We brough the ultimate tow truck! The EMO X3 by CROSS RC.
In this video we take our first look at the truck unboxing it on the channel. We do a few bench test and give you an honest review.
Cross RC EMO X3 is based on an off-road rescue vehicle, equipped with the powerful Cross RC EMO X chassis, and adds a number of major optimization upgrades. This resulted in the creation of this 1:8 multifunctional 4×4 simulation climbing vehicle EMO X3 that integrates trailer rescue and high-performance climbing.
Features.
4X4 drive system with optimized motor, 2 speed transmission with metal gears, CVD drive shafts, metal u-joints with strengthened nylon sliders.
Adjustable slipper clutch, strengthened 60t spur gear and 20t metal pinion, final drive ratio 17.8 (high speed) 38.9 (low speed), all metal transmission gears, Cross RC 25t high torque brushed motor.
Cross RC Velociraptor 136X55 R2.2 high performance crawler tires, 2.2″ bead lock wheels.
Precision aluminium alloy coil over shock absorbers with threaded adjusters.
EMO X portal axles with durable nylon housing and metal internal gears, front and rear differential locks.
375mm wheelbase, solid axle suspension system, stainless steel link rods, front Panhard bar, rear 4 link and rear balance bar.
Multi mode led lighting system.
6 channel 2.4g transmitter & receiver, Hobbywing® WP-880 brushed waterproof speed control, DS-R003C digital steering servo, SO11M digital servo for differentials and 2 speed.

I only found this out once the video was uploaded, etc....
i was turned off cross rc a few year back as the transmissions looked like some clockworck mechanism from a cheap brass clock.. how are they nowadays?
This is my first cross rc and won't be my last! So far its been fantastic! No transmission issues, really well built rig!

Get some nitro,s guy they are weapons noise smoke proper rc like petrol too !!!!
I don't mind nitro's, and had a fair few. They are quick for sure, However not many people run them around here! 2 stroke yes. I have a around 10 5th scale 2 strokes. more content will be on its way with them.
And these are £500+ what a ripoff
Mate, I've had mine a few months, and it's on another level in the flesh, and most definitely better than the Traxxas TRX4 and cheaper!

Don't get me wrong everyone is entitled to their own opinion which i respect. But this truck for the money is epic!
