I wear mine everyday when I’m at my beach house twice a year at Oak Island NC. I was absolutely amazed at the complements about this Amazing Watch and then once they realize it’s a Rolex their heads almost just blow off lol. I Love it.
I just purchased a James Cameron Deep Sea and although it’s 44 mm, absolutely love it and fits nicely. While larger dials are not for everyone, there is a market for select consumers.
OJ you are a true and validated analyst. I am an avid Rolex collector and very knowledgeable of Rolex. Sir, you are spot on in your critical analysis. But the truth of the matter - this big bad boy is a true collector’s dream. Lol! It’s big yes but it’s a Rolex.
I know a dealer in the Diamond District in NYC who has one in the window and I’m not making this up. I’ve owned the 48mm Panerai PAM 194 for a while. Amazing piece But I have an entirely different question. What do you think about the Rolex Deepsea 18k gold?
I don’t think the diameter is a big deal. I had a g-shock MTG at 51.7mm diameter and the problem for me was the thickness. It just stood too high atop my wrist, it didn’t tuck well under sleeves or collars on gloves, it hit on every wall, when I had to reach in tight spaces since I’m a machine repair technician sometimes I had to take it off to fit my hand in places. It was just too thick. So I think that is the problem with this watch. It’s not practical for the thickness problem it has.
Nice of Rolex to make a homage watch as a nod to the Invicta Hydromax. However, for the money, I'd rather have 200 Invicta Hydromax watches which would be 75kg of stainless steel.
Thanks for the video OJ. It must look bigger in person because in this video it looks quite alright on you. Especially considering what it is and it’s capabilities. If you’re correct about them quietly coming out with a 45 or 47 mm in a few years that would pretty nice.
I liked the review but I don't think the 52mm case size is going to be a failure , I don't wear anything smaller than a 52mm , I'm not a big fan of 44mm or 48mm or small watches , even a 48mm looks too small on me , I just hope it comes in green
Hahaha 😆 do you realize the dial isn’t any bigger than the submariner dial so it’s not any more legible than a submariner. The case is thicker to withstand the water pressure but the dial is still a regular watch dial.
Hi I have a 8.5"wrist and get away with this watch would love to buy one and would wear it but as you said in the video not much chance of getting one with the state of the Rolex market .thanks John.
I have a 8.25” wrist to be honest I had a G-Shock MTG, it’s 51.7mm. The diameter wasn’t too bad, the problem was it’s thickness, I wasn’t a fan of how thick it was, it hit on everything, it didn’t tuck under long sleeve shirts well and it got hung up when trying to pull my sleeves up. So I think our wrists could pull it off diameter wise, but I think the thickness would in general be a frustration point. I have a stainless submariner, it looks a little small on my wrist but for living with it daily, it’s so much more comfortable than my gshock ever was just because it’s not in the way. I think you could probably pull off a sea dweller, I had tried on a sea dweller and it was a little chunky but it was also a little bigger in diameter than my submariner and it seemed do-able. Also, I’m a machine mechanic, I work on automated equipment, so I wear gloves a lot, I daily wear my submariner, I tuck it under the collar of the gloves when I had the gshock, it didn’t tuck under the gloves very well either.
@@alexsystems2001 thanks for your reply you are right as I do own a deepsea James's Cameron and a bi metal sea dweller the sea dweller is more comfortable on the wrist but the james Cameron moves around a bit more but both looks great. on the list for the bluesy sub as it's a 41mm looks a bit small compared to the others but still looks good but I haven't gone smaller than 41mm yet have you? Really like the new all gold deepsea but it's a lot of money thanks John.

Future $100K+ collectable
Good review thanks
They couldn’t make it any smaller because it’s waterproof to the bottom of the deepest point of the ocean on planet earth.

Are you Andre the Giant?
This person is absolutely wrong. Period Ideal sizes 42 to 44 mm. 50mm is for collectors___
Yooo OJ…good luck with the channel bro. I’ve known you since the old TZ, Paneristi, watchuwant days!
I need that watch so badly.
This review was hilarious! Great stuff
If I had the money and this watch is available, I would buy it. My eyes are getting weak and need bigger watch.

Why do you need 1100 metres of water pressure resistance?
Correction, 11,000m...and just because they can and an answer to Omega's Ultra Deep
Interesting. Time will tell. I personally disagree it's impracticable. Agree with it being a rare piece
Its for my 8.5 inch wrist.
Not for baby wrist
Good to know this guy knows FA about watches... especially with the RM on his wrist... can't trust a word he says 🤣
I need it want it
I’d buy it if I could afford it

I'm sure they'll be some obnoxious Russians or Chinese buying this.
Panerai or Uboat but not Rolex 😮
Small
It's 2 big and chunky it's a failure of a watch what was Rolex thinking
It's an invicta disaster
Rolex is for collection bro
