- In today’s video, I’ll share why I dumped my dividend stocks, including major players like JNJ, SBUX, PG, PEP, KO, INTC, ADBE, and UPS. These dividend stocks have performed well over the past year, but I made the decision to dump them to focus on faster-growing opportunities. I’ll explain how my dividend portfolio performed, the returns I was getting, and why it was time to make a shift. If you’ve been considering your own dividend stock strategy or wondering why I made this move, this video will break it all down. Stay tuned for insights on where I’m headed next!

Ahhh the old Buy high sell low trick. The classic 😂😂😂
Buy high sell low 😂😂😂
@@Trenchs_To_The_Riches 😂😂… sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. 30 days, I’ll be up. I’ll take a short term loss in a heartbeat; especially knowing that I’ll make much more with different options.
Dude you doing it wrong. You got to do the opposite. Sell the ones are doing good to buy the ones are doing bad. But always making sure its a good stock. So when the bad ones start coming back the other ones migth be at a lower price
Why are you selling dividend stocks like they’re growth stocks?
JEPQ/JEPI/SPYI 8-10% div monthly. Invest the rest in the total market. ETFs are the way to go.
He's getting higher results from other stocks.
Dont be surprised when the payout for these funds is much lower as time goes on

Investing varies on your long term goals. Many people like the stable dividend kings/ aristocrats. Paper value may not grow like new/ aggressive stocks but can be a good supplemental strategy. I own most the companies you mentioned and I keep purchasing and DRIP. Maybe if I was in my 20’s/30’s, I would dump them and be thinking the same as you. Either way, your journey is yours so your on the right path.
Aggressive growth in PEP, JNJ, PG? Maybe you bought without having idea what you were investing in... Hopefully this new movements work better for you based on what you are looking :)
I knew exactly what I was investing in. It’s just that every so often I rebalance. No one can predict what the market will do. And it makes no sense to stay with underperforming stocks. But I’m confident this transition was the right for me.
Great video man, I wish you the best on your investing journey!
9:15 comparing two tickers charts side by side and making an investment decision based on that is a terrible way to invest and a sure way to end up underperforming. This is somehow who should passively invest and do nothing else.
How much money did you invest into each stock before you sold them, tho???? I'm just curious because I've been thinking about investing into stocks for a while now.
@@wyntonmohorn that’s great!!! Best time to plant a tree is yesterday, second best time today!! The saying goes the same with investing. As for how much invested…. let’s just say that when I liquidated them all, I was just south of 20k
@@KingPrime What would you say is a good amount of money to start investing with for a beginner, King? Because I'm not rich by any means, but I'm interested in investing.
@wyntonmohorn investing and trading are different things. This guys a trader. If you want to invest you can literally start with 1 dollar. And you should start today tbh. The sooner the better.
@ this guy is both!!! 🏆😅… Facts though!! Get started today with $1. Sooner the better. Appreciate your comment.
Movie is "American Gangster"...Frank Lucas. (2:20 ish...)
🌈🌈🌈 How long have you had each one of your stocks before you sold them?🌈🌈🌈 It is very important to keep your emotions out of your decisions when you sell or buy stocks.🌈🌈🌈
I not here to tell others what to do . I always said legacy companies are a waste of time and money. Because they have gotten to the highest they will never be. Than people always want to talk about WB he got in when the shares was under 5 per share .So many people ran into that chip stock that needs to hit 500 a share to be worth the time . I lv OTC and will do better than most of them .
Nice video
Thank you so much
Literally selling the same stocks i wouldn't sell now pep, j&j, ups
American Gangsta
@@terrelltarver my man!!! 🏆🔥😁
Its not the stocks it's the sectors . When I see many a
Y T guys taking about stocks they never said what sectors .
100% profit on your other Portfolio 😦😅😅 I guess we got a new Oracle.. not even Warren Buffet make that revenue..!
Certainly not calling myself “the oracle” but what I’m speaking is facts. I’m not trying to mess around to gain a measly 6-10 percent 😂😂😂
You’re looking for aggressive growth and bought Coke, Pepsi, and P&G????
No…. I have several portfolios. These were stocks within a dividend portfolio (different purpose) that I decided to dump after nearly a year for better returns.
@ copy but you stated in the video that part of the reason you sold was because you were looking for aggressive growth.
@ correct… at the time of initial investing “I thought” better growth would be there (in those stocks). Nope .. wrong answer 😂
I bought them a year ago and sold them last week to buy a few that I think are positioned for growth
Why many watches this media not like and subscribe
You should have sold adobe 6 months ago when they changed their EUA to where they claim ownership od anything made with their products
@@graphicdesignandwebsolutio365 right?!!!! I got caught slipping on that 😅
