Hi Joshua, Thank you so much for posting this video! I'm new to your channel and just subscribed! My husband and I have been looking for the right Japanese maple to add as a feature tree on the side of our house and this looks ***perfect***! The colors for each season are exactly what we're looking for! I would love to see an update video on how it is growing. Also, what type of soil/fertilizer did you add when planting? Looks awesome! Can't wait to see more on your channel!
Protect the trunk of that tree. I planted the same tree and being inexperienced, I did not cover the trunk and the wildlife (some animal) messed it up, broke branches and peeled the red bark almost killing it. Mine was about the same size and yours. Luckily, the tree is resilient and started growing shoots and I’m re-growing it from the shoots. Now I put up some protection.
Hey Joshua, great choice. You will love the new spring growth. Thanks for your positive spirit.
I’m looking forward to it! And thank you, I try to bring some positivity into this world 😁
What an amazing year-round ornamental tree! It definitely goes nicely with the adjacent evergreen holly shrubs.

Hi Josh. Hope all
Is well. Whenever you get the chance, please provide an update on this tree. I really want to plant one for myself. TY!
When I make it back to RI I’d love to give a garden tour of how everything is doing!

Good tip! Looking at planting the same tree and would've never thought of that issue...
How is this tree doing?
