7:49 - A much easier way to do camouflage wrapping on guns is masking tape and super glue. Take one to three layers of masking tape(depending on how thick you want it), cut a thin strip, wrap it around your gun however you want, then carefully cover it in super glue using a thin nozel glue tip (if you get your super glue from Poundland it comes with small nozel adapters, which work well for this task). Do less than you think, you can always add more later. Wipe off any excess. The glue will make it rock hard and very strong.
This way is much better than green stuff as the masking tape won't stretch or malform (no annoying finger prints!) and will gently stick to your models without damaging them, so you can reposition it as many times as you like without too much issue. You can also do a much thinner strip than you can with green stuff and the masking tape texture is perfect. The hardest part is coating it with super glue and not getting your fingers stuck to it.

Just like the scots used, if you roll out the "blanket" and then fold it many times, you get the same what you have here, but in a more storytelling way. And instead of making it just go around, have to ends hang on one side next to each other, maybe tied together with a rope, or a pin.

In the Canadian Armed Forces, the trigger guard, that little piece of metal that makes it impossible to use mittens while shooting a rifle, can be removed. It's held in place by two little pins that can be taken out with the tip of a ball point pen, if you know what you're doing. Once it's out of the way, you can fire the weapon while wearing big arctic mukluk-style mittens and staying nice and snuggly warm.

@@TheRincewind64 We know, still a cool idea regardless.
Its kinda weird that the Sisters are fairly uniform across the board. Ideas like this could be a cool way to make more unique orders.
I guess would you want to do more heavily armoured Kreig models with a more feminine shape (maybe hollowing out sister helmets to hit over the Gas mask heads), and swapping the las guns for bolters, might be better to wait and see if GW make grenadier bodies for the Kreig if you want to go down this route.
But doing kreig versions with the power armoured sisters seams like a much harder project since you can't really do much to change the power armour, besides maybe resculpting the helmet to have the coal scuttle shape of the Kreig helmet, or sculpting the heads to have masks, or adding grenadier-like lobster armour ontop of the bodies?

i think you should try kitbashing schaffer last chancers, like i love the freedom that would give you to make your own suicide squad style kill team

I use margarine to lube my tools for sculpting. It’s the best lube I have found, easy to clean with long working time.

Just because they’re close to the Krieg look, the steel legion would be perfect to kitbash

I'm thinking that you could use the krieg body and legs with maybe the head and then use cadian arms for the more modern lasgun

Awesome kitbash. If I had one small nitpick it would be the chain sword hanging lower than the base. I personally might have trimmed the shoulder a bit more aggressively and had him leveling the chain sword towards his enemies.
I love what you did with the sniper, I'll definitely be adding that to some of my future models

Great job, as usual. The funny thing is that this piece of fabric over the shoulder should be rolled wool coat not a bedroll, cause it's based on an imperial Russian/Red army uniform (ironically on summer uniform), but Valhallans are already in the coat.

You can also use the victoria miniatures heads for valhallans, which are pretty good quality

Can we all take a moment for the brave Krieg plastic models we’ve been crying out for for years that wear sacrificed in this conversion. They do look great and I have to say I miss they old mordian tallern and valhallan models GW used to produce.

This video has shown me an issue that I may have with my own kitbash for my Kasrkin killteam. I am going to be using veteran guardsman heads on Kasrkin bodies to make a Kerberos unit killteam. I'll probably have to make use of some greenstuff to get the heads to fit nicely.

I never get bored of watching this, it's so inspiring. I'd love to make an entire army like this despite the effort involved... but I'll wait for the new range release in case they release valhallan sprues :)

I get that you don't do third party for this series, but if anyone wants to recreate this, use Third Party Heads instead of trying to sculpt them on Cadians. It's infinitely easier, will look much better and more varied, and won't be much more expensive(if at all)
