My most favorites knives of all time? My Buck 446 with the 6" long folding blade and the camping, hunting and hiking knife I made around 1966 from an old WW1 US Military Machete that I removed the handle from welded an extension for the handle on and extended the handle out and made it a two hander! Phenomenal tool for whacking brush, limbs and small trees and came in handy for self defense too!

My wife got me a Amazon TAC-FORCE (Fathers day) with engraved (my initials) Handle. Close to same price range. I carry it on my belt for almost 2 years. Use it all the time. It has 0% wobble from hilt to tip. I was very surprised to see how well it is made. I received a 2nd 1 the next year. 1 for the box. 1 for the belt. Love how passionate you are about the knives, and also the end of your video, "...live in the present, carry a band-aid and don't cut yourself". Thanks for making me smile, especially during these crazy times.
The only feature missing on this knife is a reversible pocket clip for us lefties. Tactical advantage is lost if you have to deploy the knife then flip it over to open it (a feature many designers overlook). Unless of course this knife opens bi-directionally.
I've been a knife guy for better than fifty years, and I've never considered the provided "edge" to be anything more than "rough grind" start for one to make their own edge. I've been carrying "CRKT" for a couple decades, and this one is one of the few I've seen, that equal said knives. Very nice, thanks for showcasing this knife, I believe I will be buying one. Everyone needs a "pokerizer".
Your grandfather’s Case knife is amazing! You mentioned the Eafengrow needed gimping on the flipper, and I’ve noticed most flipper knives have gimping. However, aggressive gimping on the flipper will make my finger raw from continuous fidgeting. Especially if finger flipping is the only method of deployment. I had to sand down my flipper on my Cogent because it was so aggressive and sharp it caused my finger to nearly bleed from continuous flipping and fidgeting. The gimping on the honey Badger is barely noticeable but enough there so your finger isn’t slipping. And here’s the thing, I play the guitar and have tough fingers. Maybe knife makers should be more aware of this when doing their gimping. lol
It truly is a sweet blade! See. That's the thing with flippers. There's that fine line between aggressive, and none-at-all. Slipping off of a slick flipper hurts! I don't mind a little bit of aggression, if the detent isn't strong. If it has a strong detent, give me light jimping. I guess it's a juggling act😅. Speaking of the Cogent. What makes my finger sore with fidgeting that one is the jimping on top of the knife that my finger hits. You and I are definitely fidgeters!😅
Always love hearing the stories behind why certain knives means so much to us. The fixed blade and the folder are awesome, sentimentality beats price any day. As for the Eafengrow knife it is definatly fun but not anything I would own or carry as for me it's just not practical for my needs. Thanks for the great vid Beez and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

I have a buck knife that my grandfather carried, not my best knife in my collection but one of my favorites because it reminds me of my grandfather. You know I really don't see a reason for a switchblade anymore , modern knives open so easily they are just as fast and more satisfying in many ways.
I bought one (black and red) on your suggestion. I love it! All my friends want one. I’m so impressed by the craftsmanship at the price that they are all getting one for Christmas. Thanks and be safe
I have a few Efengrow knives. Never really had a problem with quality, fit or finish. All of their knives are affordable and well built. I buy them mostly to customize, but, have carried them and used them without issue. Great video brother!
I haven't had any issues with any of the ones I own either. You're right, this is a great brand with a price point allowing room for modding practice and customization! Thank you! Here's to a great week!
At 1:31 I like the shape of the blade on this knife. It is very practical. I have a couple of fixed-blade knives that I modified to have a blade that shape.
That is one of the coolest case fixed blade knife I have ever seen. It's probably worth some money but if I was you I would never sell it. Gorgeous knife
I own several Eafengrow knives & I like them a lot. They all seem very well made with very good materials. Generally speaking this is not a style of knife I look for but if it's your thing go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed any effangrow knife.
