Let's consider things based on the most basic logic. All media in China are controlled by the government. All the military and police in China are also controlled by the government. If I want to persecute some people or this place was once very dangerous, would I still allow tourists to come in and travel and let them take some evidence? Why was Xinjiang not open to tourists before but is open now? In China, it is always said that Western media tell lies. If they tell lies, why don't they open up media freedom and Internet freedom and allow Chinese people to go on RUclips? Is it because they are afraid that Chinese people will tell lies and slander them? What happened recently in Urumqi, Xinjiang, some people were burned to death in fires because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the government's lockdown policy. You can search for these on RUclips and see all the videos. But in China you can't find any information, and all the tourists like to talk about China's security issues. China has a lot of cameras and it's very safe, but these cameras can only find criminals. You can't offend any Chinese officials, otherwise the cameras will find you quickly. If your friends, classmates, and family are persecuted by public power, you can't speak out, otherwise the person with public power will use the camera to find you quickly. When you travel to a place and you don't see anything, you say these things didn't happen. That's very unfair to those who were persecuted and died, just like when I traveled to Germany and I didn't see any Jews being persecuted. In fact, you can. If some things have never happened, why does the West choose Xinjiang and Tibet? Why don't they mention provinces like Guangdong and Guangxi? Because Xinjiang is for Uyghurs and Tibet is for Tibetans. You can search for videos of the suppression of these two provinces on RUclips, but you can't find videos of the suppression of Guangdong and Guangxi. Why? Because it really happened.

The main reason why security is much more visible in Xinjiang (technically, it, along with Tibet and a couple more regions, is an autonomous region and NOT a province) is the sad fact that it has suffered several rounds of terror attacks which were incited by foreign governments (we can all guess who they are). I suppose common sense (dressing modestly especially the ladies, not consuming alcohol so openly or overly display of physical intimacy etc) would suffice and ensure a pleasant trip along with the usual situational awareness. My understanding is that Tibet is the one of the stricter and more sensitive region (for non-Chinese) where foreigners need to be in a registered tour group (thus, 'permission') to enter. Anyway, given Tibet's high altitude, it might not be suitable for children. Looking forward to seeing your other Xinjiang videos. Hope that you would get the chance to visit its natural scenery (which is the main attraction) rather than just the big cities or towns.
It's because Xinjiang is the main land route of the Belt and Road Initiative. The US are hellbent on making it not happen, attempting to sow as much discord and division, that's the reality of the Empire of Lies.

Xinjiang produces excellent grapes, dates, figs, nuts. Cotton and solar panels too.
And melons too. My favorites.
and cotton。
@@bobbychang2223 Xinjiang cotton are planted in large fields using machinery extensively. Very few farmers needed. Some varieties were needed by western military to produce ammunition, there were sporadic shortage.
and tomto
A happy family! Bless you all!❤
Xinjiang is beautiful and safe.
Amazing and wonderful to see you guys there❤ so good on you as global warrior's sharing the truth with the world and it's so needed❤
wah!!! Hope you have good time there!!
Great parents while educating the kids with world knowledge. Well done!!
The Hutchinsons, you are a great and fabulous family. Your 'news' are much much more credible than those of BBC, Daily Telegraph and The Guardian. Stay well and enjoy.
Woooow, these three beautiful girls are so lucky to have you two as parents!!
Thank you so much 🥰
Actually, when I see security guards I feel safe, I know that bad people don't dare to do anything there.
Many of the police officers are Uyghurs.
Used to do business there. Tbh, Xinjiang is one of the safest places in this crazy world😢 same as Beijing.
Thank you for sharing the video to show us what Xinjiang really like
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR WONDERFUL VIDEO OF CHINA, XINJIANG! 👍👏👏
I would highly recommend you all to visit Dali and Lijiang Ancient, Yunan where there are a lot of beautiful places to visit. Before visiting the places, you all could visit Stone Forest and flower market in Kunming, capital of Yunan. Have a nice trip !
Urumqi, like the rest of China, is on Beijing time. Hence the 'late' sunset In Autumn. In summer, the hottest time of the day is not midday but around 3PM. And yes, temperatures drop abruptly whe the sun goes down! So be prepared ..
