@@realmusicreallife been and done N55, N54 isn’t at all like a B58, there’s a reason there such a popular engine choice, first choice was to 1J/2J one but the cost of the engine alone, life to short to be boring 😂

Hello, I think you should just use the b58 subframe front and rear and fit them with some customisation to the e46 chassis, that way you can use the original engine harness and ecu for the power steering and engine electronics etc… if that’s not an option then possibly fit a power steering pump where you did the AC delete with a bracket and a reservoir. Hope you get this finished. Custom builds are the best.
S85 V10 into that M140i shell, or if it doesn’t fit the S62 V8 🙏🏼 👀
Go for a hydroelectric steering pump conversion, I used a Merc A class unit on my E46 M3. It’s a standalone unit and only requires simple wiring and custom lines 😁
Yeh we were looking at a Zafira one.. does the A class one run load based pumping or steering angle?
@@NVMotorsportUK load based as no steering angle sensor input for it. I know a few E46 M3’s using them no issues 😁 Problem I find with the Vauxhall pumps are they are bulky, about twice the size. Mine locates nicely in the space next to the engine bay fuse box up against the bulkhead 👍🏽

Looking forward to this build still. I've said this before in your comments but now it's become true. My older bro lives one road in the ULEZ in Feltham and I've got an E46 330d and had an M140i so the quicker I can but a kit, the better lol. Seriously though, another thing to consider is, i believe the B58's don't use a conventional coolant thermostat, they use an electronic coolant manifold. You probably knew this anyway. Also, I have contacted you about a remap with the specs of my 330d, would a call be better? Keep it up lads, loving the work 👊🏼
