His style is brave and takes highly intelligent players....and wow....the players damn respect Vincent Kompany. You can literally tell how Joshua Kimmich is ready to wage a war...Jamal Musiala is becoming more effective without less show dribbling....Minjae Kim and Dayton Upamecano are becoming harder to beat....you can tell they are fighting like animals trying to hold the zero...and his treatment of Leon Goretzka, giving him a fair chance.... And the firepower of this team is ridiculous...most teams play catenaccio against FC Bayern München....and they STILL remain patient and keep trying until someone scores. The main difference i have observed is that the transition from attack to defense has became a lot better....and the offensive players are trying to score from ANY position. They lately started embracing trying to score from far distance against these super defensive teams. Thats why it might look like they are wasting many chances....the teams playing offensive tactically usually end up slaughtered by Bayern München....the teams with 10 players in their own half better have a World class goakeeper.... The losses against Aston Villa for example or FC Barcelona...i seriously believe these type of losses will disappear in the second half of the year. The players are still trying to play the way Vincent Kompany demands....and those fans like me that follow the training....they know that the players are working phenomenally hard but with fun. Its been a while since we had a coach this much loved by the players..he us.... literally ONE of them. What he has done with Dayton Upamecano and Minjae Kim is absolutely phenomenal. Its like watching two completely different styles of defending working together. Upamecano ia fast, great passing abilities and phenomenal concerning where to go/move to. Minjae Kim is slowly returning to the world class defending he did in Napoli...tackling like his life depends on it, man marking unfortunate victims and guaranteeing the opponents striker to have a really bad day. They both seem to finally connect and the nervous mistakes that we seen under Tuchel.....they stopped completely. And with a experienced Manuel Neuer behind the AND a interceptor like Joao Palhinha infront of them...they are impressive center backs.
People tend to forget bayern gave away key defenders and has atleast 2 to 3 out due to injury. Bayern will be much stronger in the latter half of the season.
They've had many impressive results against weaker opponents, but they have also struggled everytime they had to go up against real opposition so far. Draws against Leverkusen and Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, losses against Aston Villa and Barca. Yes they won against PSG, so they get better on that front, but you just need to look at the CL table to see that they are far from dominating Europe. Yes in the league they can pretty much only beat themselves (though if BVB brings their A game at Westfalenstadion, Bayern is far from being the favorite in that game), but they still have some work to do before they reach the level of Liverpool, Inter or Barca. But yes, Kompany has done a great job so far and while I'm far from being a fan of Bayern, he seems to be a great personality that I only wish the best.
As a Bayern fan, I can tell this wasn't made by a Bayern or Bundesliga fan 😂 Bayern is far from destroying its opponents. Company has gotten the defense working but the attack has fizzled out.
Firstly, it would help if you could spell your own manager's name right. Secondly just because the attack has fizzled out recently doesnt mean you werent scoring goals for fun earlier in the season lol 36 goals in 11 matches, 5 wins in a row, undefeated in the league. I wasn't gonna respond but i question whether you yourself are a bayern with that moronic comment.
@@PedTalksFutbol Thats true what he said. Bayern recently struggling front of the goal, scored only 1 goal in the last 6 games(Against Augsburg they scored 3 but 2 was from a penalty). Its the problem with the wingers now, especially Gnabry/Sane/Coman all missed crazy chances in the recent games, watch the highlights back, start with the game against St. Pauli and then so on till the game against Dortmund. If they can just sign a new left winger(an Olise type winger would be perfect) and a backup striker if Kane gets injured, then no team in the bundesliga will stop them. In the other hand, since the Barcelona defeat, Kompany switched up on the tactics when it comes to defending counters. The usual high line is not anymore that high, and he changed up the pressing a little bit as well. Watch the full 90 minutes against Frankfurt and Barcelona then go watch the full 90 minutes against PSG and Dortmund. You will notice the difference instantly.
Great vid great work ,but that give me an age old question again that how good are managers like Pep ,Luis Enrique ,or Kompany if you have a beautiful philosophy but can only make it work whit world class talent how good does it make you ,that’s why Mourinho is the goat of this generation of manger leading à Porto to a CL when he whas far from the better team and he won whit Inter again not the best team and won many other competion yes the style is not always the most attractive but it bring trophy’s !!
Hard to compare, because it's far from easy to manage those high caliber teams. There are tons of examples where top managers failed to succeed with star-studded teams. Also, of course you can't play advanced tactics like Barca-style tiki--taka if you don't have the players for it, and I'll give credit to Pep for adapting his style to the other teams he managed. But yeah I kinda agree, because I also prefer managers who can improve players the way Mourinho did in Porto or Klopp did in Mainz, Dortmund and even Liverpool. My favorite probably being managers like former coach of SC Freiburg Christian Streich, because what he did with such a small club is, in my view, way more impressive than winning the Bundesliga ten times in a row with a team full of star players and more money than any other club in Germany can compete with. Coaches like Heidenheim's Frank Schmitt or 2nd League's sensation Elversberg's Horst Steffen. Though, with those, you can turn your question around by asking if those could successfully manage a big club like Bayern with all the media pressure and the constant interference by ex-officials like Uli Hoeness.
11 Games Bundesliga, 5 Games CL and 2 Games DFB-Pokal. So far, they lost 2 games (Barca and Leeds, although being on par or better) had 2 draws and won 14 times! Their goal ratio in these 18 games is 56:14!
@@Rabauke84 I'm a Bayern Munich fan and follow them daily. I assure you that this is nothing but the club's basic bare standard. Tuchel's little run is not a standard to be compared to but a glitch in their successful history. There's nothing special going on but good old-fashioned effectiveness, which needs to be consistent until the end. Once the season reaches the last stages, then we'll see!
@@Adastra14 I'm also a fan and I can tell you, it feels good to see more games without a concealed goal. This was a huge problem, since the days Pep left us. @hivishal896 1-0 away from home against a top team is not indicative of a manager that's doing poorly. He clearly got Bayern Munich back on track performing on par with how Julian Nagelsman was if not better. The great team he inherited was struggling against literal bottom tier clubs, with just Olise and Paulinha he managed to go from struggling against Stuttgart to beating them 4-0. Once they sort out their defensive problems they will compete for champions league.

Kompany is a great coach when he has great players, obviously his system doesn't work when the players aren't good enough.
Finally Harry Kane will win a major trophy
