8 years old. EIGHT YEARS and not even a spec of dust on the engine air filters. Anyone looking for genuine value in a yacht or a home - or both, this is it. Wonderfully spacious without feeling empty. Nicely appointed without being crowded. All laid out and finished so well. Thanks for the tour Nick - Ahoy for now.

Nick always seems genuinely happy when the crew is well catered for. I admire that instinct to support a working industry.
Btw, "alrighty" is not overused! It's great. The only overused word on your videos - ever - is "area." Nickisms are all part of the fun.

    • @childofthesun32

Hah yeah, I think I remember hearing him say "area" about 5 times in the space of 10 seconds, then he even added "How many times can I say area in one sentence!" Can't remember which boat that was though.

They put a lot into 90 feet. I must admit I look for the 100 plus to dream about, but this one is worth a look. I'm starting to like the high gloss wood. I became a fan with the Ferretti 94. Another good job, Nick. The only problem, I start expecting more and more from you. I'm an addict.

Going from a yacht of 80 feet to a yacht of 90 feet is really a big step up. With the 90-foot yacht, you see the large crew area, day heads on each deck, and more amenities like a jacuzzi. If a person has the money and the space to dock a 90-foot yacht, it is worth it.

  • @MrCrystalcranium
    @MrCrystalcranium Год назад +1

She's beautiful. If you were inside, you'd feel like you were on a 130' yacht. The skydeck is just huge and almost 4000 HP at your disposal is fabulous. That's the difference in this boat from a bigger one...the performance. Just imagine racing along at over 25 knots in a boat this big. It's gotta make you feel like the King of the World!

Beautiful boat, and that woodwork is just as nice as Nick describes. I was a little sad that it looked like there were so many storage spots we did not see. I know Nick cannot always open every cabinet door, but I saw a lot of little hideaways in the stairways and other places that I would have loved to see inside. ✌

I always wonder why the forward view is rarely utilised 'properly', but this yacht has that lovely breakfast area. Why wouldn't the passengers want to see where they're going rather than where they've been. Nice to see.

Have to agree with mostly positive comments. She is so lovely laid out, the woodwork,is exactly how l would want it to be, shiny, very posh. You just can not fault this boat, love the spacious interior, that goes all the way through, love the location of the kitchen also.Love the bridge, one of the best I have seen, with the controls layout and the 2 comfy chairs, I've seen some big yachts without a chair to even be able to sit down. This is a very unusual design. Very very sensible. If there was one thing and this to the expense of the middle floor layout ,no fly bridge, that's the compromise.

I've loved every Horizon I've seen. A wonderful yacht. It's on the Denison Website, if this is really 88 feet not 90. $4.3 Million to buy it and something like $13.5 thousand to fill the fuel tanks. Wow. Just in case anyone is interested the Nordhavn RUclips channel has a shortish series on a N76 Spirit of Ulysses doing a West to East Atlantic crossing. It gives a good idea of what life on one of these beauties is like. Both are Taiwanese built so they have similar feels. The Nordhavns are ocean going but at a thousand miles range this could go from the East Coast USA to Bermuda. Cross large open parts of the Gulf of Mexico. Do a North South crossing of the Med.

05:16 - Good lad, well remembered, and yes I will tell you off whenever you forget the Wave! 🥰
I found this one really attractive, in both the overall layout and in a lot of the little details. It's the sort of thing I'd use as the base spec on which to build my own yacht. Size-wise, there's a 65' Gulf Craft that makes stunning use of space in a similar way (their whole Nomad range does), but not with such fine detailing as this Horizon. Crew cabin is especially decent.
Alas, the only thing I'm not a fan of, on any boat, is gloss woodwork!

It feels like one of those boats you would get real connection with and feels like it has character; the wood and the design with the lovely through deck really help this.
::side note:: The words 'Through Deck Cruiser' were used in the RN most recently with the ships Ark Royal,Invincible and Illustrious. The government decided to build these small carriers but only because they were categorised 'Through Deck Cruisers'. Ships with lots of space running most of the overall length. For some strange reason this impressive boat made me think of that 🤔😄🫡🇬🇧 Great tour thx Nick.

Another lovely yacht designed and built in Taiwan I believe. The way the designers have used the 90ft is what makes this a family yacht. Having the Helm separate really helps. If I purchased this second hand I’d modify the the two singles into a double to cater for my family but that would be it.
Nick I’m concerned mate about your fondling of wood panelling 😁 think you might need help😏

I've watched about a million of them boat videos from all over the place, I really can't understand why almost always the access to the crew quarters is located outside!! Perhaps sometimes it makes sense to do so, depending on particular vessels, but surely there should also be times where it's perfectly feasible to have the access door indoors. What if the weather is not so nice, what if the vessel is underway......etc-etc. I'm pretty confident that designers can sort this out easily, if they really do appreciate the people working onboard boats, that is!
(Riviera 78 is a good example)

Best looking 90' boat I've seen so far. Nice to see decent crew space. Cheers Nick.
