Now I remember where the Vestron logo came from. It was "The Running Man". A good film starring Ah-nuld Schwarzenegger!!! The MGM/UA logo came from the Secret of Nimh, the 1990 Cartoon Moviestars release. An awesome film from Don Bluth (An American Tail, Rock-a-Doodle, Space Ace, Land Before Time, Dragon's Lair), based off of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh.

Academy Entertainment sounds a little bit like "Test For Echo" by Rush, or at least the intro of it.
USA Home Video can be found on the VHS for the 1977 film "Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo", with a promo for the film "1984" being released in 1985 by USA Home Video!
Wood Knapp Video can be found on a mid-80s TV commercial compilation tape featuring Joe Sedelmaier's work such as "Where's The Beef?" The case for it also has First Run Video, but its logo does not appear on the tape.
AIP can be found on Space Mutiny, later featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000.
The PolyGram Video logo at 4:55 is found on the 1989 VHS for the "A Show Of Hands" concert video from Rush. It is NOT found on the DVD re-release from 2006, that uses the standard PMV logo.

I know that a few of these distributors didn't just do workout videos but also children's content. Wood knapp had the Weston Woods library, Good times had those vehicle videos (vids about fire trucks, trains, construction etc.), and Sony Wonder had a certain street in New York nobody knows how to get to. Makes you wonder what obscure children's shows were on the other logo's tapes.

colored CG letter “J” and number “2”
are seen at extremely close range as
they begin to rotate and move back,
    first separating shortly from one
another in a diagonal direction, then
reuniting. After they slow down and
come to a stop, a pinpoint of light
forms near the top of the screen and
sweeps down in an arc, leaving the
    word “COMMUNICATIONS” trailing
very rapidly from right to left in

emit one “sparkle”, in that respective
order, and the logo fades out.

*NOW I KNOW THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS LOGO BEING BRITISH BECAUSE WE HAVE TWO POLYGRAM VIDEO LOGOS THAT APPEAR IN THIS VIDEO: SO WHERE IS ''THE VIDEO COLLECTION''? THEY WERE THE ONE OUT OF THE MANY VIDEO DISTRIBUTORS THAT RELEASED ''JANE FONDA'S NEW WORKOUT'' (new for the year ''1986'' anyway.) PLUS I'VE GOT A WORKOUT VIDEOTAPE BY THAT DISTRIBUTOR (The Video Collection) ENTITLED ''A WEEK WITH RAQUEL'' (it came out in the same year too.) ((1986)) (for The Video Collection, the year 1986 was not only the year for their new-at-the-time logo, but also the year for workout video programmes.) YES, IT IS A 7-DAY WAKE UP AND SHAPE-UP PROGRAM THAT IS DESIGNED TO LAST YOU 15 MINUTES A DAY! THE PROGRAMME ITSELF LASTS 105 MINUTES! (1 hour and 45 minutes.) PRETTY LONG FOR A WORKOUT VIDEO, WHEN MOST WORKOUT VIDEO PROGRAMMES USUALLY LAST FROM 30 MINUTES (half an hour,) TO 60 MINUTES! (an hour,) OR BOTH IF IT'S 90 MINUTES! (an hour and a half.) SO TO ROUND OFF THIS COMMENT REGARDING THE NEED TO INCLUDE THE VIDEO COLLECTION LOGO IN THIS COMPILATION~ IF YOU DO ANOTHER WORKOUT VIDEO LOGO COMPILATION: PLEASE INCLUDE ''THE VIDEO COLLECTION'', FOR THE SAKE OF THAT PARTICULAR VIDEO DISTRIBUTOR BEING INVOLVED WITH WORKOUT VIDEO PROGRAMMES!! I NOTICED YOU INCLUDED HIS YOUNGER BROTHER FROM AMERICA IN THIS VIDEO @**4:17**!!!!*

The MGM/UA Home Video logo was from "The Secret of NIMH", a good movie based off the novel Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. Remember Mrs. Brisby's actor Elizabeth Hartman? She committed suicide by jumping out a window

      Yep
I made a meme based on the death of Elizabeth Hartman entitled "Don't You Dare Jump Out of a Window, Timmy Turner" (which featured Leni Loud) on DeviantArt
