i used to be sad when I couldn't read a lot in a month, and I used to be jealous when people would read 15+ books, but I realised that reading is not a competition and thank you haley for normalizing that ❤❤❤
I’m still jealous and sad lolol. Not that it’s a competition but because I love reading and there are so many books I want to read and I’m just never going to have time to get to them all
I get that! but you also have to remember for a lot of these booktubers, reading is their job! whereas most people have 9-5 jobs or school - it’s easy to compare but give yourself grace and know that majority of the time, everyone has different circumstances :)
I’ve gotta say, the pop-ups where you show the thumbnail of the videos you read the book in are *chefs kiss* 😙👌🏽I know it can be a tedious extra step in editing BUT it works like a charm in keeping me binging your videos!! 🤣 LOVE IT✨
I’m currently reading Keeping 13. I think the characters are so well done in both books. I don’t usually cry during books but Binding and Keeping 13 are so emotional that I find myself crying much more than I expected. I have 75 pages left in Keeping 13, and my goodness you should definitely read it. It takes a wild twist that I didn’t expect. I actually said OH MY GOSH out loud in public which I have never done in my entire life!!
Reading Morning Star right now and recently found out that the Red Rising series actually has 3 more books after MS sooo when you’re ready to pick up one of Brown’s books again and read Iron Gold on your TBR shelf please let us know your thoughts!! Started this series because of your review and have absolutely loved it so would looove to hear your thoughts about the rest! Looks like some of the later books have amaaazing reviews too 🥳
Guys I finally read "better than the movies" easy 6 stars everyone. That book insane. Also i just realized Haley with bangs looks like olivia rodrigo from her obsessed music video
I'm a huge Emily Henry fan and i related so hard when you mentioned the urge to re-read all her books the moment you finish them cuz they are just so so good!!😭💕
15:04 Hailey, I recently read my first Ali Hazelwood book, check and mate. And it was a perfect 5 stars for me, I love it so much and the fact is a lot of my favorite books are ones you have recommended. If you ever see Ali on the street beg her to write more YA. I didn’t have that feeling of being treated like a child at all, and as a writer it was so easy and enjoyable to read!! Tyy again and again for promoting her books.
You have restarted my love for reading and I actually have to buy more bookshelves because of the amount of books you have read and recommend! I love it so much and I hope you are planning another bookmark & book sleeve launch soon!!
On your TBR shelf is The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea by Axie Oh! That's one of my favorite books ever. I love Axie Oh's writing so much. She writes the best characters that you just fall in love with and the story is very Studio Ghibli coded which makes it easily one of my favorite things to exist. She's one of my favorite authors so I completely recommend anything she writes. XOXO and the sequel ASAP are YA kpop romances, The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea is a Studio Ghibli style fantasy, and Rebel Seoul and its sequel Rebel Heart are futuristic sci fi fantasies. They're all the best.
I have been in a reading slump since starting Empire of Storms and I finally finished a book: Funny Story. I loved it! It was so fun and just the heartwarming summer romance that I wanted! Emily Henry fan foreverrrrrr
I'm excited for Funny Story. I love when a character's job is incorporated into a story and you actually learn something while enjoying a great story. Very cool.
Haley! I read Funny Story just bc you convinced me and I found I have an undying love for Emily Henry’s storytelling. Tbh I was not convinced I wanted to read her books bc of how popular and spoken were them but now that I loved funny story I need you recs on her other books! Which one of hers do u like most?
First of all, love you Haley!!! Second of all, I completely agree about Tress. I adored the first part of the book and was annotating it like crazy and then the entire book was spent on a boat and I didn't realize that. I wish they would have gotten somewhere, I feel like I would have enjoyed that more.
@@artnstuff8356 I'll do it by Genre. Mystery:- The Adventures on trains series by MG Leonard and Sam Sedgeman, The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Truly Devious Series by Maureen Johnson, Fantasy:- Twin Crowns by Catherine Doyle and Katherine Webber, Percy Jackson and The Olympians by Rick Riordan, (It's my favourite out of all of these and there are so many books that connect to it) The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, Scythe by Neil Shusterman, Romance:- I Hope This Doesn't Find You, This Time It's Real, and If You Could See The Sun all three by Ann Liang

You should read Change of Plans by Cindy Ras! It just came out a few months ago and it has some acts of service moments! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the book! It’s a contemporary workplace romance.
Tress of the Emerald Sea I really enjoyed because I am Tress. It was really good to see her journey from where she began to the person that she became. The world building I really enjoyed. The sea of spores made perfect sense to me since I love Biology so it was a really fun experience for me! That’s why I gave it 5⭐️
(CONTAINS BOOK SPOILERS) hey haley!! i think part of the reason why The House Across the Lake wasn’t as scary to you was the part where there is a soul of a person trapped in the lake. i know that for me as a christian, that part made it very fictional because i believe that could never actually happen. just a thought!
I read your book rec Same Time Next Summer. Great, light read. Have you ever read Jane Eyre? I was intimidated, but once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I also challenged myself to reading Anna Karenina which was also amazing! With your dance you would appreciate the production of Anna Karenina by the Joffrey Ballet. Thank you for all your cheerful, fun videos!
Hayley!!!! Book recommendations! J You should try John Green YA books! They are so good and easy to read! Looking for Alaska is my favorite of them! Also the obsession by Jesse q sutanto is good! You have already read a book by her already! Dial a for auntie's!
I have some of these books on my TBR to read in May. I just need to make my TBR video, I love how you read a lot of new release this month. I normally wait to read them when the hype dies down a little to read them. Great reading month
Hey Haley❤ I highly recommend Katie Cross' Coffee Shop Girl series if you love cosy romances with an exciting side-storyline 😊 All of the books take place in the same cute mountain town so it feels you're never really leaving 🥰 Books 1-3 and 6-8 are the best❤ ❤❤
I just finished reading the Damsel book after watching the new Netflix movie and I would recommend it. It was a little bit different from the movie in the end but was still super cool and not overly magical. Plus, it has flashbacks to princesses that came before her so that that was really fun to read.💕😊
The Queen has posted I love Haley. She is such an inspiration. She inspired me to start reading gone without a trace. Also, if Haley sees this, can you make a video review and gone without a trace by Mary tournen

ok i think i commented this already but can’t find it and i did not spell it right so here it is agian. Hey , hailey! My friends mom just came out with a book called the tourist trap . Here is the back: Eager to escape their families’ annual blended vacation, lifelong “frenemies” Maura and Liz take a ferry to an island deep in the Chesapeake Bay. While beautiful on the outside, the girls soon discover something sinister haunts the island residents. A centuries-long curse demands a yearly sacrifice to keep a vengeful evil at bay, and the islanders will risk everything to keep their secret. Kidnapped and trapped underground, Maura tests her mettle as she navigates through tunnels that are a maze of horrors at every turn. Maura knows she may not win the battle, but she won’t be taken out easily. She’s going to make certain that the person who abducted her will remember her as the one he misjudged. Meanwhile, Liz scours the island looking for her lost friend. With help from Jacy, one of the islanders, Liz soon learns that Maura has been chosen to be this year’s island sacrifice. Both girls must push past their physical and mental limitations and find the strength to escape Caethian Island and the evil that it was built upon. thank u ❤ please support her!
