Masking tape is versatile stuff actually, for example if you want to make flags and banners, just take a bit of tin foil and cover both sides with masking tape, you can then shape it however you want and paint it to suit your army

For Blood Pack, the blooded Kill Team and the Cadian shock troop kits actually mix together really well. Not just head swaps but mixing bodies arms etc. It's all the same size and you get a nice mix of the raggedy chaos stuff and the well organised military unit.

I have another top for those cloaks on the Tanith. Before you prime it, give it a thinned coat of PVA glue - you won't be able to thin it too far because masking tape is slightly absorbant and you might find that it sags. But if you thin the PVA down to a similar consistency to layer paints and then coat the cloak, this will basically turn the masking tape cloak into a plastic cloak. I use this technique for making home made banners

Fantastic Tanith, the capes look great!
I’d recommend to anyone doing Praetorians to look up 3rd party pith helmet heads at
    Anvil industries
    Victoria Miniatures
    Atlantic Wargames.
They have the best ones. Atlantic will require green stuffing the necks tho.

Ditto on Wargames Atlantic. They make fine Praetorians, including arms holding cups of tea. (They also have the ever popular Les Grognards, for replicating Vostroyans. On another note, I'm partial to using their Afghan kit as Tallarn, myself.).

Keep up the good work 👏 definitely like the kitbash "How to add Variety to your army" videos and going through the paint process. If you have a part 3 with more regiments, I'm sure everyone would love to see it. Different Heads and Insignia for the different Imperial Guard Regiments. I’m not usually one for commenting, but this is something i’ve noticed a lot in the community. Nobody ever seems to do the blood pact with the actual grotesques, it’s all either skulls or (worse) just ignored entirely! Even in White Dwarf!
I used milliput to sculpt grotesques onto my Blooded Kill Team, it wasn’t particularly hard, considering that was my first attempt at sculpting, and seems a bit easier than carving up faces! What made you stray away from the original design?

What I like the most about the Blood Pact is HOW they worship Khorne. Yes, they do the whole blood for the blood god thing but they also remember that Khorne is also a big fan of military disciplin and strategy, something 99% of the Khorne worshipers forget the moment they decide to worship Khorne. For Khorne that is as important as blood and skulls, a well executed plan and a disciplined army that can take a city or planet without killing almost everyone is just as exciting. But that aspect of him isn't something GW likes to show that much :/

For those who may not be reliant on a GW for gaming and don't need to stick with 100% GW parts, I'd recommend Wargames Atlantic Bulldogs from the Death Fields range. As well as pith helmets (gasmask and non-gasmask variants), the kit contains beret heads (for Tanith) and peaked caps (Mordians). They are 'heroic' 28mm as well so scale well with GW kits. The Les Grognards kit has a multitude of sci fi versions of historical French uniform heads including bearskins if you need a Vostroyan fix.
