Because, to be honest, the Ultimate smash victory theme for Mega Man is pretty trash. The Mega Man 8 stage clear fits it much, much better. I’d say they did perfect with Mega.
They have a difficulty programming Zelda/Sheik transformation, but since Smash 4 and Ultimate proved that they can work separately, hope we see them in the next update.

You could even say the Giegue is as significant as Porky because he sets everything in motion, he was who influenced Porky into being the character he is and he appeared in two of the three games just like Porky did. And to be honest, say whatever you want but I just don't think it does Porky justice to be playable, which is why I would like to see him more as a boss in Ultimate then as a playable fighter, same with other characters like Eggman who I don't see in a tiny lil machine instead of being in a huge robot. And of course, I like Mother / Earthbound Beginnings and I think it deserves a rep, nothing against Porky though but as I said before it's just... weird to see him playable. So yeah, in my own personal opinion, I would like to see another momma's boy with psi powers cuz why not, could have an interesting moveset and use more abilities from the games along with exclusive abilities from the first game just like how he could be an excellent echo fighter or semi clone for Ultimate.

I disagree with Porky, his machine sure is huge, but could easily be shrunk down, and why he deserves to be in is because he appears in both Earthbounf and Mother 3, being the reason for everything to happen in Mother 3. He's also one of the most terrifying villains of all time, represents the dark side of Earthbound without PSI and links Ness and Lucas. I believe Porky should be the next Earthbound rep, but I also really want Ninten, I'd be delighted to simply see another Earthbound rep in Smash, and yes I fear Porky will become a boss. You bring some good points, and seeing Gyigas would also be interesting!

I don't get why Zelda and Sheik aren't in this game since Ganondorf is. Also I thought the makers might have changed the victory themes of Little Mac, Duck Hunt Dog, PAC-MAN and Mega Man, but nope. They only changed the victory themes of Bowser, Ryu, Chun-Li and Evil Ryu. They aren't complaints but I'm only saying. And I can't believe (which I am upset but probably shouldn't) that Amy from Sonic isn't in this while Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow are (I think Shadow is best as an assist trophy). And Super Smash Flash 2 has Zelda and Sheik (which that doesn't make sense) and they could turn into each other and Diddy Kong has to be in too. Just saying.
