I've been working on a story idea and feeling a bit overwhelmed/imposter syndrome this week about it, and your pep talk was just what I needed to remind myself that I CAN DO IT! Above all, love your "start messy" quote. Such good advice for writing but also life. I am a chronic over-planner of everything and am really trying to not fixate on the details before I jump into this story. So thank you for the reminder to JUST START! 💞

I start a lot of my ideas with piecing ideas in my head/on paper, and then pantsing for a bit then realizing it's not quite right which leads me back to figuring out more about the plot and the world until I have enough info to go drafting again. Currently working on the first draft of my first novel that I hope to finish at the end of the year. I always wanted to write stories. Tried a bit in 8th grade and then never bothered again. I found an outlet in poetry but writing a novel one day was always in the back of mind. Now, here I am finally starting on that journey. Glad authortube is around to keep me and other aspiring writers going!
You got this!! I was a writer when I was younger too and only now found my way back, I feel it is never too late to start writing again, I'm rooting for you!

We are all a bit delusional . I also wrote when I was a kid and strayed away from it
I feel this happens to so many of us with how busy life gets, but I feel like it’s never too late to find writing again
