@@AllTimePerformanceHello I own a Chevrolet express 6.0 LQ4 with 90,000 miles, I live in France in a region where the climate is temperate, I do 6000 miles per year, I drive mainly in the summer, and I tow a 6000 lbs trailer, should I stick to the oil recommended by the manufacturer 5W30 or can I use a 5W40 for example???

I recently built an LY6 with about the same parts, but used GM corvette injectors, factory coil packs, fast fuel rails, mishimoto 2" rad, 9/7 blade fans, comp cams high lift truck cam, billet banked over cylinder heads, performance rockers and lifters, short tube headers, AFM+VVT delete, stock 6L80 trans. I'm not done tuning yet and am seeing 430HP in my 2012 Sierra Crew Cab

What did you use for a fuel pump and regulator?

Will the lq9 fit right into my 04 Silverado? I’m looking to do a 6.0 swap but I hear the lq9 is better than the lq4
Same motor lq9 just has higher compression
It'll fit gotta run 93 octane though
Lq4 has dished pistons while the lq9 has flattop pistons for higher compression. The lq9 is what’s in the Chevy Silverado ss and the escapades while the lq4 is the 2500 line engine.

@@carlosdelao9874either 93 or E85 if you’re gonna boost, that E85 will make quite the difference. But be aware it’s not plentiful in some areas and fuel mileage goes way down but way worth it!
Where did you get the radiator bracket?
im not sure but i think the shop made them

Who do you get to tune your ls swapped vehicles?
I have a guy here in GA that does it at his house. He is a good!
Would you be able to give an estimate on how much it costed you to do that engine swap? If possible could you do an estimate with just the engine and parts and then what you think it would cost for labor if a shop were to do the swap for me. If not no worries! Thankyou
I jus Ls swapped my obs chevy truck I bought a donor vehicle for the motor an transmission I called around about the Ls swap from a few shops an guesstimated me 14k then I found a official shop for the motor an transmission swap new exhaust all new sensors an tuning they charged me 9500 job came out immaculate truck runs like it was built that way

That 6.0 is a lq9 it came in the Cadillac Escalade 2002-2006, GMC Denali( Sierra and Yukon, Yukon XL) and the Chevy Silverado 1500 SS
What rear axle and ratio?
It’s the stock 8.5in 10 bolt with 3.73 gear
What exhaust setup

give or take ever dyno tells a different reading
450hp only?? 6.0 with just a cam and headers should be over 500
It is because the intake he's running
show me a 6.0 with cam and headers making 500whp.My motor made 450 at the wheel thats about 550hp at the crank. Plus my 6.0 has -10cc pistons for boost and it still made 450whp.

Richard Holdener posts videos of 6.0l builds. It doesn't take much to get a 6.0l to 450hp. My 5.3l build had less done and made 400whp. I know it's set up for boost, but still seems very low
How is it a built transmission if you haven't had it out?
