- James had a killer start and I was kinda getting skunked, but I persevered and came out with some good finds at the end of the day. great birthday hunt overall.

Nice finds for sure. The guy that introduced me to rock hunting hunted the Ohio river with a boat and he collected over 200 nutting stones most with several holes in them

First one looks Hardin boys, what say you? Peoria chert?
In not really sure what to call it exactly, but it's definately on the older side. It has characteristics of Hardin, Holland and Johnson.
There's one version of it called a knobbed Hardin. Probly traditional Paleo. But never really gained traction as a stand alone type.
