The 11s will never crumble, but if you decided to wear them, then the glue would give out and you'd get sole separation. This is across all vintage sneakers, shoes, boots, etc.
That's why they make glue to buy
Your OG Concords are in a lot better shape than mine are hahaha. They were the first Jordan I bought with my own money when i was a kid, glad I still have them. Beautiful sneakers. Thanks for sharing these.

If I had been smart like you, I would have gotten another pair back then. I agree with you on the craftsmanship. Generally it is better today. On my pair the stitching of the Jumpman isn't even that fantastic. I was thinking if people saw that today they would be claiming fake.

I'm watching the Jamie Foxx show S1 episode 2 "The bad seed" and dude pull out a pair of Columbia 11s and they were in the black and orange nike box so I hopped on RUclips to go back watch videos about the og 11s to leave this comment for public info because every video I've seen about the 11s, they were always in the black and grey box and I never heard or seen anything about 11s in the black and orange box until now. You are the 1st RUclipsr I've heard to mention it

One year later I acquired a BRED 11 1995 SAMPLE! The bottom sole separated after 10 wears so I need to restore now haha
IISourAyyII I Just Did My 1995 Concord XI By Icing Up The Sole Because It Was Pissed Yellow About Last 6 Months Since I Had Em I Did 7-8 Sessions By Using The 40 Volume Cream From Sally And Saran Wrap Left In The Sunlights From The Window About Couple Hours Turned It’s New Like 1995 Again
Bred 11s came out March 22, 1996. We’re coming up on 25 years.

You're right about the craftsmanship. The patent leather on the back of the right shoe of my breds is really off center.

Notice no yellowing on the soles whatever they were using on them back then they need to start using again
Yeah the soles back then were definitely better made with a material that limited yellowing.

My Childhood Shoe Columbia 11s Man My Brother Used To Take Me To Randall Mall In Suburban Of Cleveland Ohio We Catch 2 Buses To Get Over There He Traded The Light Up Shoes For Columbias That's Was February Of 96' It Was Still Winter I Worn Em Nearly Everyday Like I Didn't Had No Other Shoes To Wear I Played Basketball With Em Cross The Street And All Today I'm Copping The Same Exact Shoes From Jordan Years Ago Along With 1996 All Star Mitchell & Ness Jersey..... By The Way Great Collection And Still In New Condition Like Before

Jordan 1s and 11s midsole don't crumble, it uses phylon unlike Jordans 2 to 10 which uses polyurethane which crumbles overtime.
True Except The Xs Was For The Sole Separation They Don't Crumble And I Got The OG Pair For Myself But Other Than That XI's Are Easy To Restore All You Do Is Glue The Areas That Need To Be Done Using The Cement Glue & The Heat Gun And Then It's Wearable Again
The craftsmanship wasn't necessarily better, but the leather was much thicker and a better cut/ quality.

The best model of shoes of all time are the Jordan 11 the jordan 11s I have are the bred11s concords11s and space jam11s the best shoe of all time are the bred 11 and all of them are great
The quality & craftsmanship was waaay better back them except the Jordan Jumpman, the stitching was horrible.
The materials were definitely better...but that jumpman was terrible back in the day

Welp I Almost Complete The Set All I Need Is A Playoffs XI AKA “Bred” From 1996 2019 Release Is Cool Or Whatever But I Rather Get The Original I Already Been Got The Columbia & Concord XI’s From Original Release Not Perfect On The Soles Side But It’s Still In Great Condition I Glad That You Had To Double Em Up I Love Watching This Video 10x Of Day

I love to see a collector as old as me lol. And I also said over and over if you think the OGs had better quality, you actually never owned them. It’s mostly just little kids looking at old Nike retouched pictures then comparing them based off that.
Exactly! The older stuff uses nice quality materials but the craftsmanship isn't quite a nice. The OGs definitely don't look as good as the newer stuff.

I Noticed That Nike Changed The Box Of Jordan Into Nike Swoosh Orange Red & Black Box Around 1996 Way Before OG XII's Came Out I Got The OG Playoff XI Nike Swoosh Box From 1996 & OG Concord XI In Black/Grey Box Only The Box That I Don't Have For OG XI And That's OG Columbia Which It Was My Childhood Shoe Back In '96 I'm Trying To Get The OG Replacement Box For That....Other Than I Completed The OG Xi Set Finna Be 2 Years Ago In April

They just released them with both boxes. Both types of boxes are correct.

Yeah, buying them would be for collection purposes only. They would likely fall apart if worn.

The original are wearable with that mide sole the one thing that might happen is sole might come off but they is a easy fix just glue them back together and you will be fine
