Pretty good video, would like to see more of this series. To deal with the wood problem I would suggest researching tree sowing and also downloading the tilled soil mod. It allows you to build tilled soil tiles that boost fertility.
Thank You for the comment, tree sowing could be good for wood potentially, but none my colonists are good at planting so farming trees could be a little slow. Also, I'm planning on having this be a mostly mod free playthrough with the exception of performance improving mods, so I won't be able to use the tiled soil mod.
@@UnknownVoidCat I don't blame you, ever since I learned I could mod Rimworld I went crazy with them. I booted up my game just to count how many I'm running and the total came out to 99. 💀 Once you build your colony up you could make caravans to forest tiles and have them haul wood back, I've done this before but it's a very slow process.
@@Redcoats1 Yeah I realized that for making a video I would have to cut the mods so that the video wouldn't come out looking extremely laggy, though when I went and looked at my last RimWorld playthrough that was not on video the number of mods totaled to 74 even after I removed a bunch of smaller mods like cleaner pathfinding and furniture mods to make the game run better, so now playing without any mods except performance ones makes for an interesting experience.
