- I have a ton of VHS tapes in my collection and a lot of them have amazing and not so amazing animated VHS Logos on them. Here are about 200 of them!

Maier Group is definitely familiar, I had an Inspector Gadget tape that was released by them in the early 90s. Weirdly enough, the DiC logo wasn't updated by the LBS logo WAS.

At 49yrs old I was there at the begining of video in the uk. I remember the magic of parents bringing in vhs to replace our beta which had replaced our Philips. Nothing more magical than going to local video shop+choosing a movie or two.
So when's the movie going to start?
I am getting goosebumps from hearing these old VHS logos! Hopefully I will recognize some of these logos even though I was born in the mid-90’s.

FROM CHRIS TONEY: Any chance you know what cassette the New Age Video logo came from? (I'm sure they released several.) It's at 26:50. We had a tape with that on it growing up but I can't remember what it was. I had forgotten about it until I heard the music just now and was like, "Whoa!"

I have no idea. I haven't catalogued all of these logos. I just put in the tapes, rip them, then throw them back in the pile.

11:18 The Drafthouse Films intro is not a VHS logo. They did a pretty good job on fooling you. Their 1980s VHS intro imitation is on props!
These are quite modern and very usa.. Think I'll do a upload covering UK video of the 70s n 80s.

That is because analog signal almost never play the same quality due to signal fragmentation and frequency instability. You can't perceive it consciously but your brain still do it.

Several of these logos come from religious nut organizations. Did you (the owner of this VHS collection) come from a churchy household, or did you pick up most of your tapes at thrift stores? (I've seen some really nutty stuff on sale at thrift stores)
