  • From ThemeParkAdventure.com. Originally built 186 feet tall, it was modified after one season to conform to the 150 foot limit imposed by the city of Vallejo. Even though Six Flags advertised it as 150 feet tall despite being identical to the other models, they may have originally thought that the height limit applied to the highest point in the park. The highest point is a hill well about 40 feet above where the coaster is built.

Now we need to find good on ride footage of the ride anywhere from 2002-2006.

Let me get this straight, SFDK put the old vertical velocity before they put it in great America? Strange

Most likely that. The only reason they changed it was because it was in violation of Vallejo’s height limit

No, this was the original. It was higher than the height limit which is 150 feet in Vallejo California they said it was 150 feet in the park map and everything, but it was actually 180 feet. So the city of Vallejo told them to either get rid of the ride, or remodel it so it’s 150 feet. So they made it so is 150 feet tall. Now I have 3° angle twist, which is actually an inversion for what people say. The break at the top hasn’t work since 2001. There you go that’s the history of vertical velocity. Also, Six Flags great America got theirs after this but Six Flags discovery Kingdom still had it.