I am not into knives at all. I found a Pakistan knife and I ran across your channel. You are awesome! I was totally entertained, and educated regarding the knives you shared. Great job!!
There's nothing like sitting on the couch and watching BeesBlades reviews. Then adding to the list of got to buy knives. You, like always are doing great.
I remember that Davie Crocket Bowie I'm 71 ,They used to sell them in Western Auto stores in the early 60's I always wanted one but never had the money!
Love this guy's enthusiasm. I just purchased one of these. It's been a long time between my first Spyderco blade and this one. I hope I am as pleased with this as I am with the Spyderco.
@@TChang888 The knife is ok but I am afraid I would have to give a three stars out of Five. My Spyderco I can open with as flick of my thumb and close it just as fast. But this knife requires more of a determined effort. Also, closing the blade requires me to actually use my thumb to disengage the locking mechanism and then perform the closing with my index finger. Something I cannot do quickly without risking the blade accidentally catching my thumb by mistake. The knife is not a bad one but it could have used a little more thought and engineering around the way it opens and closes if using one hand.
Your special sentimental knives are great. You can never replace the value that they have for you! I have a Steel River spear point blade that is spring assist, it is fast! It scares people when you deploy it. I believe that they also refer to this as a stilleto blade. Great vid as always.
The thing about switchblades, is that the spring power on activating the mechanism, usually a button, is in a world of its own, which a flipper doesn't have. It makes the blade more fun, more powerful and relevant to use and show off with if you have spring power behind the blade. I bought something like this from Amazon from a similiar review, if you remember the JOKER flipper knife, and it had weak flimsy action and was cheap to look at and hold. I was disappointed and said whats the point, you can get a real cheap but effective switchblade for not much money
Correct, this is a fun knife for mall ninjas. This is anything but a useful tactical blade. If it were deep carry, had a larger hand guard and the false edge were sharpened, the knife would be much more tactical. Moreover this kind of knife benefits from being entirely blacked out so it's harder to track by the eye when in motion. Sadly, due to it's blade design and edge geometry it's not going to be very good for EDC use and it's likely to freak people out when you try to use it as such. Moreover a choice of steel that's tougher and less likely to break when it hits something hard is always a good idea for this kind of blade. No tactical knife should ever come out shorter than when it went in. I get where some reviewers always want to say something positive about a knife, but this is 2003 and there are lots of great knife designs out there at fair prices. This unfortunately isn't one of them.
Morning Beez. Spyderco has the spydie flick while eafengrow has the spydie shank.🤣 This is is what spiderman brings to a knife fight.😁🔪 . A fun knife for sure. Thanks for the video. Have a great week.😊👍
Top of the morning to ya, Dwayne! Yes! The spydie shank!😆Now we know what Spydie carries! Who would have thunk it! Even HE, is on a budget!😅 You are welcome, and have a great week as well!
Thats a nice looking weapon. i just bought a OTF and a knife with a button is kinda junkie. Now my Benchmade spring assisted is way faster than a switchblade. give a little help and its open. could just flick or whip it open.
Cold Steel Colossus is one of the best all around, folding knives ever made, especially when comparing large folders. I am a fanboy of the lock up mechanism cold steel uses. Is a supreme design. My Benchmade collection is the most Sheek, and beautiful, as their lock up is suburb for the use, and its super silky smooth. Then again, my heart belongs to my LT Wright(s) many of them* and a few bark rivers and one William Collins. My God just thinking about all of the FIddleback Forge knives also, I think I have a problem.... I must seek helpp!!! =) God bless
With the symmetrical flippers you should be able to deploy that blade while drawing from the pocket by dragging the spine side flipper over the pocket seam similarly to an Emerson wave, Those are definitely faster than a switchblade since they open as they leave your pocket.
I dig all the symmetry going on with this knife. Even the clip is right down the middle. I noticed the blade is not exposed when closed, so in theory one could put a dual grind on it? I would think a wave opener would be a faster deployment, as it's opening coming out of the pocket, instead of getting the knife out and then deploying the blade. Hard to beat the speed of a fixed blade though lol. Thanks Beez!
