  • Hello Fellow Woodworkers!
Welcome to this weeks’ video from The Garage Workshop!
This is the first in a series of videos on the creation of a new workbench for The Garage Workshop.
in this weeks' video I create the basic frame of the workbench from CLS stud timber as well as laying out some of the feature I plan to install in video 2. I create an initial design in sketchup and use that as the basis for my new workbench and gradually add to the design as the build evolves.
Sadly I suffer a loss in this video as my trusty Rag 5S gives up the ghost!
If this is your first visit to The Garage Workshop, please can I ask you to subscribe, like, comment and hit the notification bell.
If you are a regular viewer thank you so much and please like and comment too.
I’ll see you on next weeks’ video!
    Happy Woodworking!

    Comment for the algo :)
Looks like a good size for your workshop space & well planned out. I wish I had a bit more room as being able to walk around the workbench looks really handy.
Looking forward to seeing this project come to fruition.

Good start to your new work bench. As someone with very limted I like to see how other makers handle their space. Can't wait to see how your new bench turns out.

Let us know how you got on with Evolution. I've got the little brother of your table saw, the 'Fury' version. In case mine suffers the same fate, I'll know what to do.

I love it Michael...my favourite Parkside tool and has the power of a lot more expensive branded tool in my opinion. Maybe but I am far too small sadly...maybe one day :)

@@thegarageworkshop4791 have u had it long and take it will do a say 2" cut in 1 pass?? I've been looking at getting it but wasn't sure how robust would be as would be used for me for breaking down live edge slabs.

@@michaelwillson6847 Yes I have had it a while and yes it will depending on material and grain.

I hope you are able to sort out your tablesaw.

I don't think that any table saw should have any issues cutting along the grain. How many teeth on you blade?
