Job rotation is the name of a systematic management technique that sees an employer rotate their employees through multiple assignments - or job roles - at regular intervals. The manager regularly shifts the employees’ job positions between them, so that most workers get to experience the most available job positions in a given company.
There are several reasons this technique is employed - ranging between increased productivity, increased motivation, succession planning, and productivity evaluation.