Yes, you could put a grind on the other side. I was thinking more of how fast the blade flies out, but a way of opener does deploy it in a quicker motion. Hmmm, always one step-ahead Michael! 😅
@@BeezBlades 🤦♂️oh. Then yes just as fast if not faster. Actually, when Doug Ritter is trying to overturn auto laws, he demonstrates that they don't deploy any faster then their non restricted cousins.
That really WAS fun! Your passion and excitement about knives is addicting. Within just a minute of watching this, I remembered that I need to sharpen my Kershaw that dulls at work on the barges. It’s a $50 dollar beater that opens super fast and that’s great for one-handed emergency rope cutting but it dulls so fast that it requires daily sharpening. No big deal. I’m looking for a more expensive knife just because I love quality knives but I wouldn’t use it for work on the barges. The chance of it falling overboard into the ocean is pretty high, it’s not like dropping a knife on land. It drops on the steel deck and slides invariably into the sea with a depressing “ploop” and it’s gone forever. Lots of our crew has lost numerous knives to the ocean gods. We lose turning bars, shackles, chains, and turnbuckles as well. Working on the edge of a rocking wet deck is a perfect place to lose anything your hand. When I see a rookie with a really nice knife, I warn him of not getting too attached to it. And never let another crew-member borrow your knife because he’ll lose it quicker than you will. Anyway, I love your grandfather’s old Case and even the Spider-Man looking knife is cool. Thanks again for a really fun video.
You are very welcome! I loved hearing about your work! It's too bad you couldn't use a break-away lanyard attached to your belt, but that may be a bad idea hahaha. Thank you, Sean. Stay safe, my friend.
@@jeremyjames1659, I’ll look into the Buck 110. I’m always open to suggestions. Something with a rubberized grip is what I’m thinking. Something that’ll not slide on a deck so easily. I haven’t looked, but I haven’t seen one either. A lot of the old sailors knives had lanyards on them. Those have gone out of style and most people want an all-around work knife with assisted opening but something for walking around on the street as well. I’ll look at the Buck 110 though. Bucks are classic and I’ve owned probably a dozen or so through the years. Thanks for your insight.
@@jeremyjames1659, Okay, I looked up the Buck 110. They haven’t hardly changed since the 70’s and that’s a good thing. The Elite version is like a switchblade and just beautiful. Same shape as every buck folder I’ve owned and it was smart of them to stay with such a universally recognized design. I’d love to have one, but it’s definitely not going on the barge with me. It’s way too nice. We usually carry cheap knives that don’t hurt too much if they’re broken or lost at sea. That Buck 110 Elite would be safe and shiny in my collection at home. Or in my pocket for a fun and potentially dangerous Saturday night on the town. Nope, I don’t want any blood on that beauty. Very nice improvement on the classic old buck knife. I really haven’t even thought about those knives for decades. Thanks for reminding me though. I might just get one.
@@BeezBlades, Thanks man, yeah a break away lanyard would definitely be a problem while negotiating a spiderweb of chains on a slippery wet deck. I guess us longshoremen are stuck with cheapo knives that work until they’re lost. Easily replaced with no real heartache involved. I’ll save my really nice expensive knives for less risky situations. I have a bunch of old classic knives my father gave me, in my collection. An old Case rigger’s knife with the fid on one side and a rigger’s blade on the other, that gets and stays, spooky sharp. They don’t make blade steel like that anymore. High carbon steel requires care or it’ll rust very quickly. My dad’s old Case is probably 70 years old. Still looks new. Just like your grandfather’s old Case Bowie knife. The old-timers took care of their knives and passed them on to their adult kids. I can’t imagine passing on one of my modern knives to anyone. The spring will have broken, the screws would be loose, and the blade never was very good at holding an edge. My dad’s old Case Rigger though, will be in perfect shape and priceless. Same with your grandfather’s Bowie. Modern knives are a dime a dozen and never an “heirloom” by any stretch of the imagination. They’re nice for a while, but disposable. Anyway, love your channel. Keep collecting and studying knifes, knowing, they usually are crap compared to what your grandfather gave you. Peace, brother knife lover. 🤙🏼
I remember my mom bought her grandson a pocket knife for Christmas one year when he was about ten years old. The first thing he cut with it was himself. For kids, it's just not that uncommon. I like that knife you're reviewing. It's a cool letter and box opener. I definitely like the price to quality ratio. Thanks for your videos. I really enjoy them.
