Julio Iglesias met her on the Tonight Show, and gave her her first big break. He loved her so much, that he offered her the opening act of his concert tour in the United States. And that’s what made her so famous because, through those massively attended concerts, she was got great exposure. I remember attending a Julio Iglesias concert at the Universal Amphitheater a few months after this show was aired, and she opened, the concert and of course, I remembered that they had been on the Carson show and that Julio had laughed pretty laughed at her jokes. The offer, of course, must have come backstage, but I had put two and two together, and now that has, of course, become rather common knowledge. They are still both very very fond of each other, and Julio is now 80 years young.
Her first and this appearance is nearly a decade apart. Considering this world, I doubt many remembered they heard it before. She was much more confident in this one.
She thinks literal lizards are controlling the world now, she's gone the way of her mother which is super sad because she used to talk about how her mother was insane and a conspiracy freak and that she was terrified of losing her mind in that way. Super fucking sad story.
It was smart, actually. Roseanne thought that her stand-up time would be cut off but they kept allowing her to perform because the audience loved it. So, she pulled out more jokes she had off the top of her head to keep momentum. It's smart. And here you thought you, "got one over on her." Pathetic...
Every comic dose that did you know jokes were copyrighted if she was to use one of Joan Rivers jokes she could be sused .... it's no more different than Joan Rivers making an Elizabeth Taylor joke all the time
Nightingale Amadeus yeah people today would probably find 1 thing she said out of the whole routine to whine and cry about. People today are so sensitive.
JY008 I think FOR THAT TIME it was new and different but it's hard to tell because comics steal jokes from each other. Today you really have to up your game to become famous. There are many good comics out today. I have a great sense of humor and an easy laugh and I barely laughed at this. LOL that's the one thing that makes me laugh.
So adorable idk what it is, she smiles with her eyes

She cleaned up really well since 1985 when she was on the first time.
It's easy to clean up when you had the money she had then.

Love you Roseanne
The national anthem you song was the best, because it was real.
Classic!
That’s a lot of brass
She is shrill. Very smart. Very fearless but it wasn't the joke that put her career on hold, it was her.
The stupid cancel culture judge others as though they are perfect themselves. It's stupid. It's like the Salem Trials mixed with Amish shunning.
I Love ❤️ Rosie
Bring back Rosie 🙏🏻
FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT!!!!
Man these were the good ole days before all this cancel culture bs and pronoun nonsense.
Yes I miss these times it was alot better when we actually had fun.
Same jokes as the first appearance
She was better when she first started. Her first appearance on Johnny Carson was the best
I thought it was 1985.
She's right about fat Moms.
As usual go safe.
She used the same dialogue from her very first stand up -_-
So based
Jonny never heard of a peasant

Noice Doc...
Go Zenith Sony and Beta Kodak And Go Tv Guide.
It’s painful to watch!😮
Roseanne use the same jokes as you did the first time that’s not cool
She did 2 of those jokes on her Carson debut 7 years earlier. Guess she didnt work on new material that often
Paul Morris No, she had a very successful sitcom to keep her busy.
They all did that back then momo

Repetitive
Awe hating on women because your an insecure "man"
SAME EXACT SET SHE DID IN 1985!!!!!!!!!! no talent
Whi cares. Still great
so unfunny by today's standards
We have no standards today
Good clean comedy. She's genius!
Nightingale Amadeus
