That part is a vacuum servo solenoid switch used to activate the flap control rod diaphragm. The position sensor is at the front of the manifold visible behind the oil filter.
Hi know this is off topic but i have a 2014 a5 and can't find the location for were the front impact airbag sensors are located if that your car any chance you can make and post a video thank you i know there are somewhere behind the headlights well that is were i found the wire connector just hanging

After replacing this sensor did the check engine light come back on?
He said it fixed the problem, my guess is that didn't came back on
I had this code...but my lines on that sensor was just connected wrong back wrong..
How do you squeeze those damn tabs?? Lol