Everybody has that "cut" they remember.😅 It's pretty cool! I open a lot of packages and mail, and it will definitely get it's time in! You are welcome, brother! Thank you so much!
I cut half the side of my thumb off with my Uncle's Boy Scout Knife when I was 4yo. It did not deter me of my affinity for knives. I carried a colonial 3 blade knife from elementary school through middle school until I started my electrical apprenticeship in high school when I started using Case XX folders.
I'm a Buck man myself. The Buck 110 is my favorite all around Knife, it can do almost anything from skinning a deer to bushcraft. Case XX are fine knives though. I love American made cutlery.
Ha ha that reminds me of my older brother. We three brothers were bought cheap fake perl handled pocket knives when we were young kids and my older brother ended up cutting his finger on the blade checking it's sharpness. Like you said the first thing he cut was himself. We went on to use them for sharpening sticks when making forts out in the woods.
Yes, I like that style of "pocket knives" and I am also a fan of fix blade knives as well, each has their own usefulness and purpose unique to each style of knives.
Nice personal knives. I have 4 that can’t be replaced: 2 of my 1st hunting knives and 2 that I carried in Vietnam. Yup, the “Spider-Man” knife is neat, worth taking a look at…
Well, you’ve definitely earned a new subscriber, not so much for the knives, which are cool, but more so for your energy throughout the video, which was great by the way.
I have an older camillus with a lever on the side.. which makes it better to open imo.. you can't screw up the opening.. they don't make them anymore 😕 i should have bought ten of them at the time.. most flippers i have tried are just ok.. but i love case knives for their beauty.. really too pretty to carry or use.. lol
What up Bees?!! Hey Eafengrow is not bad at all actually. The beginning of my collection started with them and CRKT and you'd be surprised at how well some of them are made for the cost. They got a ZT clone that's and absolute guillotine. I wouldn't purchase this type but there are some fun ones!
Terrell!! Personally, I would rather buy an Eafengrow, than a CRKT (for the money and materials). I like my CRKT's, but they are overpriced, in my opinion. This knife isn't my norm, but I'm glad I have it. There are a wide range of collectors in the Beez Hive, so I'm glad I had the opportunity to show this one! Have a great week, my friend!
I have a smaller knife that’s similar. My biggest problem with it is I always have to stop and think about which direction the blade is coming out. 70 likes and 28 comments in an hour…killing it dude!!
Right. As long as the clip in inside my palm, I know it's the right direction. You know, this knife is a fun flipper! I can use it to poke holes in potatoes before I microwave them! Thank you Craig!!
It’s a good looking knife! But my Camillus Cuda 5.5 deploys as it comes out of my pocket! That’s fast, there is a hook on the knife that grabs the back of your pocket and deploys while being safe
The actual knife that you were reviewing isn't really my style but I **would** like to know what knife that was you used to open the Amazon box. I'm not sure what else it'd be good for besides cutting open packages but it looked really neat! Any details you can provide about it, or where I could maybe find it for myself would be greatly appreciated!
I think the spring assist is by far the best pocket stiletto concept. It’s natural tendency is closed, so it is not a hazard to the owner while in pocket. Unlike a switchblade or front-deploying knife. And it’s just about as fast. Operating the opener is just like pressing a button.
