Hi Mally! We crossed paths at language school during a Coffee Chat. Thanks for sharing your reflections on your time in Japan and I do apologize for not seeking to spend more time with you when you were in Tokyo. Take care of yourself back in the UK and hope to meet you again in the future.
I appreciate how open you were about the worries you had while going through this experience! Really helpful to mentally prepare myself for when I go haha. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your experiences!
In September i went to japan the first time and was going alone too. I loved those 2 weeks and want to start a working holiday end of april next year. Have no exactly idea what or better how to do it but i think first im gonna visit a language school too. After that probably traveling with the motorcycle through the whole country haha
Congratulations to you man ! 1 year away from home I’m sure was an absolute challenge 💪 You smashed it ! Ann and I deffo would love to experience living in Japan just you have in the future 🇯🇵
Hello! I am going to be going on my own working holiday visa this November! Got a hotel Job for 4 months and I want to use the next 8 exploring/taking Japanese lessons. I know exactly how you feel when you described the loneliness and being invisible. I did a 2 Month solo trip and after a few weeks I had to find and make some foreign friends because I genuinely did not feel a part of society as I barely communicated to anyone at all. Hoping to make friends at work and school to avoid this happening again. Anyways I loved hearing your story! I love Japan and I can't wait for my own "Travel Across Japan" Arc.
Nice video! I met you once at a language exchange cafe in Tokyo at the start of your Working Holiday visa and had been following your journey on Instagram since then. I'd have liked to have met up with you again but I was very busy juggling my work and startup plans at the time. I hope to meet you again someday. Great video👍 I'd like to see more about your views of Japan, experiences there and future plans too
Hearing that you struggled to understand the keigo after attaining your level of proficiency makes me feel less bad about getting baffled at cashiers for 7eleven or McDonald's lol
とても共感できて心が温かくなるような話だった!後半の言語能力も大事だし性格も大事って話すごく共感できた!
