As a schooled electrician. Having slack in wires when they are exposed to vibrations is really good. If it's a tight wire management the wires can get stretched, damaged, and you can have a really bad time. I have seen that happen in electric scouters, cars, Skateboards, even on my V11 LED strip mode. So having a bit of slack to compensate for the movement caused by vibrations is good.
Thanks for this video. I'll save it because I just bought a V12 and expecting delivery. This one is perfect for my needs. I'm going to have fun riding in 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico this summer.
Seeing the build quality of the motherboard makes me really wish people would respect theirselves and stop giving so much credit to gotway so they could up their game and do such things. Comon inmotion can do it , why can,'t they do a simple PC air flow sealed radiator system for their wheels where inmotion has done it the best way ever made. Smells so much like quality, i trust that v12 just seeing the way it was built and the effort in quality and design that has been put in. I mean just look at those batteries, those heatsinks,....everything ! Respect yourselves if you want real stuff. Nice informative video there, might buy v12 if it's proven reliable, don't care about 70 as long as i can cruise 50kmh , plus here it's 25kmh top (law)
So what about now, when we know they switched the mosfets to a cheaper version after the review copies were shipped? I certainly don't trust em after that
When i see the side panel i see so much possibility for after market mods. The only thing we need is that Inmotion releases 3D file with the dimensions of that panel.
Looking at the picture I have of the mosfets on the V11 what you showed us on the version you have they are larger mosfets. The ones on the v11 look to be 50% smaller. I am not sure the current carrying capacity there but it has got to be, at least, higher than the V11.
Wish every company would show the insides like this. Like Marty did for the Shermand and you for the V12. If you have quality, a video like this will only boost sales as we can see with the Sherman.
Still small Mosfets? They must be kidding. Gotways Very, very first 100V Monster prototypes had these small Mosfets...3 years ago. Lot of burned Mosfets boards reports. These are not realy capable of high amperage. Heavy guys and/or long hill riding will probably overheat and/or burn them. And no, thats not “assuming”....that are the reasons why fat TO-247 Mosfets are used in performance wheels....since 3 years.
@@evXNYC Just give me the part number off the board...or you can do it yourself and respond in kind with the nominal current carrying capacity specification the manufacturer gives..no guessing needed?
What are you looking for ? Is it Balancing? All you need to do is balance it with trickle charging overnight for some balancing or 3 days of trickle charging for true/full balancing of the batteries at the top voltage end. If you ride every day you would need to trickle charge for 24 to 48 hours once a month to maintain a good battery balance.
Thanks for the videos Mickey. A 16" with no suspension makes me yawn. For me the most interesting part of this video was when you mentioned the V13, my ears perked up there! INMOTION please get back to work on what everyone really wants: a 20inch suspension wheel with enough speed/range to compete with the Sherman. The market has spoken up LOUDLY & CLEARLY in 2020: A Sherman-killer will make you REAL money, guaranteed.
I really don't care about going with 70+ km/h, I just want a good, reliable commuter wheel. This looks like the upgrade I want. No wonder EUC-s are still a niche thing, people looking at us like aliens! :D
8:29 I've canceled my order after hearing that. I won't use any wheel that doesn't have smart BMS. It's like a ticking bomb. US government should ban none bms wheels.
Lol. Only the V11 has smart BMS. No other EUC can still operate if one battery pack fails mid-ride. Its smarter then others in that it doesn't immediately shut down and throw you off. Lol
I think you might understand "there's no smart BMS" as there's no BMS at all, which of course it does, and it's connected to the mainboard for diagnosis it looks like. The Smart BMS denomination is often used to describe a BMS which as Bluetooth or Bluetooth Low Energy capability to display in an app detailed cell groups (not every cell) voltage information, a capacity and charging cycle counter stuff like that. It's not *that* useful unless you're a battery nerd and have no functional difference either.

I realize I'm kinda off topic but does anybody know a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
@Malachi Raymond I would suggest Flixzone. You can find it on google :)
glad you got the go ahead to release your v12 content! that is a lot of work. I definitely feel more informed
The most highly anticipated EUC has made its arrival. Thank you EVX and Inmotion for your hard work efforts.

The heat sink position could have a potential problem.
The fins could get filled up by mud, and dirt reducing the cooling capability?
That cable slack is great for vibration
V13 with BMS confirmed? Thanks for advocating for improvements and innovation dude!

Hopefully spare parts will be available for the V12. Inmotion is notorious for being difficult to source spares, even from dealers like eWheels.
yep...still waiting on V11 parts...5 months going on 6, what good is warranty if no parts 😅
Side pads are designed to absorb side kicks and minimize scratching and cracking the rigid panels.
Amazing 😻
I wish you showed the boards from up close so that people could see what a good board looks like.
They should sell a flatter panel without pads for those who want to mount their own pads.
thank you!
wow this is really well designed.some mishaps but forgetable.
When should we expect the v13? is it worth waiting on?
Never worth it when you could be riding now. Go get what you like.
How is this wheel operate when off road?
I have a video where we touch on this on my v12 playlist: ruclips.net/p/PL3YjW_BoX3NrV8iVb0xxngnMPeY3UUXJ5
I dig it!!
6:14 "there is no fan on here"
.... the wheel is the fan lol.
It’s the coolest running wheel own next to the Sherman. This heat sink is legit. No need for a fan
How hard is it to change the tire?
Easier than the v11, but like all tire changes: time consuming.