First time viewer. Love your enthusiasm and energy . You got a sub from me . And I’ll def be watching the old vids and looking forward to the new ones . Keep up the entertaining vids 🎉
Very cool Beez, I bought a knife a crown jewel dagger for like 18 bucks about 38 years ago and I wore out a sharpening stone sharpening it but I still have it today it's just fun good stuff thanks for sharing oh and it is red and black
I have a eafengrow ef225 I bought it because it looks like a strider knife design and for it costing like 70 bucks it's a pretty tough knife cause I beat the heck out of it and the action is still so smooth another great video
The flippers are symmetrical. Try to open this knife in a hurry and possibly get it wrong which direction it is going to open . A one flipper opening would be nice. Nice review and I like your enthusiasm. All the best in 2024.
not a fantastic day today, leaving in 20 minutes to go on an 8 hour trip to the VA hospital for the next 2 days. those are really cool knives. with cool stories. when I get home, I will try to do this tag video. have a good one.
tests are done. " no significant deterioration from last test cycle" kind of the best news I could have gotten. I am still a melted hot mess, but I am no more broken than I was 6 months ago. San Fran was sunny, haven't seen much of that around here lately. still full of whack-jobs though..
Today, Amazon showed a 20% OFF on this in a couple other budget knives. I only ordered this one with the idea that I could sharpen the back. Though it looks like it will work, the edge will be close to the opening.
Eafengow knives are very good knives for the price. I've got about 5 of them and not disappointed with any of them d2 steel and ball bearings most around 20 to 40. Great priced knives that can compete with most higher priced knives with the same options
Very cool knife you have from your grandfather.👍 My first knife was given to me by my grandfather. It was a small Case knife and it was stolen unfortunately. Thanks for sharing and take care buddy.
Knife Enthusiasts: I'm curious as to how hard, (or easy) it would be to put an edge on the opposing side of this blade? Can you do it yourself with minimal effort and tools, or does it need to be done professionally? Thanks in advance for your input and advice!
The handle design does also remind me of spiderman's suit. Looks like a lot of attention to detail and precision fit and finish went into the construction. I am a new subscriber as well. Thanks.
Ran into this video on recommendation I’ve watched a lot of different people on here but you explain every little detail everything gonna keep watching

Once upon a time I was into that that blade style well technically at the time I wanted a REAL switch blade, I was living in what Wisconsinites call a city(Madison WI)and way back then I could have and should have made better life choices, and found myself thinking/feeling that I needed to protect myself hence my want of a switch blade because they are easily concealed yet quick to deploy and brandish. Thank Goodness I never needed to Actually Use it for what MY intended purpose.... Anyway nice change of pace tho I would have liked to see the disassembly and seen "lil stubby" tackle them T6s, Were you so taken aback by the fact that while fun it was Actually totally functional?!?! 🤔,
I was surprised how solid and functional it was. It has good ergos, detent, action, and a nice edge (gotta clean up that rough spot). Yeah, that's a lot of T6's, but Stubby could have handled it! Thanks Travis. Here's to great week ahead!!
I would definitely call that a fun knife. I like the symmetry with the flipper on the “blade side” actually functioning like a fixed blade hilt. Thanks for the video, Cool fun blade.
I had a Davy Crockett blade when I was a kid too. But it didn't look like the one you showed here. It was black handle and had a white line with silver instead of gold.
Enjoyed your selection for the video, Beez. Probably not for me, but it did conjure up images of "The Wild One", Marlon Brando and his Triumph Thunderbird T6 with the mounted trophy sitting above the headlight and those foot long switchblade knives ! haha
Always looking to learn of new knives! My favorite wave knife is the Cold Steel Ti-lite. The 4" is a fantastic EDC, and the 6" is a ridiculous pocket sword.
I have a Steel River Stiletto and it's a lot of fun, but this one is 8 on GIGGITTY Meter and very COOL 😎 Design. Please do a Tear down I would like to see what type of bearings. Have a Great day MR BEEEEZ.