Lovely family, good video, fantastic Xinjiang!
Bendiciones infinitas!
🙏🏼
The kids are so happy, love this moment
There's on 1 time zone in China. Sun sets at 10:30pm in Xinjiang.
Xinjiang have beautiful sceneries.
It is exotic as well.
I was so delighted to see you all having great fun together in the park which made me so touched, wish you good luck and have fun all the way !
Foreigners used be able to travel in Tibet FREELY, but thanks to CIA and terrorists groups they back which make every place as dangerous as they like
the pedal-powered rides are such a smart design. It has extra fun factor and more environmental friendly as well.
Thanks
Thank you 🙏🏼
It’s a clean energy concept and like you said powered by parents - interesting and your children will remember this day out with their parents 👍👍👍
This is really an excellent parent-child interactive entertainment activity!
Love your videos, good family bonding activities at an early age creates long lasting happy memories memories and love even when you become old and your children have grown up, married and have their own family.
Seeing the end where you and your children were happily eating kebabs reminded me of an earlier video I saw about the children starving and dirty, suffering from the war in Gaza.
This is so much contrast to the life and sufferings of humanity.
Evil 👿 are those who go to war against children.
Best Xinjiang tour video ever❤
Awww thank you ☺️ ❤
Good exercise for daddy to power up the little roller coaster.
It sure is!
Forced parents labour indeed
they can't say no for this to their lovely little girls😂😂😂
I used to think how we can conserve the energy from exercise bikes in the gym (with ppl riding them) and use it for something. So, imagine my surprise to see this in a Chinese children's park. 👍😂
As a mom with young children I just want to compliment on your kids, it’s not always pleasant for young kids to travel somewhere completely unfamiliar and without kids entertainments, not to mention if the parents are always working/filming. They are sooooo gooood!!!
I am Studying At East china university of technology At jianxi province , Nanchang city .i am a bangladeshi .
You Can Explore The Nanchang Down-Town City .
What a beautiful family, Wish you all have a nice and joyful trip!
What a funny trip with family ❤
You manage so well with three little girls on a long trip, very impressive, have fun!
Thanks!
13:40 That is the "Daddy-Coaster"!! It requires the dad to ride the bike as fast as they can to power the tiny rollercoaster for their kids...
China is a beautiful, modern, safe and friendly country. ❤❤
What an amazing family. Thank you for sharing the real side of Xinjiang. The smile on the children tells it all.
The Hutchinsons really go deep into Asia to experience the culture. Showing the world the true China and Asian lifestyle, not what is portrayed in Western media. This is a real adventurous family, not afraid to immerse themselves with the locals. Maybe 0.0001% of Western families are going to China in general, let alone Xinjiang. This is where the Hutchinsons separate themselves from other travel youtube families.
Thank you for showing us how Xinjiang is like. I am Chinese person but I haven’t get a chance to go to Xinjiang. You guys bring me the desire to go there. ❤❤
Your family members are really lovely! have a great time with your daughter!
I visit xinjiang in spring many new roads and infrastructure being build people are happy they hated US government for all the lie and propaganda about xinjiang not much tourists this a a beautiful part of China happy that your family get a chance to visit.
Love the kids playground. Beautiful city too. Thank you for sharing the video.
Can you guys visit "Lijiang Ancient Town" in the Yunnan province if you haven't visited it yet. It's a change of scenery from the urban megacities and gives you the chance to see what parts of rural China looks like.
Happy holidays in China
A happy familiy in a happy place
You are educating me, a Chinese out of the country more than 38 years ago and I am in Birmingham, AL, USA. I never be in XingJian before and thank you to show me the beautiful scenic sites and good people there there.
14:33 she is so happy🤣
A peaceful Xinjiang, where everyone can smile genuinely, is the result of the security measures we have in place, especially after the tragic events of July 5th that year.
Enjoyed your walk in Xinjiang immensely! Love watching everyone try local foods!
Military tank, security due to borders.
I’m very happy to see my hometown on RUclips. Our city is gradually moving out of the shadows of the past and starting to move forward.
