@@Shadow-Shell no Ms Marvel. Iman Vellani is current starting on an official comic run where Ms Marvel comes by as a mutant. I know Ms Marvel is an inhuman but (spoilers) once she died, she came by as an official mutant.

I'd've added a "Vanguard" category. They're your frontline/first-on-the-scene type, whether that takes the form of a subtle infiltrator, a frenzied shock trooper, or anything in-between. I'd also switch "Psychic" to "Powerhouse" for big powers being thrown around, or maybe even make them two distinct categories. Those characters could easily slot into the "Heavy" category too, but I like the potential diversity of characters.
This was a fun watch.
I’d actually like to see Storm be the newcomer in the movies. Going from being born in America, coming of age in Africa, then joining the team and going back to America as a young adult could be an interesting perspective. Also add in the difference between people in Africa praising her abilities and people in America hating her for them would show the differences in how mutants are treated all over the world.
Brandon not having Jubilee has got to be the biggest upset in Breakroom history lol

I think they should go with the original team of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Ice man, Beast and Angel and have them already be a team and then interduce Storm, Nightcrawler and Colossus in the second and third acts and I think the brotherhood of evil mutants should be Magneto, Toad, Mystique, Master mind, Avalanche, Emma frost and Pyro and in a post credit scene tease Juggernaut
introduce storm's storyline and the gods first (going deep into her lineage), then prehistoric avengers vs celestials then apocalypse, evolutionary wars (1900s to present, including wolverine), arrival of dominion, before jumping straight to mutant discrimination stories set a few years from now (2030). That means your jean grey, cyclops and the rest show up laterrrrrrrr, like in a movie set in 2031.

I know you guys focus more on MCU, but I’d love to hear what your thoughts are on not only the Krakoa era of X-Men comics but all X-Men centered comics. 🤩
The Summers family would give any team a run for their money. Just by sheer numbers if nothing else. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Vulcan, Havok, Hope, Nate, Ruby, Rachel, Cable, Hyperstorm and Stryfe. If Rachel’s baby daddy Franklin Richards showed up too no team would stand a chance. It’s the craziest family tree in comics
If you're including Ruby, you kind of need to include Emma, which actually adds some other branches. You could also bring in Madelyne Pryor given she's Cable's actual mom.
Jessica's team is dope but I give it to Brandon. One reason: Storm
Beak, Glob Hermann, and forget-me-not are all excellent characters! I'd take all three of them and put them on my team for sure. In at least one universe beak is ripped and looks like an eagle man more than a chicken man. Glob Hermann lights himself on fire to beat the shit out of people, and forget-me-not is the ultimate in Infiltration. Teamed with a telepathically capable person he'd be incredible.

@@BlueCheeseLucci magneto can absolutely be in the heavy category because if you wanna go off size and muscles than he’s bigger and more dominant compared to Wolverine… Wolverine is short and stalky and magneto is tall and muscular. But 1v1 magneto obviously wins. Yet people allow wolverine in the heavy spot. Magneto is a powerhouse in strength. Plus the whole point of the categories were to allow the possibility of versatility among one another and ur wrong.

Jessica had the missed opportunity to put Glob as the Newcomer POV character. Glob was indoctrinated by his father until his mutation became apparent. His mom had to abandon him in front of the Xavier Institute to protect him. As a narrative choice, he would be perfect. Another would be Joshua Foley. The kid was disowned by his parents when his mutant powers manifested and was self hating. Currently, he's an omega level mutant and a member of the Five.

Cyclops (older and more violent since Jeans death) commands the Krakoan field team with Hank as his mentor and Emma as his co-captain (and love interest). Psylocke and Rouge help recruit and train Legion after learning he's the professor's son. Shipping Psylocke and Legion as well.
Also Anna Paquin Rouge is older, strong af and can fly and shit.