Gig II TYYY! I would bet the bearings are steel, but it's pretty smooth. I think I am going to do like a dual disassembly video, or a couple of them; To cover knives that I did not disassemble on camera. Just another vid series to add to the list.😅
Oh man, that's one of my favorite gentleman carry knives. It goes to restaurants with me, and looks great sitting with the silverware. Great steak cutter, and everything else cutter for that matter! Have a great week, brother!
In California [(1) It is illegal to possess any switchblade knife with a blade of 2″ or longer, that can be opened with a button or the flick of your wrist.] So would this be referred to as a switchblade?? I might be scared to carry this in Cali. What do you think?
That is very cool Case most definitely a Wall hanging love it & yeah your wife has good taste that Green Micarta & Gold can't bet that.. Stay Safe and keep them Sharp ✌️
Fred! Good morning! It would be pretty easy to sharpen the other side. Man, that would make it a scary piece! Thank you brother! Here's to a great week!
I am a fan of dagger blades bit mostly with fixed blades so there is now issues with having them double edged. I do have one folder with this shape which is the Kershaw Decimus. I do like the one from Arcane Designs and the Warlock from Paragon but they are both out of my price range right now.
The thing that keeps drawing my eye, is the symmetry. It's very clean. I have so many blades and styles to try and learn about! Wow, the Warlock is a chunk of change😅. It's pretty sweet-looking though! Have an awesome rest of your week Ken!!!

Excellent video. Great energy. Lots of fun. You made me want to click through to check out more than one of the examples you showed us today! Good stuff. Subscribed and looking forward to more from you in the coming days!

Have a great week! 👊🐝
I have a buck knife that my grandfather carried, not my best knife in my collection but one of my favorites because it reminds me of my grandfather. You know I really don't see a reason for a switchblade anymore , modern knives open so easily they are just as fast and more satisfying in many ways.
Switch blade have more stuff to break & foul up.
These days I'm happy with bronze washers, good lock up & premium (often not stainless) steels.
@@BeezBlades Right back at cha!
At 1:31 I like the shape of the blade on this knife. It is very practical. I have a couple of fixed-blade knives that I modified to have a blade that shape.
The Kizer Deviant, yes! I love that blade! 👊👊
I’ve got that exact same Case knife and sheath! I bought it in 1978 from a friend. Mines in better condition though.
That is one of the coolest case fixed blade knife I have ever seen. It's probably worth some money but if I was you I would never sell it. Gorgeous knife
It will get passed on to my son! It is a thing of beauty!
I hope I am as pleased with this as I am with the Spyderco.
you like it?
@@TChang888 The knife is ok but I am afraid I would have to give a three stars out of Five. My Spyderco I can open with as flick of my thumb and close it just as fast. But this knife requires more of a determined effort. Also, closing the blade requires me to actually use my thumb to disengage the locking mechanism and then perform the closing with my index finger. Something I cannot do quickly without risking the blade accidentally catching my thumb by mistake. The knife is not a bad one but it could have used a little more thought and engineering around the way it opens and closes if using one hand.
I try and stick with d2 tool steel I haven't been disappointed with any knife that I've bought in d2. I'm liking that switch blade style flipper.
Your special sentimental knives are great. You can never replace the value that they have for you! I have a Steel River spear point blade that is spring assist, it is fast! It scares people when you deploy it. I believe that they also refer to this as a stilleto blade. Great vid as always.
Thanks man. You're right, they can not be replaced!
Your knife must be one of those that tries to jump out of your hand!😅
Thank you Kevin!
That Case is impressive, your GrandPa has good taste. The Red and Black knife is not my style but it was a fun video as always.
I love big knives. My first EDC in the seventies was a big Schrade Scrimshaw with a four inch blade.
Huge heavy knife. And I still have it today.
