This just might be me talking.. but you should do some of your own projects for a bit. Don't worry about what the community wants. You've gotten so much better at the conversions, but it feels like there's not a lot of passion for recent ones... it all feels more mechanical. I especially noticed this when I went back to watch some of your old ones from two and three years ago.
I saw his Baal auxilia just and it was kinda meh, just a storm cast mask on the new cadians. Baal humans roam the radioactive desert on vehicles, max style if they had a pdf the logical starting place would be the ash wastes nomads, but with bikes instead of bugs.
@@livanbard I liked it, but thats a matter of taste. They are afterall the auxilia force of a space marine chapter, so I could see them being more organized, although perhabs a more radsuit looking kit would have been better, like the navy breachers kill team?
I think, if we are talking purely of Human forces, the guard from Nocturn (Vulkan's homeworld) could be a really cool thing to kitbash. I'm sure there is something you can do with the Salamanders (The animal not the Legion) in said kitbash, they'd make for impressive mounts for Space Marines and Guard alike.
This would be an incredibly cool army, I imagine that a some tank segments could recieve the same marble treatment, also getting ultramarine standards from things like the horus heresy and recasting and spreading it throughout the army could be awesome
I’d like to see Baal’s defense force. The idea that noble blood angels and irradiated desert guard fought together against the tyrannids makes me smile.
One point. Matt varnish is not a protective layer at all. To get a protective layer use satin/gloss with matt mixed in or just matt the model after gloss/satin hardens.
Could you do a Fenrisian Guardmens captian please I love the imperial guard and the space wolves. I always imagined what the guard would look like on Fenris but could never kitbash one together.
Excellent video! I'm not even an Ultramarine fan, but this was a solid kitbash and painting video. Would love to see more chapter auxilia, or even things like Tau Gue'vesa after your myconid xenos kitbash.
I would love to see more of these, there's something intriguing about transferring the culture and personality of the Marines chapters onto guard models.
One idea that I've been thinking about, but don't know if I'll ever do: Prospero Spireguard, built around the Lumineth spearmen with their crests cut off.
Been really getting into Imperial Fist lore since I decided to start an Imperial Fist Horus Heresy army. And I would love to see a take on the Auric Auxilia that defend the Phalanx
I've often said to myself that the Iron Golems Warcry band would make a fantastic base from which to build Iron Warriors Auxilia. I'd love to see your take on the idea!
I'd love to see the 30k warriors from Caliban, before the emepror arrives with the dark angels. They are said to still wear a form of power armour and weild swords and pistols if I remember correctly!
Using the crackle type paint and some sanding then the marble painting can allow for some really nice veins to reverse wash. Especially if you want to throw some metallic veins in the mix
As always, these are both inspiring and invigorating for the kitbashing fire within. While the model itself came out amazing, the bit that really drew me in was the base work. I think I am finally ready to try that some day soon. Great stuff!
Been watching your vids for a while and finally used your pinning technique for the first time to attach an alternate axe head to Asteroth the grim. Thanks for your awesome content.
Looking great! Love the idea of scouring tiles in to the base, definitely going to look at that for some cool dungeon themed bases! Any plans for a fun Dawi Zharr conversion to celebrate the announcement of the Chaos Dwarfs for Total Warhammer 3?
I remember commenting about this a while ago (years maybe?), it's great to see the Ultramarine Auxilia brought to life to the gold standard of model conversions. Please, please do this for other chapters as well.
Fuck yeah always love seeing someone's art or digibashes being made a reality. Especially Kabewski's, I remember someone even making a kitbash of their Egg Marine lmao
Came for Space Marine Legions, but I am staying for these Astra Militarum regiments! I would really like to see your take on a 'Calibanite'/Dark Angels auxilia regiment. I think the recent Vortigern men-at-arms kitbash using the Adeptus Arbites kit could be a good start as it has a sort of Cuirass and exudes a medieval kind of feel.
I remember suggesting this a while back (I doubt you just took my suggestion, but I like to think that I helped with this video 😅), would love to see an Excindio in honour of the DAs getting some love in the books and potentially 10th Edition
Great job on the conversion, really cool to see a lesser known faction getting some love. I did see you were struggling a bit when adding the tile lines on the base. If you're planning to do more similar things in the future you might want to look into getting a panel line scriber like the tamiya plastic scriber
I'm always so impressed by your techniques and skill! I've only just started a couple months ago and haven't finished that many models yet, but your videos keep me excited to improve my skill and help me become more confident in making choices of paints and how I apply them. I've always wondered how long it takes you to fully assemble and paint a kitbashed mini though 😅
hey pete great conversion, i noticed you have 30 seconds of black screen at the end not sure if people leaving before the vids finished will mess with your rentention times but thought i would mention it. take care dude
Beautiful piece, as always. I just wished the gloves would be white instead, so the troops could read his signs easier from afar. Would also fit the helmet decor.
Have you ever seen the technique of using gauze or cheesecloth with Noch leaves to make a ghillie suit or cloak? I think it would really suit one of your Raptors or a similarly stealthy and practical chapter.
Awesome video. Always love guard conversions, adding variety to the guard is one of my favourite things. Could you possibly kitbash a serf or guard for the Black Templars please?
I've always been keen on doing Blood Angels Serf armsmen of somekind, I'm thinking like the covers of the 5th ed and inside the 8th ed books having red robes and gold masquarade masks carrying oversized eviscerators and bolters of their own
I would love to see some kitbashes for Avengorii dynasty vampires. Maybe find a way to make Blood Knights look a bit more monstrous? Kitbash a better Vargheist model?
I'd love to see you tackle the members of the Rynn's World PDF regiment. There isn't much on them but they can be seen on a few of the newer Crimson Fists novels.
That's a brilliant conversion and paint job! I had a similar idea for some Ultramar styled Cadian shock troops. If it's possible, it would be interesting to see a whole unit with this theme. A white scars auxilia would be interesting to see! might try one my self actually! haha
I love your videos ! It's perfect to watch while painting or just for the pleasur to watch superbe kitbash ! thanks for that ! Hope to see even more kill team like your space marine and grey knight !

