The other problem is getting hull insurance which could get easily on a 150 not so easy on a experimental RV. They usually require get a few hours from a CFI who has 10 hours in the type you want something like that never looked into it just heard about it.

Seems like a nice bird, but I don’t think comparison to a 150 is realistic. The only similarity is 2 seats.
And price…I’ve seen 150s for sale for $50K! Blows my mind.

Most insurance does require you to fly with a CFI. In general, it’s a good idea. Even if it’s not required.

RV-6 is great airplane, but that color makes it invisible in the air.
Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but they're all hard to spot for me!