I love hearing about people that have knives for decades! That is awesome!
I'm not a big knife guy. As I get older my knives get smaller, but I appreciate his enthusiasm of presentation.
Thank you Liam! I appreciate that.
Even HE, is on a budget!😅
You are welcome, and have a great week as well!
Thats a nice looking weapon. i just bought a OTF and a knife with a button is kinda junkie. Now my Benchmade spring assisted is way faster than a switchblade. give a little help and its open. could just flick or whip it open.
I'm pretty sure you won the fixed blade challenge. Congratulations!
Thanks for sharing this video with us!
😅Thank you Scott. You are very welcome! Have a great week, my friend!
God bless
With the symmetrical flippers you should be able to deploy that blade while drawing from the pocket by dragging the spine side flipper over the pocket seam similarly to an Emerson wave, Those are definitely faster than a switchblade since they open as they leave your pocket.
I have no Chanel but would Say eickhorn km2000 and my old benchmade 940 with alloy scales even when a spring is broken after all These years
That's awesome. I love hearing about people that have had knives for years and years. Knives can be timeless.
Thank you Andre!
Try the Buck 110. Its the perfect knife for your situation, its got a little heft to it so it might not slide as easily on the wet deck. Cheers!
Your granddad was a certified badass. You don’t get a knife like that without the certificate.
Everybody has that "cut" they remember.😅
It's pretty cool! I open a lot of packages and mail, and it will definitely get it's time in!
You are welcome, brother! Thank you so much!
@@BeezBlades Might be a great point of conversation for Friday Live at the Bee Hive !!
Yup, the “Spider-Man” knife is neat, worth taking a look at…
That's awesome, that you've had those knives for all these years.
Well, you’ve definitely earned a new subscriber, not so much for the knives, which are cool, but more so for your energy throughout the video, which was great by the way.
It’s a nice $30 knife! 👍 not my style but I love the color scheme, dagger edge, and flipper. Should be durable.
LOVE YOUR ENERGY!!!! I'm so excited to watch! and you're barely opening the box!
I like double-sided blades but I don't like having to run your finger on the blade to close it.
That grandpa one is definitely a knoif though 😁
Thank you I needed this! As my 2yr old niece would say “I need that.”
Oh yeah, that is FAST!!
Emerson Kershaw collaborate Same way
@@Mark-nv1kg I’ll have to check that out!
I own several automatic side folders as well as OTFs that if you blink you will miss the blade deployment.
I like my Boker Plus Caracal, D2, G10. 6 years later, still flippin edc.
It’s for sure a different style of knife!!! Which I’m always a fan of because that’s where you find some real jems for your collection!
Heck yeah! I'm all about variety!
I would ask why you need a switchblade, or a faster blade? What would you use it for? They're illegal in the UK now.
It got that Elf's Sword style from the "The Lord of the Rings"..really nice with that Groove in the middle..👍I like straight Blades..🌟
There definitely is something about the symmetry. It's a very clean look!
Thank you SACHS VDE! Have a great week!
I have one of those Case knives. That and a Case Kodiak Hunter were both hanging on the wall when I was a kid.
Very cool Beez, I bought a knife a crown jewel dagger for like 18 bucks about 38 years ago and I wore out a sharpening stone sharpening it but I still have it today it's just fun good stuff thanks for sharing oh and it is red and black
Wow. I love hearing about people having knives for that long! That's awesome!
First time on your channel but certainly not the last! Love your enthusiasm and knowledge.

I have a eafengrow ef225 I bought it because it looks like a strider knife design and for it costing like 70 bucks it's a pretty tough knife cause I beat the heck out of it and the action is still so smooth another great video
I've seen that one! It looks sweet! Eafengrow puts out some quality knives!
Thank you David!
The flippers are symmetrical. Try to open this knife in a hurry and possibly get it wrong which direction it is going to open . A one flipper opening would be nice. Nice review and I like your enthusiasm. All the best in 2024.

