was sitting right up front, very close to the stage. I could see every move she made. It was amazing. She has this awesome energy that just fills the whole venue she's performing in. There was about 4000 or more people there and her voice touched every one of them. The crowd loved her and she loved us. She was so sweet and kind. I love Liza :)
She is fantastic, a true entertainer
grande dame , humble !!! fabuleuse ! Lisa always in my heart !! ! thanks Miss L!isa !!!
Liza is simply the best !I love all of her songs and movies !
To paraphrase what her mother Judy Garland sad to the British crew at the end of I Could Go On Singing "You are going to miss me when I've gone." Ronald Neame said Judy drove them crazy during the making of the film but yes he always missed. The world will never see another Judy nor will we ever see another Liza. jxxxx
or Lorna x
Shes Judy all over
I love her❤🎉🎉🎉
I'm not a Liza fan for the most part but this song sung by her gets me every time.
maravillosa
@tolkienfan51 welcome to the party! she's a thrilling performer time after time after time.
Com sempre, com mai... GENIAL!
Eterna Liza!
God bless a wonderful performer. Always magnificent!
Fabulous! I love how she is totally off the song timing and tempo and somehow still makes it entertaining. well done.
@Lindow Liza doesn't lip synch... The video isn't perfectly aligned with the audio, but she does all of her vocals live, trust me.
Maybe her voice has lost lost some of its strength, but her performance alone is worth studying for today's performers who lipsync on stage and think they can get by with just a couple of beats and repetitive non-sensical lyrics. Liza is a performer in the true sense of the word. Fully committed to the lyrics and the moment and giving it her all!
Best ever.
I love you Liza!
Love her xxx
Pure pure love
GOOSEBUMPS head to toe!
I think theres noboby who can sing and act the way like Liza Minelli makes it,She a star.thats it
Lisa you don't look old.
You look stunning.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Liaza is My guuuurl.
@Lindow Its true. I recognised it on some other videos from this concert too... She didnt lip-synched whole songs, but some parts of them...Difficult parts, endings etc. For example, you can see little bit of lip synching in Cabaret which she sang at this concert. But I think, that its allright for her. Shes a legend and concert is simply marvelous! (sorry about my english)
Мужественная . красивая талантливая умная Мы тоже тебя любим в России
My Liza...
i would love to see liza in concert...maybe if i win the lottery hahaha...shes the best
@Lindow :O! Liza does NOT lip synch!
I laughed the second it started 😅 I love Judy garland daughter
💖
@JoshuaTaylor You know, I saw Liza in 'Cabaret' before seeing her in concert and loved her but after seeing her perform live I was blow away and became a devoted Liza Minnelli fan who's collecting every concert DVD of hers ever made :P.
Have you seen her French concert 'Aznavour/Minnelli' that she did with Charles Aznavour? It's great! I might put her clips from that on RUclips :)
What a masterclass in performance skill. Also, this song is atrociously hard to sing, let alone sitting down.
She reminds me of Louis Armstrong ♥️
I love this!! And anyone pointing out the fact that some of her vocals on the climax are dubbed over... that's what happens in concert DVDs!! So what if it's from the album version?
This is not an easy song to sing not when ur that old haha increíble
@tolkienfan51 Aww, well I am very happy that I have converted you into a fan :)
1:21
Is that Liza's Labrador, in the background center?
evviva!!! 70 bday 12 III '16
I agree but in the case of Joni Mitchell (whom I adore) I think the change in her voice has been for the better - there is so much more emotional heft to Both SIdes Now in the later recordings than the earlier for example.
@AntinousIsGod1 no really she is... watch when she pulls the mic away on "everybody loves a winner" around 2:19 or so in... she pulls the mic away before the note is finished....
Sure, the concert was 100% life, but for the DvD, they made corrections and Liza lip-synched few parts of some songs. It was life, and some pieces didnt came out as she wishes to...Its nothing bad, common practice...If you will listen closely, you will recognize parts where she sang live and parts recorded in studio just from the background noise..For example 3:01 "Maybe this time" (studio), 3:05 "maybe this time" (live), and "I'll win" is again studio recording..Also watch at 2:51 "to begin"..
you kno wen u hear her tlk u can almost her judy
Yes the last part was a playback, and I understand, but she still is an AMAZING ARTIST!
I'm here because of Julia Faith Joaquin
Kennedy Center what's the deal?! Come on already!