Could you do a vid displaying all your miniature you made
This just might be me talking.. but you should do some of your own projects for a bit. Don't worry about what the community wants. You've gotten so much better at the conversions, but it feels like there's not a lot of passion for recent ones... it all feels more mechanical.

Kabewski makes excellent mock-ups, his currently chapter auxilia series is so good
His ideas help others create idea! And he has some great ideas
Where can I find his work?
I saw his Baal auxilia just and it was kinda meh, just a storm cast mask on the new cadians. Baal humans roam the radioactive desert on vehicles, max style if they had a pdf the logical starting place would be the ash wastes nomads, but with bikes instead of bugs.

A Salamander auxilia force BUT with a Salamander scout tank. So you can salamander while you salamander next to the Salamanders!
@@chaosgrunt9554 Genius!
@@chaosgrunt9554 As a salamander SM player I would love to go unto the anvil with fellow salamanders :D
i would love to see that
Well guess what... He's done it! Recent video
I knew that silhouette the minute i saw it. Awesome seeing Kabewski's ideas realized in plastic
Please recreate more kabewski kitbashes! Love this 😍
This would be an incredibly cool army, I imagine that a some tank segments could recieve the same marble treatment, also getting ultramarine standards from things like the horus heresy and recasting and spreading it throughout the army could be awesome

The headpiece you added is actually called an Italic, it is essentially the same as a plume, but is a separate piece of armour decoration
I would love to see more of these, there's something intriguing about transferring the culture and personality of the Marines chapters onto guard models.
Yeah! I wonder what the guard feom the ravenguards world is like?
I personally love Ultramar Auxilia and it’s awesome to see such a well made commander. It looks awesome!
Wait, theres a regiments feom the phalanx??
Oh that's pretty damn sick. Now I'm low-key hope for Solar auxiliary based on WOLFDAWG's artwork
Thank you , Pete .

