I replaced a Honeywell aquastat L4006A 1678 which was high limit temp only with this 3200. The Honeywell is about $160 and 3200 about $190 and $32 for the Electrowell Well. But the digital temp display, LW monitoring, and status lights give you more information than the Honeywell, which tells you nothing. But there are many setups, so be aware of the 24v ac situation. With my Honeywell, I needed to give a 24v source to it, but the 3200 should only get a low voltage input through T TV, and it will send 24v to the boiler. My Zone pumps are controlled by a Taco SR gas boiler relay switch box, which is replaced the electro mechanical relays from 1964. The Taco was like replacing a room size Univac with a PC. I recommend this Hydrostat 3200 as far more user friendly than the Honeywell. You don’t need a new well, but for $32 for EcoWell, you’ll have low water monitoring functionality.