Wishing you a safe trip, and that everything goes well, my friend👊.
Good luck @ the VA. They have always taken excellent care of me…
tests are done. " no significant deterioration from last test cycle" kind of the best news I could have gotten. I am still a melted hot mess, but I am no more broken than I was 6 months ago. San Fran was sunny, haven't seen much of that around here lately. still full of whack-jobs though..
@@tedfiedler1038 the VA has done fairly good by me as well. I am service connected, so a lot of the paperwork is automatic.
Today, Amazon showed a 20% OFF on this in a couple other budget knives. I only ordered this one with the idea that I could sharpen the back. Though it looks like it will work, the edge will be close to the opening.
I would love that as my party knife when I am not familiar with the guest list. Looks wicked and quick to action. when necessary.
I hear ya. It does look pretty cool. Looks like something Spiderman would take to that party.😅

I like the style but not for edc. The other color version is more appealing to me but this one is the sting of the Beez
Same. The tan and black version looks equally as cool. It is fitting that I have the red/black version!
Eafengow knives are very good knives for the price. I've got about 5 of them and not disappointed with any of them d2 steel and ball bearings most around 20 to 40. Great priced knives that can compete with most higher priced knives with the same options
That's what I'm learning! Thank you Darrin!

I used and carried one of these in the woods back in the 90s counting that is actually Jim Buie on the blade enjoy the knife it’s a good one
Very cool knife you have from your grandfather.👍 My first knife was given to me by my grandfather. It was a small Case knife and it was stolen unfortunately. Thanks for sharing and take care buddy.
Yes, it is very cool. Man, too many people have had their first knife stolen. That's sad.

Knife Enthusiasts:
I'm curious as to how hard, (or easy) it would be to put an edge on the opposing side of this blade? Can you do it yourself with minimal effort and tools, or does it need to be done professionally?
Thanks in advance for your input and advice!
I think it's a safety factor. I've never seen a jack knife style with a sharpened leading edge.
The Ned Floss Mermaid is one of my favorites in this style.
I have a similar knife, the CKRT Bombastic. It’s a Ken Onion design. That EF looks interesting.
Just looked it up. It does look very similar! This one feels very solid!
Thank you JcruzR 2! Have a great week!

How good is it for throwing?
The handle design does also remind me of spiderman's suit. Looks like a lot of attention to detail and precision fit and finish went into the construction. I am a new subscriber as well. Thanks.

Nice knives. I have a knife 🔪 from my younger brother who received it from a friend. Had it sharpened and the case repaired.
Oh, very nice!
I would definitely call that a fun knife. I like the symmetry with the flipper on the “blade side” actually functioning like a fixed blade hilt.
Thanks for the video, Cool fun blade.
The symmetry on it is very nice. Now to open some mail with it.😅
I had a Davy Crockett blade when I was a kid too. But it didn't look like the one you showed here. It was black handle and had a white line with silver instead of gold.
Ahh, the memories.
Beautiful knife!
LOVED the petrified fish knives (especially the first one that you set on bottom) that you compared!
Enjoyed your selection for the video, Beez. Probably not for me, but it did conjure up images of "The Wild One", Marlon Brando and his Triumph Thunderbird T6 with the mounted trophy sitting above the headlight and those foot long switchblade knives ! haha
Ha! Now I have that picture in my head. Excellent!
Thank you Mitch! Have a great week, brother!
@@BeezBlades Cool Idea 💡

In California [(1) It is illegal to possess any switchblade knife with a blade of 2″ or longer, that can be opened with a button or the flick of your wrist.] So would this be referred to as a switchblade?? I might be scared to carry this in Cali. What do you think?

Fun knife!! It needs a double sided edge To seems scary but fun background
That Davy Crockett knife is fabulous.
I've only tried to sharpen a spear point blade once and I failed miserably! I like the style, but I'm not good enough for it yet!