PDF , From Fhenris . (Space wolf Homeworld ) Pleeze ,Cheers .
🐺
Would love too see the Auric Auxillia, the Imperial Fists Phalanx ship garrison that has taken in a ton of Cadians.
I would love to see you reqlise more kabewski designs, they would make for incredible videos
Hyped! Crack open a cold one and watch Pete build and paint an awesome mini
I love these combined conversions and painting guides. I’ve learned so much about model assembly and painting from these videos! Thank you!
I'd love to see you try your hand at the Blood Angels Blood Thralls, or the PDF of Deliverance, the Raven Guard's home planet (moon).
March on Macragge! For Monarchia! For Lorgar! March for Monarchia brothers of the word!!! These auxilia are a worthy offering!
That marble effect was mind blowing!
I've often said to myself that the Iron Golems Warcry band would make a fantastic base from which to build Iron Warriors Auxilia. I'd love to see your take on the idea!
Love to see this, keep it up! I was wondering if there would ever be another homebrew chapter competition again?
Looks great! I’d definitely love to see you convert more Chapter/Legion Auxilia. I think a Prospero Spireguard conversion would be good.
This is so effing cool! Awesome paint job.
Excellent conversion, expecially the helmet, these new plastic minis don't make regret the old metallic ones.
Thank you very much Pete. I already made my own for a friend's present. I really like to make conversions of unknown regiments
You are getting cleaner and cleaner at these conversions! Keep 'em coming! :D
I'd love to see the 30k warriors from Caliban, before the emepror arrives with the dark angels. They are said to still wear a form of power armour and weild swords and pistols if I remember correctly!
I would love to see some Iron Hands chapter serfs/planetary guard
Your mastery of the craft is so inspiring! I aspire to be as good as you some day.
Using the crackle type paint and some sanding then the marble painting can allow for some really nice veins to reverse wash. Especially if you want to throw some metallic veins in the mix
One of your best conversions yet!
As always, these are both inspiring and invigorating for the kitbashing fire within. While the model itself came out amazing, the bit that really drew me in was the base work. I think I am finally ready to try that some day soon. Great stuff!
I play Ultramarines and just started my guard army, so you gave me an excellent idea, thanks!
Your Chaos Cultist videos were so good, you should totally do as many of these as you can!
This might be my favorite of any of your kitbashes
Lovely conversion as always. Would love to see some larger models next, like maybe an imperial knight or an armiger
Been watching your vids for a while and finally used your pinning technique for the first time to attach an alternate axe head to Asteroth the grim. Thanks for your awesome content.
Thank you man. I love that regiment esthetic, and I love convertions
Great idea and definitely easy enough to apply across a larger force.
I'd love to see you use Magnus and/or a Lord of Change to make Corvus Corax in his demonic form.
Both yours and Kabewski model are awesome BUT your colors are something else... Its so goood
would love to see more guard conversions!!! Love how you made one that's practical to create a whole army with.
Would love to see more of these.
OOOOOH I've been waiting for this ever since the supporter release teaser!
Love getting to see your painting process!
Looking great! Love the idea of scouring tiles in to the base, definitely going to look at that for some cool dungeon themed bases!
Any plans for a fun Dawi Zharr conversion to celebrate the announcement of the Chaos Dwarfs for Total Warhammer 3?
Amazing video, this is the loyalist version of the chapter specific cultist series that I’ve been hoping for
I remember commenting about this a while ago (years maybe?), it's great to see the Ultramarine Auxilia brought to life to the gold standard of model conversions. Please, please do this for other chapters as well.
I loved this video, incredible result, it almost makes me want to start doing this kitbash myself.
You’ve already inspired me to build Valhallans, but I might build three of these as Regimental Attachés
Great conversion and paint job. I don’t collect or play Cadians, but I think I’m picking this model up!
Fuck yeah always love seeing someone's art or digibashes being made a reality. Especially Kabewski's, I remember someone even making a kitbash of their Egg Marine lmao
Awsome work again. Very lovely miniture with style.
Im fairly new to this channel but I gotta say a guard army of kit bashed Ultramar Auxiliary is a genius idea.

Absolutely sick dude, would be great to see other auxiliaries for other chapters

Looks like this one’s gonna be another banger. We’ve seen some awesome bashes recently! 🔥🔥🔥
Fabulous as always...perhaps some Dark Angel or Blood Angel auxiliaries next as serve on their battlefleet, on Baal or the Rock
Great video, never heard of the wet wipe technique till I saw this, thanks for a new thing to tryout down the road.
Beautiful work, the only critique I have is I wish the sword was a power sword paint job since there is a power cable sticking outta the back.
More of these please. How would you do a regular guardsman? And what would space wolves auxilia look like?
looks great. I'd love to see this done with other chapters!
I really look forward to these videos! Thanks man!

Would love to see a kitbash of the Tyrant’s Legion auxiliary forces mentioned in the Badab War books!!
Great tangent for your skills, great inspiration.
Awesome video. Always love guard conversions, adding variety to the guard is one of my favourite things.
Could you possibly kitbash a serf or guard for the Black Templars please?
awesome, i would like make Fenris auxilia one day. congrats for ur job
Great video! Such an amazing conversion.
I would love to see Prospero Spireguard
How have i not found your channel before now. SUBSCRIBED!

Wow, this turned out great! Request for a Blood Angels version please!
Holy crap that looks awesome! You should do the Kiavahr PDF next!
I'd love to see you tackle the members of the Rynn's World PDF regiment. There isn't much on them but they can be seen on a few of the newer Crimson Fists novels.
You should consider a “Necromundan” PDF, for the Imperial Fists - With its sordid history, I’d love to see what options you come up with!
That's a brilliant conversion and paint job! I had a similar idea for some Ultramar styled Cadian shock troops. If it's possible, it would be interesting to see a whole unit with this theme.
A white scars auxilia would be interesting to see! might try one my self actually! haha
Amazing as aways! Maybe with the Lions return you could do something related to the Dark Angels. Maybe a mini for Luther?
Fantastic work as always! I would love to see space Wolf Serfs or Iron Hand serfs.
Amazing conversion! I'd love to see a similar build for the Chapter serfs of the Vlka Fenryka!
I love that the ultramarines even have an upgrade spruce, despite literally all the space marines kits use them as a foundation.
I love your videos ! It's perfect to watch while painting or just for the pleasur to watch superbe kitbash !
thanks for that ! Hope to see even more kill team like your space marine and grey knight !
I recommend some of the planetary defense forces mentioned in the ciaphas Cain novels (or Cain himself) off memory they were quite uniquely colored
One of my favorites
I'd love to see a squad made like this, amazing work :)
I'd love to see your take on an Iron Hands chapter serf / PDF
This would be a really cool theme for an army in a game of 40k. Ultramarines running Ultramar Auxilia as an ally or vice versa.
